    ADAM MCVEIGH Apr 24 This was our first time to Cap Cana; in fact our first visit to the Dominican. It was fantastic. We were well taken care of from the time we arrived to the moment we got in our taxi to the airport. The condo was exactly as described and exactly what we were looking for. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The living area was perfectly appointed, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. There was even free WiFi available. The Aquamarina beach was nicely groomed and relaxing. If you're looking for the Spring Break crowds, look elsewhere. We never had a problem getting covered chairs at the beach, and the Api Beach bar and grill made the best ron ponch. The water was picture postcard perfect. Francisco Castillo, the concierge, was extremely attentive. Whenever we had a question, he would answer his phone and provide us with great information. He was indispensable. A few random thoughts: The area where Aquamarina is located was very well kept and safe. The pizza from the market next to Il Cappucino is fabulous! When traveling outside Cap Cana, make sure you clarify the cost of a taxi ride up front. Overall a wonderful trip.... We're already in serious discussions about when we can return!

    We returned to this property because it is second to none the most luxurious, well equipped, home away from home we have enjoyed. If you like to swim in the ocean, this is the place. Quiet, aquamarine waters and plenty of privacy. The owner personally stays in touch during long stays like ours (10 weeks) to see that every aspect is outstanding, and is represented by a personal manager at cap cana. We enjoy the activity at the Marina, and several excellent restaurants in a short walking distance, but we do eat in frequently. The kitchen is equipped with anything you could need, and a good supermarket is 10 minutes driving. The condo is very beautifully decorated, furnishings very comfortable, and it is clean clean, and fresh. We have enjoyed this owner's hospitality here as well as another wonderful condo he has in Caberete, and and both properties are outstanding. See you soon!

    We stayed in this wonderful condo for a few nights and absolutely loved it. The owner and representative were incredibly friendly and responsibly. We loved the area and will definitely recommend this condo and area to people who want peace & quiet

    He utilizado en varias ocasiones la pagina de VRBO para las vacaciones con mi familia. Siempre nos ha ido muy bien. Sinembargo, para esta ocasión, quise escribir estas lineas para compartir nuestra experiencia en este Condo de Cap Cana. El condo es espectacular. La dotación es impecable y de excelente calidad. Aquamarina es un sitio muy lindo que bien vale la pena conocer. Muy exclusivo, tranquilo y con muchas actividades para realizar. La atención de Jhonny y la hospitalidad de Francisco nos hicieron sentir mejor que en casa. Ojala podamos algún día regresar y volver a disfrutar de este sitio tan especial.

    The property is beautiful and it is rare when the actual experience is 100 times better then the reviews or your expectations. Our trip was perfect, from the minute we booked we were given incredible service by both Johnny and the property manger, Francisco. The photos of this property are only half the story, the condo is immaculate with comfortable furniture and nothing is missing. The unit is located in an idyllic setting and we could walk everywhere. We did have a rental car, but wouldn't have needed it. There are great beaches, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The concierge and staff are exceptional.

    We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Johnny's beautiful Aquamarina condo in May/June 2012. As described, it is beautifully appointed, clean and has a gorgeous view of the marina. The kitchen had every conceivable tool and appliance while the bedrooms had comfortable beds and nice linens. The bathrooms featured plenty of fluffy towels. In terms of location, please take the advice of others reviewing this property and plan on renting a car. Cap Cana is basically a planned residential and resort area encompassing many square miles and the marina area is at least a 15 minute drive from the airport and any substantial shopping. Unfortunately, at least at the time of year we visited, many of the stores in the marina area were closed or out of business. There is a small convenience store/sandwich shop/ice cream store for basic necessities with a short walk of the condo. There were also two very good restaurants within the same complex, Aquamare and Il Cappucino (our favorite). The best grocery shopping was right near the airport at the Nacional supermarket. Although it is a 15 minute drive, it is easy to get to and they have a good selection of everything plus they take credit cards! In the same shopping center as the supermarket, there are several other restaurants (the Mexican one was good) plus other shops. In terms of other Cap Cana restaurants, We wanted to go to Blue Marlin at the Sanctuary Hotel but hit it on a night it was closed, call first. But don't miss La Palapa at the Caleton Beach Club. A little pricey but the views over the beach and water are to die for and the food is wonderful. Spend a day at the Caleton Beach Club. They had a great deal going where the $30/person entry fee could be used as a credit for drinks from the beach bar or for a massage. The beach is very nice as is the pool (although we liked the pools at the Aquamarina better) and the service was exceptional. Also make sure you spend a day at Juanillo Beach. It is so beautiful and just a few minutes from the condo. Most of the time we were the only ones there enjoying drinks and food from the small bar/restaurant while lounging on the beach chairs. Perfect! But even more perfect are the two pools just a two minute walk from your condo door. Very few people and beautifully maintained. No operating swimup bar though :( The beach just beyond is fine for a dip but there was a fair amount of seaweed. We enjoyed looking for sea life among the rocks. We will be back!

