This is the best at Sanibel Arms! Located on the desirable east end of the island where the beach is very wide, this well-appointed condominium was recently completely remodeled and provides you with all of the comforts of home. You will love it here as you unwind with the comfortable island style furnishings. Four ceiling fans throughout the condo will keep you comfortable. If you choose to dine in, your well-equipped kitchen will enable you to create a gourmet feast or a simple casserole. No need to go downstairs to do laundry. Our unit has a washer and dryer inside! Arise early enough to take in a breathtaking sunrise from the beach. Be sure to bring a bag to place all of the shells you will collect while there. Feel the sand between your toes as you walk 1/4 mile to the west and visit a tiki bar for lunch or a cocktail. After a day of fun in the sun, enjoy the gulf breeze and gulf view from our large, breezy, three-sided screened-in lanai. Leave the beach chairs at home and use the ones we provide. Interested in bringing your boat but unsure where to dock it? How does right across the street at your private dock sound?
Our on-site office offers you many conveniences that most condos on the island do not. Upon arrival, check in there to pick up your keys and immediately get settled. No need to cut into your beach time driving all over the island looking for a rental agency. Bikes are available for rent in the office, just downstairs from our condo. Brouse through the many books available for guests and take one out to the beach. Or, for information on the many restaurants, shops, and activities on the island, pick up a brochure or guide book. Bring your laptop and connect to our wireless internet in the condo, or leave it at home and use one of the two available computers in the clubhouse to catch up on your e-mail.
A definite 'do not miss' on the island is Ding Darling Refuge. You will want to bike, hike, kayak, or drive through it to see the native wildlife. Low tide is best. If you miss the culture of the big city, have no worries. The Schoolhouse Theater offers very entertaining plays. Big Arts offers a wide variety of programs, including concerts, lectures, movies, art shows, and more. On a rainy day, you will want to visit the Island Cinema to catch a first-run movie. Shop the many fine retail stores on the island or visit one of the nearby outlet malls.
The mid-season rate is $1300.00 for the following dates:
12/20/2014 through 1/31/2015
4/11/2015 through 5/02/2015

About: We live in the midwest and had vacationed several years on Sanibel. We would love to live on Sanibel all winter, but are not yet retired. Until then, we will rent it out people like you. My daughter loves it so much, she was married on the beach at sunset on Sanibel!
Why Sanibel Arms: When I first crossed that bridge, all my worries disappeared. There are no high rises, and the wide sandy beaches are uncrowded even during high season.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: You will love the gulf breezes and the partial view of the gulf from the screened lanai. If you are an early riser, catch the sunrise and then collect the morning's first shells on your walk to the lighthouse.
