Paradise View Villa says it all. It is located at the very top of the area call Las Huacas, 600 ft above sea level. It is a multi-complex home, with a total of 7 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms (this includes the ½ bath outside by the pool) in the 3 buildings. It is located in the prestigious section EE, behind Guiones Beach on a dead end road. There is only one way in and one way out of this beautiful hill. The land was purchased in 2002 and construction was completed in 2005. (check out the satellite map below).
Paradise View Villa is a spectacular location for Weddings, Yoga or Art Retreats, Family Reunions, Corporate Retreats, and much more. Even small families enjoy the privacy and view atop the hill. Private catering, maid services, and babysitting are available for a separate fee, depending on the number of days, types of food, and number of people in the party. Catering services are available for up to 80 people. More people can be served, but rental of outside tables and chairs would be necessary. Beachside elegant settings are a must for private weddings or just a romantic beachside sunset dinner.
The house and cabinas are newly renovated and redecorated to please any palate.
The main house is designed to enjoy the outdoors, with arched doors that open up the whole house. The view of the Pacific Ocean can be enjoyed from 4 of the 7 bedrooms. There is 3 bedrooms with a loft. The three bedrooms fo the main house have king size beds and the loft has 2 double beds. There are a total of 3 sleeper sofas in the kitchen/living area. The master bedroom and one other bedroom each have satellite tv. The 3 bedrooms have ac, but the loft does not. There are two available pack-n-plays for small children. The kitchen/living is split level, with enormous living spaces with 30 ft ceilings. The arched doors of the main house open up from the master bedroom, kitchen, living room, and one extra bedroom onto an enormous covered patio. Almost all the wood in the houses are made of various exotic woods, with the exception of a few antique pieces located througout the main house.
In front of the covered patio is a 35,000 gallon pool and a baby pool off to the side of the house.
A large bar with bar stools where you can enjoy your tropical drinks or enjoy a quiet and serene meal. The gardens are magnificently groomed 5 days a week, with beautiful pathways throughout to enjoy the local flora and fauna.
Located outdoors are his & hers ½ baths by the pool with showers behind them for rinsing off after the beach. The pool is not considered a bathtub!
The large cabina with the 2 connecting rooms, also has exquisite views of the ocean. Each has a queen size bed and double sleeper sofa. Each has a private bath with waterfall showers. Each of these rooms is equipped with a satellite tv.
The small cabina nestled in the beautiful gardens with a double bed and private bath. Each of these 3 rooms has ac and fans.
The kitchen is a beautiful gourmet kitchen with many wonderful amenities. It has a GE profile gas stove, garbage disposal, and microwave, blender, percolator coffee maker for up to 40 cups, plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware and cookware. If you require something special, please ask, because we probably have it in storage. If you choose not to spend your vacation cooking, we can arrange for you to have a private French trained chef (the owner) for one or for all of your meals.
Paradise View Villa also has customized Adventure packages, including: Fishing, Sunset tours with wine or champagne and gourmet appetizers, Boat trips for surfing to other beaches, either south or north of Nosara, kayaking, paddle boarding, atv’s, etc.
AC is not usually needed, and the owners are very environmentally conscience, so it is requested that all ac's, fans and lights are turned off when one is NOT in that room. There is no ac in the living room/kitchen area. Bedroom ac's are not to be used to cool these areas!
Almost all the furniture was custom made here on the property by the owner’s family. There is Teak, Guanacaste, Pochote, Melina, and Iron Wood. The floors are all tile, with the exception of the loft, which has Teak. The ceilings in the main house have Melina and in the large cabina there is Teak.
A car is not a necessity, but is definitely recommended. It is a 5 minute drive to the beaches and to the main restaurants and shopping. The driveway is gated. There is an inside walk in bodega (safe room) where all your personal possessions can be placed for security. The gardener will be on site 5 days a week (sometimes 6-7), and if you wish to have security or have the owner stay on site when you go out at night, this can be arranged. Everything with Southern Hospitality is offered to make your vacation the most memorable you can have!
Just remember, this is the jungle, and there are critters and insects. They were here before we were. We spray with organic sprays only, but sometimes there is a need for more and we don't use harmful chemicals.
Keywords: Large House / Villa with multiple buildings. The main house has has 4 bedrooms. The three main rooms have king beds and the loft has 2 double beds. There are 3 sleeper sofas in the main house. The 2 large cabinas each have a queen bed and double sleeper sofa. The small cabina has a double bed.

