WOW, Great Get Away!!!!
WOW, Great Get Away!!!!
My husband and I spent four days at this lovely cabin with our two year old grand daughter and our German Shepherd Romell. We had a fantastic time!! Upon arrival, we were thrilled with the cleanliness of the cabin and all the amentities. We instantly walked out onto the deck and took in all the beautiful scenery. Linda stopped by to say hello and to drop off firewood. She is truly a sweet person. We did some sight seeing and shopping in the area but spent most of our time relaxing at the cabin, taking walks on the scenic property and hanging out around the firepit right outside the cabin. We had a wonderful time and left feeling refreshed and recharged. Thank you Linda for making this a very pleasant, much needed mini vacation. We hope to visit again in the near future.

We enjoyed our get away with our dog - Samba - over Memorial Day weekend. It was an easy and great escape from Washington D.C. The cabin is located near some great local wineries, a lake (great stroll around the like) and other hiking trails. Don't hesitate to go to this cabin to connect with nature. And if you have a dog...your puppy will be very, very happy!

October Color Wonderland!
October Color Wonderland!
Stayed here October 2011 during the peak leaf color time. Everything was just as advertised. Nice and quietly tucked away from the noise of the world. The owner went over and above to make sure my stay was comfortable. There are many great attractions, towns, and quaint restaurants to eat at within a half hour. I recommend this cabin highly for those seeking a week of peace, quiet, and natural beauty!
