The Villages is an active, safe, gated, and patrolled community. Twenty-two Free Executive Golf Courses, Nine Championship Golf Courses, includes courses designed by Arnold Palmer and by Nancy Lopez. Numerous Shopping Stores, Restaurants, and Recreational Facilities in the Community.
The Villages is a golf cart community with numerous scenic and well marked golf cart trails affording access throughout the community. Included in your Villa rental is a Golf Cart. It is a gas golf cart equipped with headlights/turn-signals and roll up side curtains for your comfort on an evening ride, or in the case of a rain shower. The golf cart includes a 24hr/7 day emergency towing and repair service.
Included in your rental are two photo ID cards that afford you all of the same access and privileges as if you were residents. This includes access to resident only restaurants, recreation centers and activities, the numerous country clubs and of course free golf on the 22 Executive golf courses and reduced greens fees on the 9 Championship courses.
Other Activities include a Driving Range, Bowling, Softball, Pickle Ball, Racquet Ball, Billiards, Polo, Crafts, Bridge, Scrabble, Bocce Ball and over 300 Scheduled Activities per week. Think of all the new friends you will meet.

The Unique Benefits at this House
We love the diversity of The Villages. You can be laid back and enjoy the weather and pools or you can jump right into the unbelievably numerous amount of activities and clubs. It is a little over an hour away from Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World, but it is a great joy when the kids and grand-kids visit and we visit the parks.
The free nightly entertainment in the two squares is a great place to relax and enjoy the music and company at the end of the day.
I confess I don't golf, but our friends and family that visit can't believe the number of golf courses within The Villages and most of them are free.
Nightly entertainment, movie theater, bowling center, restaurants and shopping.

I am a retired Police Lieutenant from Maine. I inherited the home from my mom in 2004 and renovated it with repairs, new carpeting, appliances and electronics. We are renting the property until we can fully retire and move there to enjoy The Villages full-time. (not soon enough).

Hi Art, Just thought I would drop you a line and let you know how things are going. Your place here is really nice, the wife and I are have been enjoying our stay a lot. This is quite the place,(the Village) It reminds me of the movie Cocoon especially when I go to the pool. Everyone seem so happy and so involved in something. We went to Mardi Gras the other night, the place was packed. Your home here is very nice and we feel quite at home. I did have one problem that I might mention. When I was using the DVD player I noticed a bowl sitting on top of it so naturally I reached inside to find a big fat stuffed rat. I told my wife that at least we know Art has a sense of humor. As much as we are enjoying ourselves we will have to let you know about next year. How much time do you need for us to let you know about coming back here. Well that is about it I guess, Just thought I would let you know that we are enjoying ourselves thanks to the nice accommodations.
