Wailea Ekolu is one of most sought after properties in Wailea as it is nestled on the Wailea Golf Course. The property has a quiet and private atmosphere as the buildings are spread out across the lush tropical foliage. Other than that it was perfect and I would not hesitate to rent again or recommend to anyone. Manager responded on 6/14/2012: We are very sorry that the directions were not clear enough. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location of this particular unit. The location is very quiet and has a great view. As with most properties in Maui, the birds are very noisy in the early morning. Property/development is very well landscaped and maintaned. The unit is very tastfully decorated in an asian decor and the kitchen is very well equiped. The only complaints we have were the toilet seats need to be replaced and the bar stools were very old and needed to be re-upholstered. We appreciated the beach towels, beach chairs etc. Property management handled the pre-arrival logistics in an efficient manner. However, on arrival, there was no greeting or orientation provided. The directions to the complex were only partially correct but we figured out the location of our condo as we have stayed at another condo in the complex previously.Did you find this review helpful? All amenities were top notch, furnishings were very good quality, well maintained property, beautiful view from our lanai. Only two complaints -- our BBQ was not working, but the property mgment company replaced it with a new one the very next day, and we had an unannounced "maintenance" man in our unit when we returned from the beach one day. The mgment company said they would look into this right away. We would not hesitate to book this unit again! Sad to leave paradise....but, we will be back!Did you find this review helpful? Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While we mainly used this townhome for my wife and I plus our son, we also hosted a post wedding brunch. This townhome comfortably hosted a total of 19 people for brunch. Some on the upper lanai enjoying the view, while others sat in the living room checking out the large screen TV. We could also walk to either of the Marriott or the Grand Wailea to enjoy what they each had to offer. We could also walke to Elua beach for some snorkeling.
