True beachfront condo complex - not across the road from the beach. Seconds from condo unit to beach makes for easy quick runs back to the condo to get things from the kitchen, etc. and it is very family oriented, casual, relaxed and comfortable inside and out.
Ours is one of only a few units in the complex that have two large connecting balconies furnished with new patio furniture. One is off the living room with tables and chairs where you will enjoy wonderful dinners with your family and friends. Read a book or take a nap on the other connecting balcony off the master bedrom. You will enjoy this arrangement and the way it enlarges your living space.
Our unit has two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms, both with glass shower doors. The master bedroom is one of the largest in the complex and is wonderful for leaving the window open at night to hear the sound of the waves and again in the morning you will wake to a beautiful sunrise. It is a corner unit so it has windows on two sides, a comfortable king size bed, a walk-in closet and a flat screen television mounted on the wall. The master also has a door opening to a large balcony with lounge furniture.
The second bedroom is also very nice as well with a queen size bed and a flat screen television mounted on the wall.
There are twin bunk beds in their own niche in the hallway and a new queen sleeper sofa in the living room so the unit can sleep eight adults.
The light and bright living area is completely open to the kitchen. There is also a bluray dvd player and cable tv for the large flatscreen wall mounted tv with Blu Ray and Netflix streaming. We also include wireless high speed internet for you at no additional charge.
The complex has a large heated pool and two large hot tubs plus a kiddie pool all surrounded by beautiful landscaping and many lounge chairs. Beyond the pool area are porch swings and an outside shower for washing off sand from the beach.
Our unit is on the first floor above the parking garage and is right next to the staircase so is quick and easy to run up and down to the unit instead of waiting on the elevator. We are often able to park right next to the stairs. There is also an elevator toward the other end of the building with luggage carts.
We are so excited to own this condo and it is our second home. We are trying to add as many niceties for our guests that we enjoy ourselves and we expecty everyone that stays here to treat it as their home - to be really comfortable and have a great time. Most rental units in the area provide the bare minimum of supplies like one dishwasher tablet, one roll of paper towels, one or two coffee filters, etc but we prefer to make our guests more comfortable by providing you with more generous supplies of our own.

The condo is as expected from photos and description. The owners were quite helpful in getting us in a little early, as we couldn't get groceries until we unloaded our vehicle. The kitchen was well stocked and access to the owner's closet was helpful. As we used something up, we replaced it - saved not having to buy everything at once (coffee, dishwasher tabs, charcoal and lighter, etc.) Nice location, beautiful beach, nice pool area, hot tubs, convenient parking. Weather could have been much better - too cold and very windy for the beach. Enjoyed Rain Forest Cafe, Pleasure Pier, The Strand, walking tour of live oak carvings, and spending time with kids and grandkids. I would say these units are a little small for 8 people (2 children), even though there was ample sleeping space. If the weather had been better, we wouldn't have spent as much inside. More hooks for towels in the bathrooms would be helpful, especially since nothing got dry outside.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Location on beach side is the highlight of the rental; pool facilities are above average. Space is tight in unit; we had 4 adults and 1 toddler and were pressed for space. We had problems with cleaning crew, TV, and ceiling fans. Outdoor space is nice asset, but faces Seawall Blvd on one side so road noise is an issue; outside of building is weathered. We enjoyed outings to Moody Gardens, Ferry, Library, and Pier 22.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This property was excellent for our Spring Break 2013! Comfortable and clean. It really felt like home away from home. Beautifully decorated and maintained. The owners closet was great for little items that we needed during our stay. We loved walking the beach and enjoyed fabulous sunrises and full moon over the ocean. Many different restaurants to choose from and enjoyed Pleasure Pier. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to getaway and relax. Although the entire complex is a little older, this condo is nicely updated. The paint is fresh and all of the decor is really nice. We had 2 adults and 3 teenagers but had plenty of room in the condo. The bathrooms are a little small. We had a wonderful time in the condo and enjoyed our time in Galveston.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our hosts were very accommodating. This trip was part winter getaway and part reunion with an old friend. Our travel arrangements made it necessary to come in on a Thursday and leave the following Friday. No problem. The condo is well appointed and clean. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The pool area was clean and attractive. It was a little cold for much swimming . We like to walk the beach in the morning and the direct access was great. The area features a number of great restaurants with local flavor. We took the historic tour, visited Moody Gardens, played golf and spent hours walking the sea wall. The only negative was the road noise, lack of space for groceries, and the living area is a little cramped. I would like to thank our host for an enjoyable stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

This was the best vacation ever. We have been to galveston before and stayed in a hotel but nothing compares to this condo. I felt so at home. It was so peaceful. I love going to the beach when the summer crowds are all gone so that I can have it all to myself. This was the perfect time. The condo was very comfortable, and relaxing. I had wanted a condo that looked directly onto the beach. I am so glad that we got this one with the wrap around balcony. One side of the balcony overlooks the ocean and the other side overlooks a pond. I love to take pictures and I got the best. Pelicans, rabits(mom,dad, and 4 babies),opposum, and so many other birds that I don't know the names of, on and around the pond. Then waves, sand, seashells, seagulls, sunrises and sunsets. Everything was just wonderful. If you want to relax with the best views and the most privacy and comfort this is the place to go. If you want more excitement you are only a minute from all the great dinning and shopping. Moody Gardens is great and the Rain Forest Cafe has the best food, in my opinion. Thank you to the owners for sharing a lil peace of heaven. our experience was excellent. It met all our expectations. We found the property exactly as it was described to us. The unit was clean and the items in the pantry made our stay more enjoyable. The beach was clean and great for walking. We would definitely stay there again. We ate at Gaidos which we highly recommend, the seafood was fixed to perfection.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We visit Galveston regularly for our business and had previously rented at this condo complex many times. Really liked the complex and the location is great for quick trips to town for shopping, sightseeing and dining out.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Immediate escape to the sound and feel of the waves, the sand and the many waterbirds. The sound of the surf and the breeze coming through the bedroom windows in the morning when the weather is cool is is so refreshing! We really like to cook out at the beach or at the bbq grills and then eat dinner with friends on the balcony.