I just got the time to write about my wedding experience at paradise view villas . I have been extremely busy since we have returned but I just had to tell other potential brides of what a perfect location this is for weddings . My photos were absolutely beautiful ! I had 15 people in our party . Debbie the owner was more than accommodating to our needs. We hired her for all of the food for the ceremony and all of the pre-ceremony dinners , the food was amazing . We had a few authentic Costa Rican meals that were delicious and by the request of the kids they had her famous fried chicken which after tasting we requested it on our last night there . The accommodations were perfect and the balcony view is priceless . The sounds of the jungle lulled us to sleep each night . Debbie also hooked us up with surfboard rentals and one day she and her husband Daniel took us on a quad tour to the most beautiful black sand beaches that I have ever seen ! Everything was perfect for a destination wedding , we plan on coming back every year for our anniversary .Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Amazing return clients! So much fun and can't wait to see you again!

Rented this property for a corporate getaway during Semana Santa this year. Stayed Wednesday through Sunday. Not only does the place have the best view in Nosara but it's extremely roomy, well decorated and absolutely comfortable in every way. Listing description is very accurate. The pictures don't do it justice - especially the view - which never got old. The property is well maintained, the gardens groomed and safely off the beaten path. All of the rooms are spread out nicely (there were 14 of us) so everyone had plenty of privacy. Lots of little areas to sit, talk and drink. We cooked a few of our own meals. However the real treat was having Debra (the property owner) cook several meals including a couple of breakfasts, a couple of dinners and Sunday brunch. Quiche was incredible! Banana/chocolate pancakes were a big hit with my kids. All were excellent but the bunch was awesome - leftovers came home with us to San Jose! You can eat out by the bar with the view or there is an incredibly huge covered area right outside the doors of the main house. In case of rain "you're covered". The bar area was excellent for a group our size but even at double our size would have been awesome. Includes a nice double-door refrigerator and over-head glass racks for the bar. Lots of lighting everywhere, statues and his/her pool bathrooms that serve for the bar as well make this area an awesome party place where we lived during our stay. I live here in Costa Rica and I'm very familiar with vacation rentals in general - this is a good one. You won't be disappointed! Feel free to contact me with questions. I'm happy to recommend Debra and this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Very fun clients! Thank you all for you kindness and taking care of the property! You really treated it like your own home. Mi casa es su casa!

Myself and a group of 9 other guys just spent a week at Paradise View Villas. It really does have one of the best views in all of Nosara. We enjoyed the view outside bar and tables that are set up next to the pool. We employed Debbie, the owner, to be our chef for the week. She is an amazing cook and we had one great meal after another. It was my first time renting on top of the hill and it is much more quiet and private than being closer to the main part of town (we rented ATVs to get up and down which was a blast). I would definitely stay there again and I'm missing Debbie's Stuffed Jalapenos and Lobster Tails right now as I'm writing this (she also made awesome ceviche and possibly the best burgers I've ever had). I highly recommend Paradise View Villa. Thanks again, Debbie!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Very fun, very easy guests! I enjoyed cooking for them!

