The Penthouse Condo is located on aqua-blue Gulf water and the #1 rated beach by ‘Doctor Beach’, at Siesta Key . The spectacular views from every room and the sunsets cannot be duplicated anywhere else. You'll find yourself opening the sliding glass doors onto the expansive 40 foot long porch, awe struck by the beautiful 180 degree expanse of white sand beach and aqua-blue water. The porch is equipped with comfortable chairs, side tables and a breakfast table and 2 chairs for outdoors dining. The porch is a gathering point and a great place to lounge or entertain and impress your friends. It also includes a 'great-room' living room & dining area with 12 foot ceilings adjoining the porch so the views are non-stop even inside. This will be your favorite room for non-TV time relaxing, listening to music, reading and entertaining indoors.
The Penthouse has a Master Bedroom suite with private bath, tub and shower, walk-in closet and dressing area. The second bedroom and the sleep in den share a second shower-equipped bathroom. The Master bedroom suite in separated from the other 2 bedrooms/den by the great room in a split room concept - perfect for a second couple or guests with children.
The Penthouse has a fully equipped kitchen off the great room dining area including refrigerator, oven-stove top, micro-wave, dish washer, clothes washer and dryer, dishes, pots and pans and serving trays. The open dining area includes a large table and six chairs. In the dining area here is a credenza and serving cabinet for buffet style meals with a, drawers for table-top accessories, a wine storage refrigerator and stereo system hidden underneath. All bathrooms/bedrooms have towels and linens.
The Penthouse is equipped with beach chairs, sun umbrella and beach towels – just bring your swimsuit and flip-flops. There are two outside showers for beach sand spray-off upon your return. The powdery textured sugar-sand will caress your feet as you stroll along the Gulf of Mexico. This is a beach walker or runner’s paradise. Watch beautiful sunsets from the Gulf front porch, stroll the beach or just sit in a beach chair watching the beauty unfold.
You will have 2 reserved parking spaces under the street-side carport plus 2 more guest cars can be parked behind them. Should you have more visitors you can park in the beach access parking lot next door. You are just a few blocks walk from the world famous “Siesta Key Village” where you will find fashion-wear shops, jewelry and beach fashion shops. You delight in the fine and casual dining restaurants, beach theme bars, candy, cupcake and ice cream shop. Siesta Key Village also has a full service pharmacy, market and hardware store along with gas station/convenience store.
Want adventure? The local attractions in the Sarasota Bay Area will surprise and delight you. Take a trip to Mote Marine Aquarium and Research facility. Located on Sarasota’s “City Island” near St. Armand Key. On your return, stop in St. Armand's Circle, at one of the many casual restaurants. After lunch stroll around the circle for hours of shopping exploration. Historic Spanish Point should also be on your list of half-day trips. Learn about the region’s prehistory in “A Window to the Past,” the only archaeological exhibition in the nation built inside of a shell mound. This condo is absolutely amazing for any type of vacation adventure! The location is perfect for a long relaxing beach vacation, a sight seeing vacation to discover the joys of what Sarasota and surrounding islands have to offer, an adverturous thrill seeking trip OR all combined into one. The accommodations are meticulously maintained. I've been coming here for six years and when I get here I feel like I'm home, with a better view and a better housekeeper! The view from the lanai is to die for and I've spent many hours reading or simply watching the wildlife and gorgeous Gulf surf. The Village is a short walk or ride, if you prefer to take one of the golf cart or bike cab rides. You can also rent bikes or scooters if you'd like to get around in another manner. Everything you need is conveniently located within the Village - groceries, pharmacy, restaurants, gift shops, and ICE CREAM (make sure you go to Big Olaf's). The Blu Qu Grill has fabulous BBQ and the Daiquiri deck has a killer Electric Lemonade and good salads, sandwiches and seafood. Outside of the Village is the Green Turtle Gift Shop which is a MUST see. You will find unique gifts for anyone on your list!There are many interesting attractions located within 15-20 minutes from the condo. You can also parasail, jet ski, fish, sail and partake in many other exciting water activities. Book a sailing charter through Enterprise at Marina Jack's and enjoy a gorgeous 1/2 day sailing adventure. Take the Marina Jack lunch or dinner cruise and try Le Barge party boat sunset tours. No matter what you are looking for, this is the place you want to be. I've had friends and family stay here in Siesta Key with me and they rave about how perfect it is. If you're looking for the perfect vacation spot, this is truly heaven on earth!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

