  We recently stayed in the house for a family get together. It was spacious and plenty of sleeping room for all (the double bunk beds were awesome for the kids!). The large yard and play structure was a huge plus for the little ones, and the location was easy to find and close to lots of fun things. Hector was very accommodating throughout the whole rental process!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

  We spent Xmas 2011 at the house. The house was great and spacious. The backyard was great. It would have been the perfect spot for my kids to play in if there was snow but they did have fun on the play fort. I loved the fact that the house was child proof. The gate at the top of the stairs, gave me peace of mind for my 3yr old and 1yr old. We loved everything about the house and Hector was great to work with. He responded timely to any questions we had and was always very pleasant. We definately would recommend this house to anyone going to Tahoe. It was also great that it was so close to Heavenly. We took the kids to play in the man made snow. Sending the link now to someone who is renting a house in Tahoe. It was a great Xmas at the Reyes' residence.

  Our family of 8 just returned from our 6th annual visit to this house. Every time we return it feels like it's "our" vacation house at Tahoe. The kitchen is wonderful, well equipped and easy to cook in. Dinner is always out on the deck to watch the beautiful sunsets...when we can pull the guys away from the pool table or hot tub! The bedrooms are all comfy and most have TVs. The backyard really is as big and green as the pics. Our 3 dogs love it out there and we can watch them play from the deck. We can easily walk to the lake or hike up to Heavenly. The house and yard are very well maintained and we will be back again next year for sure. Can't say enough about this great place!

  Our family goes up to Tahoe for a week every year during the summer. We've been staying at this house for the past 5 years and it's a great fit for our family of 8 which includes 4 adult couples and two labs. The home has everything you could want. The layout and space are great and provide plenty of opportunities for everyone to get together for conversation and games. We tend to stand around the big kitchen island to snack and shoot the breeze (and enjoy some drinks). If people want to spread out or get some privacy, they can go to one of the large porches (front and back), retreat to their bedroom with private TV, layout in the backyard, hop in the spa or relax on the sofa and browse the internet. There are plenty of options. The dogs absolutely love the backyard. They sense (smell) the house as soon as we are within a few miles and start going berserk. All they want to do is play fetch or hide and seek in the sprawling backyard that has such lush grass. Another great feature of the house is its location. Sitting a few blocks from the base of Heavenly, you are really close to Stateline and the casinos. But it is very centralized with quick access to major roads that take you to all south Tahoe attractions and activities. We rarely go up in the winter and we don't ski, but if we did, this house would be the best choice given its proximity to Heavenly and all of the other features I've mentioned above. All in all, the house has been a perfect fit for our annual family trip. We will keep coming back.

  Our stay at the Reyes residence in Tahoe was wonderful. The house was well appointed and the room configurations perfect for 3 families (6 adults / 7 kids). It was fabulous putting the kids to bed downstairs and having adult space upstairs without the threat of waking them. The back yard was lots of fun (think kids versus adults snow ball fights), the kitchen better than what we have at home, the pool table provided lots of entertainment and the free wi-fi satisfied those that just couldn't get away from work. We were snowed in on Friday so made the easy trek to the ski lifts by foot. Thanks Hector for opening your home to us. We loved it and will be recommending it to our friends.