Property is well maintained with nice gardens and a wonderful pool. The view is spectacular. The one drawback for us was that we were traveling with two toddlers (3 and 1 1/2 yrs old) and there are parts of the house that made me and my husband extremely anxious, namely the inside staircase is a little hairy and there are parts where the patio drops off and doesn't have any type of guardrail. BUT, if that doesn't bother you, the pool is perfect for little kids as it has this very shallow end for them to splash around in (my kids jumped in the pool before we even had all the luggage out of the car) and there is even a small play structure for toddlers to play on. Debbie was easy to work with, very helpful and a fantastic chef. We hired her for a special dinner one night with family. Roxanne was wonderful for day to day cooking and cleaning help. The town/shops.restaurants of Nosara are a short bumpy drive away, so you definitely need a car or to hire taxis if you want to go to the beach or anywhere else.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We rented this house for our (relatively) small wedding in Nosara and couldn't have been happier! The house is nestled up a rugged little hill that's definitely worth the drive for its amazing views (the photos on the site really don't do it justice). The property itself was very clean and well-maintained and Debbie (the owner) was more than helpful in setting everything up for us beforehand. And as a bonus, she is also a chef and was able to cook our wedding meal that we had by the pool overlooking the ocean! We'd definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a great place to host a wedding or just a large number of people in the beautiful town of Nosara!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family vacationed here and we loved it. The home was fine, but what makes the place special is outside the home and the pool and gorgeous view. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to vacation in Costa Rica. Its approx 5-7 minutes from the different beaches, and you need a car (SUV is preferred). We would go back here if we return to Costa Rica.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I,my fiancee, and four other couples arrived to Debbie's paradise view and all we could say is "wow" "gorgeous"!!!! We have traveled all over from Hawaii ,Puerto Rico, the West Indies ,and Mexico and this place is far the most gorgeous. The view is breathtaking. We spent our days surfing, lounging by the beautiful pool, and our nights eating by the stars and the sounds of the jungle at the bar by the pool. We went offshore fishing with Daniel and Debbie cooked our catches of the day. It was far the best meal Ive ever had! She catered a meal for one of the guests anniversary dinner and it was amazing!!!! Debbie was a perfect host and a wealth of information on where to eat and how to enjoy the best that Nosara has to offer. The beach is only a five minute drive downhill and everytime we made the climb up the mountain and sat on the balcony to enjoy the ocean views we were in heaven! This is definitely a five star plus property and we are already making plans to have our wedding there and have Debbie cater it. We felt like we were part of the family and are looking forward to making more beautiful memories at Paradise View.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife and I rented VDP for 8 days with family and friends and held our wedding/reception here at the end of the week. We can both say that both the property and the town of Nosara made it the best week of our lives. The main house is large enough to house several people comfortably and the cabinas are nicely acquainted with amenities. The view is fantastic and next to the pool is a wonderful bar, with sink and large refrigerator, making it a great hangout for breakfast and sunset drinks. We comfortably fed 30 on our own and held a catered reception of 40 without a problem. It would be a lie to say the week was without hiccups. Debbie, the owner, is sometimes difficult to deal with. For background, my wife and I live in a 600 sq ft house in Dallas with bugs and the occasional mouse—we are hardy types, not prone to complaining. We made a few small suggestions, such as adding some outdoor lounge chairs for guests as shown in pictures, but absent when we arrived and new tips for the billiard cues which were all broken upon our arrival. She seemingly took these suggestions as personal attacks, making her visibly upset. Later, she complained openly to our breakfast guests that they were eating too much and she was not going to make a profit on the food (they ate mostly bread and fruit with some eggs and rice), though we paid each $8 per person, which was nearly double what we paid for breakfast in town. The small cabina was overrun with several ants, not of worry to us, but the guests planning to stay there had a 6-month-old baby and preferred not to expose him to ant bites. When we made mention of this, Debbie stated, “ants were here before you and they will be here after you.” I understand her plight, but it seemed to me she could have been more “customer friendly” in these situations. That said, the bad certainly did NOT outweigh the good—Debbie is very relaxed about what goes on at her place. She never set limits on what we could do or how many people we could entertain. She was very accommodating in such regards and even paid for a maid to help us cook and clean up for a party we held before the wedding. Leading up to our week stay, she was very responsive to questions by email. The above noted, we must stress that we would stay here again in a heartbeat for our wedding and in the future. We had an excellent time at VDP and can’t wait to go back. 5-star property with 4-star service, no one could leave this magical place disappointed.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Clients we also very difficult to deal with and in the end did not pay a very large bill owed to them. I have been in the service industry for 35 years and have never dealt with clients so difficult.

We stayed at Vista del Paraiso with our whole family and had plenty of room to spread out and great places to come together there. The pool and view were amazing--one afternoon while swimming a whole family of howler monkeys congregated above us on the trees by the pool. Short distance from Playa Guiones and other beaches. Debbie was very welcoming and made us feel right at home, she also had wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and cooked us a delicious meal one night! I can't wait to go back :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Words will never capture the view or the scenary of this spot. The description does a good job, and be prepared to be even more wowed. And the stars at night! I haven't see stars like that in years--clear view of the Milky Way. Shooting stars and all. We were there for New Year's eve and at midnight there were fireworks in the horizon, Thai wish balloons floating across the bay, and shooting stars to usher in 2012! The house is lovely, clean, open--all the luxuries of a 5-star hotel. Howler monkeys and birds to wake you up. Comfortable beds. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations. It's just a short drive down the hill to the beaches and the "hotspots" for surfing, music, and yoga. I highly recommend this rental and would stay there again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
