We have been to Aventura 4 times. Despite the recent changes there, it is still an excellent value. I would recommend spending a week, especially during a low season. They have plenty of good restaurants, the service is top notch and management does a good job keeping visitors entertained.

To start with, Syd was a PLEASURE to work with; she responded to our first and every subsequent email promptly. She was able to answer all of our questions and made the planning stage a cinch. We elected to use the unlimited golf option and had no idea how good of a deal that was until we played. First, Syd helped us set up our tee times before we even left for Mexico! We brought both my clubs and my wife's clubs in my bag and the golf course provided a bag for my wife and club storage all week at NO CHARGE! Green fees at the golf course for those who don't have Syd's package are more than DOUBLE Syd's one time golf package price PER ROUND PER COUPLE! In fact, one of the employees suggested we sign up for the palace premier membership because they have a current promotion for unlimited golf for 3 times what Syd charged. When we told him what we paid Syd for unlimited golf he didn't believe us! We stayed in the Moon Grand per Syd's recommendation. The rooms were WAY BIGGER than the ones in Sunshine and Nizuc. And the pools were so much quieter and less crowded. We never waited longer than 5 or 6 minutes for transportation in the lobby area to the other parts of the resort or golf course.Check out time is noon but we weren't scheduled to leave the resort until 3:20pm however one visit to the front desk and we were granted a late 3pm check out. Restaurants have drastically improved since our last visit 10 years ago. Breakfast and lunch were buffet style. The dinners were all excellent. They have a Brazilian steak house that was especially good. The new Italian restaurant at the golf course was also excellent. The Palace Promotion is what really puts this resort over the top. We used our money to have professional pictures by the beach, Couples massage, Jungle Tour and snorkeling, Romantic lobster dinner and upgraded our wine at dinner 2 different times. As part of Syd's palace premier membership we also were entitled to a free mani/pedi and 25 minute back massage EACH! Overall: We were very pleased with our experience at the Moon Palace, staying at the Moon Grand and dealing with Syd. We highly recommend you book with her. It really is a no brainer. Just for giggles we logged onto the Moon Palace website and booking directly with the resort for the same time period was more expensive and did not include the mani/pedi/back massage or unlimited golf. Loved the golf and the beach locale!

We would recommend the sun palace as it is right on the beach and close to amenities. for us, it was the golf that made our stay memorable. we had the cancun riviera golf course to ourselves. it was beautiful. the moon palace course was also nice. the only downer was that the greens at both places had just been worked on in late March, when we were there. despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed the golf, and with it being included in our package, we played every day, it was a great deal! The time share owners were easy to deal with, were very accommodating, and answered our many questions as first timers to VRBO. we definitely would book with them again.

Pool, restaurants, and staff were excellent. Very clean and well-maintained. Owner was very helpful in getting extra's, golf and airport transfers. Would highly recommend resort. Rooms very nice for 2, but we had son with us and found it a little small for 3.

Another Wonderful Trip to the Moon!!!!

Syd's VIP Premier membership is the best. We dropped our luggage off at the airport and had a totally relaxing 10 day vacation after being transported from the airport and enjoying the special check in. The service at the resort was outstanding whether it was at a restaurant, the golf course or at the pool. We are golf lovers so we had the unlimited golf package and played 36 holes a day. We stayed at the golf villas and like the quietness as well as having our own golf cart to travel around the resort. The beach area reserved for premier members was also really nice. We went to the presentation and used the gift to pay for most of an all day excursion to Xcaret. It was wonderful! The 1500.00 is a nice bonus and we used it for the couples romantic massage at the spa, a limo trip back to the airport and a couple of Tequila packages for gifts back home as well as upgrades to our wine selections. This is our fourth year at the Moon and this rental provides the perfect all inclusive golf vacation.

Hi Syd!! You are a wonderful person and it's been a pleasure dealing with you. From the very moment I inquired about using 1 of your weeks, you have been very professional as well as exceptionally personable. There was a problem with missing passports 30 hrs before we were suppose to leave (this was also during the weekend and I could not get ahold of anyone at the Moon Palace) and all I had to do was send you an email, and you were more than happy to help me. You called the Moon and postponed my stay and did your very best to reassure me that things would work out . You answered all my emails in a timely manner and was always there to offer advice as to what to do there and what to avoid. I know I can be a pain in asking so many questions, but I never once got the feeling from you that I was bothering you with any questions, but instead felt as though you were there to assist me with having the most amazing experience I could possibly have. (And I did have the most amazing experience)!!!! We had a wonderful time, great view and were spoiled beyond belief!! I am so please with the experience I have had with you that I have told everyone I know that if they are planning a trip, to definetely use you!!! I plan on using you in the near future as well as bringing friends along this time!!! I would recommend you to anyone who is planning a trip. My husband & I stayed at the Beach Palace. It was our "babymoon" trip. The trip also coincided with my birthday. The staff we delightful, we still keep in contact with a few of them. The staff threw me a mini birthday party up at the rooftop bar with balloons, streamers, a cake and a slew of non-alcoholic drinks (since I was pregnant). This was the best vacation we have ever taken. We have traveled the world and can't wait to go back to Cancun & stay at the Palace Resorts. Now that we have a little one with us, we'll be staying at the more kid friendly resorts, but we KNOW that they will be just as wonderful. Syd was also absolutely wonderful in planning this trip. She answered all of my questions and e-mailed me when we got back to ensure we had a fabulous time. WE DID!!!!

Syd was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was prompt in answering all my questions. I feel she went above and beyond to make this a truly wonderful experience for my family. We stayed at the Moon Palace for 10 days over Thanksgiving and truly felt like Kings and Queens the whole time. We were taken care of no matter when, where or why while we were there, even down to a wheelchair for my clumsy butt while at Chitchen Itza. Thanks Syd for our best vacation yet. Transaction with you was timely and easy. We stayed at the Cancun Palace and it was everything we expected. The property is beautiful and the jacuzzi room was a nice touch. The food was better than decent. Free excursions and free stay for our kids, free pick up and drop off from airport and free call to the U.S., really saved us a lot of money. I am so happy that I bought a week for Aventura Spa Palace from Syd. The entire process was so easy. The resort was gorgeous and getting our free spa services was easy. My daughter and I just spent a week at Moon Palace for her high school graduation trip and it was incredible!! The food,entertainment,spa,pools and staff were unbelievable. Everything about this place get an A+++++. Sydney the vacation owner was very helpful and her rates were great. She sent me a packet before our trip that gave all the info that you would ever need about the vacation. She was fabulous!! If you are thinking about booking through her DO IT! My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at the Aventura Palace and had a wonderful time. This resort is for adults only and the atmosphere is beautiful. There is no beach at this resort but the X-Pu Ha Resort is very close and they have a very nice beach. It is a must to take a visit to the X-pu Ha...very interesting. We were originally booked at the Moon Palace but we changed to the Adventura Palace since The Moon Palace was geared more to families. We do enjoy nice dinners and found the Adventura Palace Resort restaurants and service were excellent. The food was gourmet! Bring your work out clothes since they have a great gym and you will need it with all that food. Don't forget to get your massage. You will enjoy it so much you might go back for another one. If you are celebrating an anniversary, I highly recommend the Adventura Palace. The owner Sydney is delightful and so informative. Any time I had a question, she got back to me right away. Enjoy!
