The house is in walking distance of 2 grocery stores and several resturants. The Owner was very pleasant and solved our one problem promptly. The home was clean and the nieghborhood quiet. Will rent again on our next visit.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our September week long visit to Long Beach, was during a mighty hot and humid time! The Bixby Knolls home was spacious, comfortable and enjoyable. An air conditioning unit would have been sweet.Otherwise, the breeze does ventilate throughout. The back covered deck and gardens were delightful. The 'walk- about' Bixby Knolls district has great shops,restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed fresh dragon fruit fresh from the garden. Thank you. .Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

This was a great place to stay for a convention at the convention center! Way better than a hotel room! It was beautiful and well taken care of. The owner was very attentive to our needs. We were allowed to eat the fabulous fresh fruit from the back yard. It was nice to have a fully appointed kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

I would definitely recommend this vacation home! The pictures do not do it justice. We stayed for 2 weeks with our 2 year old daughter and it was perfect. The bedrooms are a great size, the living room great for having visitors, and the huge back porch was perfect for a cookout! The fruit trees in the back yard are so pretty to look at as well. The owner was so attentive to anything we needed, with such a quick and friendly response. There is even a large dining room with a large table and chairs for entertaining! The house is also within walking distance of so many cute restaurants and shops. My husband is from Long Beach and loved the house and its location. This is most definitely where we will stay for future visits!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