    We stayed at Johnny's condo for the month of March, 2012. From the moment we entered the condo lobby, we were impressed by the quality, spaciousness and appropriate decor of this fine condo. Francisco met us at the reception centre and gave us a thorough and helpful introduction to the condo and the marina facilites. The condo is well laid out and comfortable. The very spacious patio was a favourite place for dining and relaxing. The trade winds off the patio made the airconditioning unnecessary most times.We particularily enjoyed the three pools at the marina, which were only minutes away from the condo and have stunning ocean views. The pools were never crowded during our stay there and the attendants were always helpful and polite. (Our five year old grandsons loved the pools, were excited to go there every day and leaned to swim during thier vacation.) The marina itself is first quality, beautifully landscaped with high end facilities and good security. We always felt very safe at the marina and enjoyed the quiet, peaceful environment there. Cap Cana itself is a very large complex, with fabulous golf courses and hotels on the site. Cap Cana is only ten minutes from the airport but is isolated from the tourist area of Punta Cana itself. If you are planning a longer stay a rental car is strongly recommended. We highly recommend Johnny's condo as a place to enjoy a relaxing and laid back type of holiday. Exra points of interest. * The supermercado near the airoprt is the closest and carries a good selection of North American foods. * The hospital at Punta Cana is modern and on a par with North American service and standards!

    We stayed at this condo in aquamarina for Jan and Feb of 2012. This is a first class five star experience from the beginning to end. It provided upscale elegance with all the conveniences of home, with the interest of the Marina, and the beauty of the beach. The size and furnishings of the outdoor living areas are outstanding, and of course we spent most of our time there, or on beach. Inside was tastefully equipped with everything we could desire. Comfortable attractive furniture, good beds(,king in master, 2 queens in guest), fresh quality linens, more than enough China, silver,and serving pieces and glassware for entertaining. Big flat screens in both bedrooms and living room, Dvd and Cd player, in unit laundry, stainless appliances, granite, stone etc. All fine finishes. When the manager opened the unit for us, the only smell was fresh air and clean. Property manager was only a phone call away for help with anything you might need - and there was also always a concierge in the lobby to make arrangements for a car, or excursions all the time. Use the Cap Cana shuttle, which the concierge will arrange to visit the many other beaches and restaurants There is also a schedule of entertainments which we reveived by email from the owner. In Aquamarina there are several excellent restaurants to walk to, and a convenient store. We especially enjoyed the beach for its privacy and serenity. There were Plenty of chaises and shade. The beach was also raked daily. The owner contacted us at intervals to be sure everything was satisfactory, as did his agent. Maid service was affordable and extremely thorough, including laundry if you like. For people looking for a private, exclusive get away I would recommend this situation without hesitation.

    Everything is excellent. Your condo is so nice. Mrs. Perez has chosen such beautiful decor, and the condo is equipped with everything we could need, and all is of such nice quality. The Marina view is interesting, and we go to the beach and pool everyday. The weather has been fine, and Francisco checks in to see how we are doing. He has been most helpful.     There are no words to explain the relaxation that I experienced here in this place..we stayed for a week, my wife and my two kids, and they also loved it…first of all the condo is lovely and cozy, the view is amazing, and the beaches are out of this world…..and if you are a golfer like me, I have not seen till then the most beautiful scenery while golfing in this magnificent course, every hole is a postcard picture, don’t forget to bring your camera….walking distance to beach and pool and shops in the Marina, 5 star restaurants with the most delicious food (for kids also) Italian, Seafood, Meats, you name it!!! In the week I was there played golf 3 times and my wife didn’t even miss me once, she would go to Caleton Beach and enjoy everything they offer, 5 star service pool side and beach side, we couldn’t ask for more….cap cana was a great choice for a relaxing vacation, minutes from the airport and everything we needed in the complex, can’t emphasize more how much we enjoyed it…..we´ll be back!!

    Es una de los escapes romanticos mas bonitos que he tenido. Me encanto la privacidad y la atmosfera de paz que se respira en el entorno. Los paisajes son espectaculares y la naturaleza y su diversidad, ni hablar. El Condo esta de lo mas chic y muy bien equipado.

    Amazing view of the marina, the condo have everything you find in a five star hotel or resort. Top quality furnishers. Amenities were excellent, the golf course was out of this world. Can't wait to go back.

    We were staying in this Condo last November - the place exceeded our expectations - bright, modern, beautifully decorated and furnished. We loved a great patio overlooking the marina... Swimming pool area and an amazing beach is only short walk away (2 mins)... and you feel like you are in paradise... Hopefully we will have a chance to stay in this condo again.
