Maison Vigneronne is a great vacation home for a couple or family. We were there with our son and daughter in-law and cooked at home every day. The home is cozy, occupying the upper floor of a two-story home (there was no one downstairs while we were there). The setting of the home is spectacular with vineyards on two sides and a great view al the way to Mount Hood. The owners are very gracious and even supplied us with a cooler for picnics which is now available for all their guests. The landscaping around the home is really lovely and we practically lived on the view deck and also enjoyed the upper patio with fire pit almost every night (firewood provided, a nice touch). The home is well set back from the busy highway and there are miles of back roads to hike with vineyards around almost every turn. The location was perfect for visiting some very well-known wineries and is close to Dundee and Newberg. Upon arrival we were very pleased with the decor and the overall cleanliness of the home. We hope to return again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.
Owner response: George and Mary, Thank you for your thoughtful and lovely review. We look forward to your next visit! Best Regards, Paula and Robert

We (4 of us-2 couples, all in our 30s) stayed for 2 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was our home base for a day of wine tasting, and it was an ideal home base. From the beautiful hardwood floors, to the spectacular views, we definitely picked the right place. The house was warm and inviting, but still with enough space to give us all privacy. The location is ideal as well, about a 5 minute drive from central Dundee, where you can get coffee and enjoy good local dining. The views were definitely our favorite part of the house, and I would love to come back in spring or summer to get to enjoy them from one of the outside decks.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We all enjoyed our stay at your lovely home. From the minute we opened the front door, we knew we had made the perfect choice for our visit. The house was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and the right size for 6 adults. The view from the deck is gorgeous and the front yard is like a park. We had a couple people in our group who had never been to Oregon and they fell in love! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting OR wine country. We hired a limo to go tasting and were pleased at how centrally located we were to the wineries we visited. We drove to Dayton for a more casual meal at a burger place on Saturday afternoon and enjoyed the ice cream shop/antique store around the corner. The Dundee Bistro was fantastic for a Sunday lunch. All of us want to come back....Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This house is absolutely perfect. Was traveling with another couple. The views on the internet do not do the place justice. We used the house as a base of "Operation" for 5 days. There are so many wineries in the area, it is almost impossible to pick. Our breakfast was always at the house, but we could not resist having lunch and sometime dinner in the immediate area. (Though there was one night with a couple of expensive bottles of wine and steak on their deck) Lovely flowers welcomed us, and beautiful sunsets and sunrises kept our attention. You will not regret your stay there!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

I organized a family vacation with 6 adults (not all couples) and an 18 month old. The house was beautiful, extremely comfortable and well equipped, and the house and property were exactly as described. The posted pictures don't, and probably can't, do the property and surroundings justice. It was a breath taking view. We walked the property grounds and surrounding back roads every day. It was so very peaceful. We picked fresh herbs from the garden, wild flowers from the roadside, and fruit from the trees. At night we sat by the firepit, on the deck, or in the living room/dining area. Extremely comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The property owners were extremely friendly and even helped coordinate a few toddler friendly items for my travel convenience. I would definitely stay at this property again, and each of my 5 relatives said the same thing. We left sad to go home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your review. I understand how you felt at the end of your stay, as that is how we feel everytime we leave regardless of the time of year. We live in Laguna Beach with a fabulous view....yet we really relax and enjoy the simple things in life when we are in our Oregon home.

Absolutely a marvelous place, nicely appointed in wine country decor. Beds are comfortable. The grounds are perfectly manicured and Paula and Robert, the owners, were a pleasure to deal with. The well appointed kitchen was perfectly equiped so we could enjoy some great meals. Hope to stay here again. It was magic. The location was right next to the best wineries in Oregon. Perfect in every way.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

My husband and I stayed at Maison Vigneronne in September 2011. It was the perfect retreat in a wonderful town. The home is spacious and clean with beautiful views in a vineyard setting. We plan on going back again soon as the area is so hospitable and we would definitely stay at Maison Vigneronne again. We've already recommended this home to several friends!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We just returned from celebrating the New Year at this lovely home. This is our first experience with VRBO and we are delighted. The owners of Maison Vigneronne have put their hearts and souls into providing a warm, peaceful, lovely environment. The home is very well appointed and everything for our comfort was supplied. New Year's Eve, we prepared a beautiful prime rib dinner with all the trimmings in the gourmet kitchen. Then, enjoyed our meal in the lovely dining room with with friends, and welcomed 2012 with a toast in front of the large wood burning fireplace. We especially enjoyed each evening by fireplace while we enjoyed a wine selection found earlier in the day at a local winery. The grounds are beautiful and enjoyable to walk, with outstanding views wherever we looked. We highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Paula and Robert live in Laguna Beach, California and enjoy good food and wine. We travel extensively ourselves and enjoy experiencing new places including the unique wines and food of the location.
Why the Owner Chose Dundee:
Our daughter, her husband and our grandson moved to Oregon several years ago and every time we would visit them, we thought about getting a second home in the area. Our grand daughter was born two years ago and we thought about it even more.
Finally we found the ideal location our Maison Vigneronne - vineyard home. Now we have a place to stay when we visit and a place to share with others who enjoy the beauty of Oregon and the fine wine and food produced there.
