Location: Four O'Clock Lodge, Four O'Clock, Breckenridge, Northwest, Colorado, USA (95 miles from Denver Airport, short walk to lift and town) View Map

Accommodations:  Condo, Studio + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2)

Keywords:  Studio Condominium

Recently remodeled studio condominium on Four O'clock Road. Elegance, comfort, and value in the best location in Breckenridge. Liston to Tenmile Creek right outside the window in summer. Ski to your door and walk to the lift in winter. End unit offers more light (extra windows). Wireless high-speed internet. Granite countertops. Great audio and video with a flatscreen HDTV, DVD/CD player, and home theater receiver with iPod dock (just bring your iPod). Woodburning fireplace.

Walk to the Snowflake ski lift (about 100 yards). Ski back to your door for lunch and at the end of the day. Great views: large windows face woods and mountain stream for a rustic feel (no roads or parking lots in view). Ample parking on premises. New kitchen, bathroom, appliances, furniture. Full-size Lazy Boy sofa with comfortable queen airbed (more comfortable and provides more living space than a Murphy bed). Down comforter. Short walk to town and Main Street shopping. Sauna and laundry in building.

Note: this unit sleeps 2. While it's fine if you want to squeeze another on the floor on an air mattress, the only bed is the queen sleeper sofa, so please don't expect to fit multiple couples.

2009/2010 SEASON UPDATE: The Upper Village Pool just had a complete remodel, to include indoor/outdoor swim access, two hot tubs, heated sidewalks, and an all-around makeover.

This studio condominium is great in the summer and fall, when Ten Mile Creek thaws and you can see and hear it right outside your window. A beautiful quiet time for hiking and biking, or walk to town or the music tent down the hill for summer concerts. Hundreds of miles of trails accessible right from the condo. No crowds, cool air, and reduced prices on dining and shopping in the off season.

Here's what a previous satisfied guest had to say:
"This was a fantastic stay, in a fantastic condo with a fantastic host.

I can't say enough about this condo's magnificent location -- The
snowflake lift is just across the street and you can ski-in, right to
your doorstep!

The condo is in beautiful condition with a great kitchen with
everything you need. The widescreen HD LCD TV and sound system makes
your cozy bed a home theater! Add in the wireless internet and the
iPod/laptop audio sound system integration makes this place a real find.

The owner, Ned, is a real stand-up guy that went above-and-beyond for
us. We have used different owner-rented vacation rentals over the years
(a half-dozen times or more). It can be a bit nerve-wracking renting a
condo direct from the owner, but Ned made the experience a dream.

We have been to Breck many times over the years, but this was, by far,
the best stay we have had.

We will be coming back, Ned! Thanks again and see you soon :)

"Best VRBO Homeowner in Town

Ned is hands down, the easiest person I have worked with in finding a place to rent. You all know how some people can be difficult, and are looking out for their own personal interests as opposed to the renters? Well, for this property, you will not have those concerns. As an honest man, Ned works to give the customer the best options available on his beautiful studio. Once you work with Ned and see his amazing studio and its location, you will not want to rent any other studio in Breck ever again. Ned, thanks for helping my friends and I have a wonderful time experiencing Breckenridge.

Why the Owner Chose Four O'Clock Lodge

I think Breckenridge is the perfect combination of great mountain, great town, and convenience to Denver and its major airport. When I found this particular condo, right near the Snowflake lift and a short walk from the center of town, I knew it was perfect and I made an offer before the weekend was over.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

Close to town, close to a lift, ski-in--this location is terrific. The creek outside is fantastic in the spring and summer. It's just a short walk from the center of Main Street and lots of great restaurants. In the spring and summer, I love the back deck at the Kenosha Steakhouse, which has good brews and barbeque. You can also walk to a sporting goods shop for ski and bike rentals: Lone Star Sports, right at the bottom of the hill.

A
Snowflake Lift

Takes you onto the mountain where you can choose to ski to the base of Peak 8 or Peak 9. Lift tickets are available here.

B
Upper Village Pool and Hot Tub

Available year-round (covered in winter) for guest use.

C
Music Tent

Site of the summer music festival, and lots of room to play near the river.

D
Lone Star Sports

Ski and bike rentals and sales. You can even ski right to it from Four O'Clock Run.

Owner's Map of Four O'Clock Lodge

I left my job in Minnesota and moved to Colorado in 1999 to ski and mountain-bike. After a few years in Breckenridge, I took a regular job again and moved to the Denver area, although I still get up as often as I can.

Awesome!

Date of Stay: 01/21/11 Review Submitted: 02/06/11

My fiance and I were thrilled with our accommodations! "Cozy" is how we describe this unit. It was always toasty warm and the location to the lift was amazing and taking the 4 O'Clock run from top to condo was the perfect way to end our day of skiing. The condo was clean, kitchen well equipped, laundry room was right below us and plenty of space for storing our ski equipment. After spending $33 for lunch on Peak 8 and having to eat in the locker room because we could not get a table we came "home" for lunch each day. I had concerns about the air bed but it was comfortable - we will offer a sleeping tip - we felt like our heads were going downhill when we slept so after watching TV we flipped and put our heads at the opposite end and everything was perfect! We have already looked into renting in this building again - the location was so perfect - but next time we will be with our 4 girls and will need a bigger unit - but if it is just the two of us we will be back in our "little slice of heaven". Thanks Ned for renting such a great place.

Breckenridge January 2011

My brother and I stayed in this unit for 2 weeks from Jan 2 thru Jan 15th. This place is awesome. It was well equipped and the location is SWEET. I hope to book this place again and again. It was clean and laid out well. There are a host of restaurants and shops close by. Also there is a rental and tuning shop right up the street by the Snowflake Lift along with a place to get your lift tickets. I recommend this to all who need a studio type condo close to everything and don't forget one can ski right into the back yard.

Easiest homeowner to work with in Breck

Guest: EJ and Nicole (Denver, CO)
Date of Stay: 08/13/10 Review Submitted: 09/08/10

We have stayed at other places in Breckenridge as well as at this condo many times and have found Ned to be the easiest homeowner to work with by far. Ned has always returned our e-mails and/or calls promptly and has worked with us to make sure our stay is what we expect. It is not the fanciest condo in Beckenridge by any means but it is comfortable and Ned makes the stay enjoyable. He is an honest person and thoroughly enjoyable to work with.
