Overall, our experience was good. We enjoyed the fire pit, especially for s'mores! Doug and Owen were very helpful hosts. There's a nearby coffeehouse 100% recommended, takes some time but it's worth it. tThe view is spectacular .has a great "hidden"garden . After 7:30 you can see fire flies. We enjoyed the 4th of July fireworks displays in nearby Brattleboro and later in Wilmington. The lake nearby is beautiful. Consider bringing bug spray. If traveling with children stay away from the dog.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

I had never been to Vermont (I live in Colorado) before so was looking forward to seeing what it had to offer. This house is in the perfect location - great views of the rolling hills and close to many small and unique artsy towns. The property has cool little nooks to hang out in outside - very tastefully done landscaping. The back yard has a big fire pit and lots of space to lounge after dinner to relax and enjoy the scenery. The house is very spacious, has a big kitchen, and comfortable rooms with great views. The hosts are very friendly and upbeat and provide the perfect mix of being there when you want them and giving you privacy. It's a good deal too!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your rental property! Your Cabin is located in the heart of southern Vermont and close to the border of 3 states, and therefore made our journey to many of our favorite activities convenient to reach . We could go to the theater, the movies , restaurants and shopping with ease of a day trip. Thank you for being excellent hosts as well as sharing your knowledge of the region . My family loved our week at your retreat . The lazy days at beautiful lake , the fantastic view form the cabin and your friendliness and your willingness to make our stay, memorable for me and my family this summer!! We shall return! I spent summers in this property for 5 years and will miss it very much since moving to Florida. The location is so magical somedays you will not want to go anywhere but out back by the firepit and just gaze. On the other days there is endless recreational activities of all kinds to enjoy. The experience is truly priceless. You will cherish the memories there. Thank you Owen!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

VIEW,VIEW,VIEW!! This "cabin" has a spectacular 3 state view. The setting is one of great natural beauty into which the unique everygreen garden fits seemlessly... imagine natural landscaping by a botanist!!... a must see. The place is very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Remote enough for that get away feeling yet close to many outdoor activities, great restaurants and a spectacular lake....a great place to be active or to relax. The owners are helpful and personable but leave you to enjoy the place as if it's your own. I had a great stay there and would recommend it highly...plan to return myself!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
