  The house's location is excellent! There is a path behind it that leads right to the beach, which made it very convenient. The house itself is very neat, spacious, and comfortable. The wraparound decks were our favorite part; being able to hear the surf from inside the living room with the deck doors open was a very relaxing experience. Needless to say, at the end of the week we were all reluctant to leave.

  The house was great! Loved the location next to the pool and short walk to the beach. We would definitely want to stay there again if we vacation at Litchfield.

  The house and easy access to the pool and beach were everything we expected from the listing. There were 11 of us, including grandchildren ages 12 yrs, 9yrs and 19 mos. The master suite was very private. The open floor plan upstairs was so nice, especially the two separate seating areas. Being so close to the pool was quite convenient, and noise was not a problem because the pool was never crowded. There are lots of places to eat close by. Our favorites were the Hanser House and Pawleys Island Tavern. From seafood to pizza, there is something for everyone! The owner was very attentive to our questions and concerns prior to the stay and always responded promptly. We were all sad to be leaving on Saturday morning. The week passed much too quickly! We will return!

  My daughters and their families and I enjoyed a fabulous week at this well-appointed comfortable home. Lots of space for family gatherings. Location is everything here, the pool steps away and the ocean just beyond that. Enjoy the sound of the surf, while you sip coffee on one of the great wrap-around decks. Litchfield is a gem with beautiful beaches and lots of meandering bike paths within the resort. I look forward to a return visit.

  The house in Charlestowne Grant was clean, beautiful and steps away from the pool and ocean. A great location surrounded by beautiful homes and trails, etc. The owner was great to work with and was always quick to respond with our questions. Thank you for making our vacation with 3 young children as easy as possible and fun for all. We will definitely return!

  I retired eleven years ago and went to Litchfield for the first time. My wife and I were very impressed with the outstand community and we decided to rent a house and invite all the family down to enjoy this exceptional place. A frined suggested that we rent the Southern Comfort because some members of their family had rented it and found it to be idealy located and with a fine view of the ocean. We took their advice and our children and grandchildren look forward to staying there every year. We have rented the Southern Comfort for the past 10 years and it is now a tradition with our grandchildren who look forward staying there every year. They feel quite possessive about the Southern Comfort and I hope to continue this tradition for many years to come. It is a beautiful facility!!!

  We had a wonderful time. The listing description was very accurate and we got exactly what we were led to believe. The house is extremely well maintained and very clean, and the owner very helpful and responsive. The house was ideal especially location to pool and beach. The pool was great for times that the ocean was too rough. The house, inside and out is beautiful and views from the balconies are great. The living room, kitchen, dining areas are great for families. Plus, the house being inside Litchfield-By-The-Sea provides easy access to bike trails, tennis courts etc.. as well as a number of good restaurants. Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington State Park were major attractions for us and they are just a few minutes from this location. I think everyone agreed that this was our best vacation ever and we have been doing this for over 25 years. I really do not have any serious suggestions for improvements. It was a perfect place for our summer vacation.