We really enjoyed staying here. The condo has just everything you need and want, and the location near village is simply perfect. The climate has been extremely friendly and we have had lots of exciting experiences, like excursions around, doing no less than five nearby golf courses and the good life of bathing in the open gulf. Siesta Key sunsets are really beautiful here, maybe even a “flash of green”. Birds are really fantastic here, and we have been stunned with watching the pelicans and other sea birds in their spectacular fishing activities along with playful dolphins. The Penthouse is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. Loved the decor and the views are outstanding! Lots to watch from the balcony our entertainment center. We watched sailboats, beach goers, paragliding, and how awesome to see the dolphins in the morning feeding and swimming right off the beach. All the amenities are great. Right down to the balcony, the center focus for all who visit us here. This condo is a beautiful, well maintained, white sandy beach that we really enjoyed our month here and found quite relaxing. I would highly recommend.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This is a beautiful condo. The furnishings are comfortable, ample and inviting. The great room (living room) is spacious and open. The condo has everything we needed for our stay, whether it was cooking, beaching, relaxing. The condo's location is perfect for walking north to the Village for dinner, ice cream or shopping; or for walking south to participate in Sunday night's Drum Circle at the public beach area. The view of the beach and sunset from the condo is spectacular and totally unobstructed. The condo is quiet, allowing for plenty of restful reading and relaxation. I have enjoyed my stays in this condo and recommend this location to others. Siesta Key beach sand is like no other. The Village offers fun and casual dining to fine dining and great shopping. Any necessities you do not bring with you are readily available in the Village. Return to this condo after a busy, fun, beach day and feel like you are 'home'.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Our family has stayed at this beach condo for the past 25 years and now that our children are grown and have moved away we spend most of our time visiting them. The owner has always kept the unit in top condition and there is absolutely no deferred maintenance. After spending a day playing games and building sandcastles with our children, we would retreat to the condo for the most spectacular sunsets that you can imagine. Like a huge ball of fire was settling into the ocean, the dramatic colors painted a picture that often made us feel like we were in another world. After dinner we would take a quick walk to the local ice cream store for the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Upon returning, we would all gather in the den to watch movies and play games. The owner always has the latest electronic equipment and we would laugh and play games until the kids went to bed. Without fail, we would always end up on the porch which gave us a 180 degree panoramic view of the water and nothing was more relaxing than hearing the waves lap at the beach. Speaking of the beach, this is a nice wide area of white sand that goes for miles. Nothing compares to the Gulf Beaches period. The sand gently slopes into the warm clear waters and there is no drop offs like on the Atlantic side. If a picture paints a thousand words, then I would like these words to paint a thousand pictures. I have often thought that this place was like heaven on earth. I'm sure that once you stay here you will feel that I have underestimated the true meaning of paradise.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: Herb and Ellen Weiss have lived in Sarasota since grade school, spending their summer vacations at the beach, sailing and fishing. They both attended state colleges and have worked in the central Florida area in local hospitals and owners of several tech companies. They now have their permanent home in Winter Park FL on Lake Virginia near Orlando. They currently stay at the Penthouse whenever it is not rented. They actively visit many of the same attractions and enjoy the Siesta Key Village, beach, sail and fish the area, so their recommendations are genuine.
Why the Owner Chose Other Sarasota Properties:
We found lifelong careers in the Central Florida area. Eventually making our permanent home in Winter Park Florida. Since we both grew up in the Sarasota area and lived for a period of time on Siesta Key we decided we wanted a summer home here. After looking for months at 20 or more properties we chose the Penthouse Condo at 524 Beach Rd., Siesta Key. We both have a lifelong love of of the gulf beaches, sailing, fishing, and Siesta Key. After 28 years of visits to Siesta Key at our Penthouse Condo we never tire of the island and all the sun and fun the area provides. Siesta Key and Sarasota have a magnetic intoxicating attraction. Whatever your reason for visiting once you do you will return again and again and again.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We tell our friends that if our condo was not directly on the beach we would have no reason to be here. The most enjoyable areas of our Penthouse Condo is the expansive panoramic views provided by our 40 foot Gulf front porch. The 2nd most enjoyable area is the great room living and dining area. With its 12 foot high ceilings, skylights and panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico beach it's just perfect. We have literally spent hours in both areas reading, quiet conversations and in total contentment looking at the Gulf beach views. Sometimes it takes an effort to leave even for shopping or a restaurant reservation. The great thing is we can walk to the Siesta Key village to do everything and return without leaving the island.
