Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 9
We fell in love with the arrondissement! The 9th arrondissement is THE PLACE TO BE.
On the eastern side you can find the rue des Martyrs, with its bars, shops and its nightlife. The western part is more cultural; with its numerous and famous theaters, and its museums: Musée de la vie Romantique, Musée Gustave Moreau.
The apartmend is in a strategic place, just in the middle!
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment

A Perfect Parisian Place to stay

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks for a perfect Parisian vacation. The location is great - close to the metro, Gallaries Layfayett, the Opera, Pigalle. From the front sidewalk, there is a view of Sacre Coeur. We walked all hours of the day and evening, and always found plenty of things to see and do. There is a lovely wine bar across the street (Rouge Passion), and a small grocery, which we took advantage of numerous times. The best croissant is 2 blocks up the hill, so each morning we had lovely fresh croissant and coffee, then took advantage of the wi-fi internet to plan our day. Consolata met us upon our arrival and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment - how to run the washer and dishwasher, work the TV and DVD player and access the internet connection. She was very kind and helpful. One note for Americans - the dryer is actually a drying rack. However, we brought fewer clothes and used the washer in the apartment, or the laundry mat 1 block up, which allowed us more room in the luggage to bring home wine and cassoulet. The bed was firm and comfortable, and the shower was really nice. Location, comfort, amenities were everything we hoped for, and we truly enjoyed our stay. We hope to visit and stay here again. Many thanks, merci beaucoup, Consolata!

Dear Consolata, My stay at your apartment was all that I had hoped for. The description and photos were all accurate, the apartment was clean and very comfortable. The location was excellent - it's close to several restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery and is easy walking distance to the Opera House and other major attractions. I was able to feel very much at home in the apartment. I would certainly recommend staying here! Bill

Dear Consolata, we are so happy that we found this apartment for our week's stay. This apartmen is very convenient to our son, daughter-in-law and new grandaughter. We love the neighborhood and took your suggestion in eating in L'Aromatik down the block. There are also some excellent restaurants in the area (Petit Canard was one of them). We loved the rain shower. The washing machine was great to have. We used the dryer, but we also used the local laundromat. We've been to Paris many times and was glad to find 2 museums that we never visited right in the neighborhood. 5the Musée Gustave Moreau -you suggested- and Musée de la Vie Romantique). The best thing about the apartment was that everything was new and maintenance free. We hope to be able to stay here again on our next visit to Paris. Thank you!

Consolata, we very much enjoyed our stay. We love the furnishings and how averything goes together so well. We were so happy with all of your accomodations for our little 18 month old. The chait, the bath tub and the French book for kids is great and so helpful. We love the window blinds because they shut out all the light and it helped her to take naps. My only suggestions would be to get the DVD player and to have a coffee maker. Otherwise, the apartment is wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We hope to come back! Gros bisous

After staying in various accomodations across Europe, we loved the spatiousness of the bathroom and shower and ample size of the bed! The kitchen was well equipped but I would have liked for there to have a few more spices to work with and olive oil as well :-) We absolutely adored the area as we spent an entire afternoon and evening exploring, shopping eating and drinking! It was also a surprise to find we were located so closely to the Moulin Rouge as we stumbled across it one day. Another great perle to the flat was its proximity to the metro stop, it made it even easier to get around with ease and return for a small afternoon rest! Overall, we had quite a lovely experience during our 3 nights here and greately appreciate Consolata's hospitality and help during our arrival!

I was here for 1 week with my parents, it felt like our home in Paris. The equipment in the house is all new and good, everything we needed was prepared, so thoughtful. The room is not so big, but enough for 2, or 3 when you are close to each other. Location is great, very convenient for tourists. Another good thing of this place is the landlady, she's very sweet and helpful. Hope to see you again!
Owner response:Thank you so much for your words! It was a pleasure meeting you!

My wife and I stayed here during our recent short stay in Paris from July 8-13, 2011. The flat was clean, well equipped and very comfortable - and appeared newly renovated. It also doesn't hurt that the flat was very competitively priced - we thought we got excellent value for our Euros staying here. The owner, who spoke perfect English, met us upon arrival and filled us in on everything we needed to know about the area - she even provided us with maps and Paris travel guides. The flat is a short safe walk to either Pigalle or Trinity Metro Stations. Lots of great shopping and restaurants south of Trinity Metro as well. Plenty of good supermarkets near by - best one for us was closer to Pigalle Metro (out the door turn left and go up the hill) - which was great for our picnic supplies and snacks for at home. Also communication with the owner is very good as she appears genuinely interested in ensuring you have a pleasant stay at her flat. We would absolutely consider staying here again the next time we find ourselves in Paris!
Owner response:Thank you! I really hope to meet you again! ciao

I lived here for 40 days, it was as cosy, high ceiling, bright and simple design make me felt comfortable and relax, Sometimes I was more enjoyed stay in the flat, turned on the music and have a cup of coffee, watching the garden instead of going outside, it was perfect that I felt living like a parisien ^^
Owner response:I really hope to have you back here again! It was a real pleasure meeting you! ciao
