You and your family will love evenings on the back deck with the gulf breeze blowing or just relaxing on the screened porch. Watch the sun set or fish on the pier on our subdivisions deeded bay lot after a full day on the beach.
Our house is tiled throughout with wide open space. The master bedroom has a king bed and its own bath with back door to the deck. The second bedroom has a full sized bed and there are 2 rollaways. There is a sofa sleeper in the living room.
Put the dog in the fenced yard and let him/her stretch its legs. Then go enjoy all the things Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan have to offer. Don't forget to visit historic Fort Morgan or take the ferry over to Dauphin Island and visit the Sea Lab.
For larger families, at an additional cost, there is a separate downstairs apartment , that cannot be accessed from upstairs, and is only rented to the same family that is renting upstairs, that will accomodate 2 adults.
We provide a golf cart for you to take to the beach. (Golf cart to be used only by licensed drivers)

We had 12 people in our group and the house/apartment/and little shack were perfect for this size. You have seperate living areas and you are not on top of everyone. Each area has it's own little kitchen which is great. However, you are a solid 3-4 blocks from the beach. They do provide a golf cart which is wonderful, but if you want right on the beach, this is not the place for you. We had a fun trip.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

Wow! Cannot express in words how perfect this house was for our family! Chris and Donna were very accommodating and helpful. Our pets loved the doggy doors and fenced yard. The house had everything we needed and more. It was immaculately cleaned and maintained. The screened in porch has a huge dining table that my family loved to have dinners at in the evening. The golf cart was perfect for my parents to get back and forth to the beach. It was an amazing time of rest and family time. Thank you Chris and Donna, I hope you let us come back even though we broke two ceiling fans. : )Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house met our #1 criteria - it was impeccably clean. The house met our #2 criteria - very comfortable and spacious. The screened in porch was so nice. As for dog friendly, the doggie doors allowed our dog to go out to the screened porch, then optionally from the screened porch to the deck. The dog loved it! The back yard was fenced, but our dog is rather small (12 lb.) and could fit through the slats in the wood portions of the fence, so we did have to keep an eye on her. The beach was a bit of a walk (quarter mile), but the the dog liked the walk. The Golf cart was VERY handy to get us to the beach with all our stuff. And the beach was VERY private! If you want to be directly on the beach, this place may not be exactly what you are looking for, but that would be the ONLY drawback. The house, the downstairs apartment, and the overflow cottage are all considered separate entities for the rental, so if you need them you may have to pay more. We only needed the house, but the owners showed us the apartment and the cottage - they are small but ideal for privacy. This house was ideal for us, and we will go back!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, age 55+, families with young children.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. The house was even better than described and it was super convenient to have a fenced in hard for the dogs. My mom loved using the screened in porch to eat her breakfast in and the golf cart proved invaluable to get around as it was so hot during our stay. Thank you again for providing dog (and people!) friendly accommodations in such a lovely location.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This attractive home is spacious, beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. My husband, children and grandchildren stayed here for a wonderful week. There are lots of places for you to get away to if you want to be alone or to share in group activities. The golf cart was perfect for the short rides to the beach and bay. This house is about half way between Gulf Shores and Fort Morgan which was great for us because it was away for the congestion of Gulf Shores and was a short ride to Fort Morgan and the ferry ride to Dauphin Island. The owners are warm and accomodating. We could not have asked for a nicer week at Gulf Shores and I would not hesitate to recommend this rental.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with young children.

About the owner: We have 4 children and 9 grandchildren and they love visiting us. We have 2 dogs and they are beach bums. We build houses for a living.
Why the Owner Chose Homes, Single Family:
We bought our house here because our daughter moved here in 2002 with our first grandchild and when we were visiting here almost every weekend and we fell in love with it. We love the peace and quiet of Fort Morgan and our subdivision is so laid back and such a fun place to be.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our street dead ends at the beach ( a short walk 0.3 mile) and if we cross over Fort Morgan we are on our access lot to Mobile Bay. We love to walk down the beach to the wildlife preserve and pick up shells or just sit and watch the water. Sunsets are beautiful from the beach or bay.
