What an absolute perfect getaway! The pictures and description of the home are correct...it really is that cozy and warm. This home is located walking distance to the rec center that offers a family a refreshing retreat when you are done at the beach (which the property shuttle gets you to and from very easily). I would highly recommend this vacation home for anyone wishing to get away. The owners are very kind and answer any questions you may have very quickly via email. Definitely coming back again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful with our family!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Our stay at this property in Bethany Beach was one we will always remember and hope to repeat in the years to come. Our family has not taken a family type vacation in many years as our children are grown and we are into the grandparent stage. We decided try Delaware on the recomendation of a friend who had stayed at this property. We were so delighted - the home was cozy, well cared for, close to everything and we got to use the amenities offered by the Bear Trap Dunes golf course during our stay. We not only enjoyed the beach but were able to make use of a beautiful pool every day. A notebook full of restaurant locations and things to do was available at the home and was of great use ot us during our stay. There were bikes, kids sand toys, beach chairs - etc left for our use during our stay. I can honestly say this was the best vacation experience we have had in years and a very welcomed chance to relax, enjoy and just be. Thank you to the owners.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

We are a young family and our stay was excellent. There are many things to do inside of the community and the hustle and bustle of the beach is a short drive or shuttle ride away. The house and community are well maintained and I would recommend this home to anyone.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We stayed at the house from July 16-23. The decorations and furnishings were wonderful! We had an excellent time and really enjoyed the community amenities as well. About the owner: Jay and Carey have 4 active children who keep them very busy with various sporting events - as coaches and fans - throughout the year. Jay enjoys golfing, running, and watching ESPN Sports in his free time. Carey ejoys playing tennis and jogging. Jay & Carey grew up spending family vacations at the Jersey shore each summer. They have fallen in love with the Delaware beaches, and enjoy spending as much time as they can at their home in Bear Trap Dunes.

Jay and Carey Garvey bought their townhome in Bear Trap Dunes because it is a great place to 'escape' with their 4 children for some R&R. The many community activities (pools, tennis courts, golf course, playground) make it a wonderful retreat year-round. Jay & Carey decorated and equipped their home with all of the ammenities that they look for when vacationing with their family. They love their picturesque location - overlooking a pond and the 2nd teebox of the Black Bear course. Hopefully, others will enjoy the beauty and comfort of our home too.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Our home is unique in that we offer 2 bedrooms with king beds. We also equip the 3rd bedroom with 2 twins and 2 trundles - no bunkbeds - and a video gaming system and childrens books and videos. Finally, we have often enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our deck in the shade provided by our retractable awning. Our guests have also enjoyed taking advantage of the 6 bikes and beach chairs we leave in the garage for them, and the large DVD & paperback 'library' we have. We also have the ability to provide bed linens for a nominal fee.
