You’ll love the location of this charming, two-bedroom bungalow in downtown Saugatuck! Tucked at the end of a dead end street, you’ll be just a block from all the excitement of town without any of the traffic or noise. The home also has a pullout sofa and chair, so you have extra space for more guests. Enjoy the hot tub if you are more interested in relaxing at home than going out, or walk down the street to one of the many restaurants and shops downtown. Sleeps 7. Pet-friendly - $75 fee.
**Note: Building west of the house is the back/side of the Saugatuck Center for the Arts. The building blocks out a lot of downtown noise, and the entrance is on the other side, so there isn't a ton of noise or traffic from the Center either.

Spent a long weekend in Saugatuck with a party of four (five counting Abbie, my little Cairn terrier) and the location could not have been better. A block from downtown shops/bars/restaurants, it was very convenient both day and night. The fenced yard and adjacent lot were perfect for Abbie. The home itself was a nice space, and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. It was well stocked, appointed, and maintained, and I wouldn't hesitate staying there again. On a separate note, if you're looking for a great meal, avoid the waterfront places and head straight to Phil's Bar and Grill. We ate there two of four nights, and probably should have done all four there!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
Owner response: So glad you enjoyed your stay!

What can I say but: PERFECT!! Clean, Cute, Spacious... Great Location and it really is...Quiet! Access to wonderful downtown...everything within walking distance and food, fun and galleries at your finger tips! Michigan delivered with great weather and Oval Beach with sugary sands! That was the icing on the cake! My husband is in a wheel chair and except for the front step and a few grab bars you could list this as accessible...inside was so easy with his chair. The owner stopped by to use some parking space on a weekend night...they were kind, pleasant and a pleasure to meet! You could tell they were genuine about wanting you to be comfortable and happy with your choice! The management company also responded quickly to a hot tub call. Thanks to all for making our family welcomed and pampered on our first of many visits to your AWESOME town and beautiful state!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

I really liked this place! It was bigger than I thought, and it actually has two bathrooms with the backyard totally fenced in for privacy. Location was great - last house at a dead end. We went next door to a concert at the Art's Center and also walked to the shops and restaurants which were very close by. Lots going on, but still private. Home looked newly renovated and was very clean. I would gladly rent here again. Best place to eat was in Douglas at the Everyday People Cafe. Haven't had food that good in years.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
