This cozy waterfront home offers a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic get-away or family outing. Its charming living room has a large fireplace, and breathtaking views of the Olympic Mountains and beautiful Hood Canal. There are also great views of the water from the kitchen, dining area and bedrooms. The kitchen is outfitted with everything a gourmet cook will need. The large deck is great place to watch the sunset after a busy day of boating, crabbing, fishing and oystering.

The private pebble beach offers plenty of room to relax, swim, fish, sunbathe or look for shells, starfish and interesting rocks. And there’s nothing like a crackling fire on the beach for grilling oysters, cooking s’mores and just having great family conversations. Dungeness Crab are abundant just offshore and, with proper licensing, you can use the row boat and crab pots to harvest them. There is a mooring buoy to keep your boat just beyond the low tide line.

This home is decorated with unique nautical antiques, comfortable furniture and great beds. Nearby (two miles) historic Seabeck has a great country store, expresso shop, café, gift shop and marina. You will find even more in Silverdale (15 minutes) including a shopping mall, many restaurants, cinemas, antique ships and much more.

  • We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) had an absolutely wonderful 4 night stay at Seabeck Shores Aug. 09 and we're already checking our calendars to book for next summer. This is the perfect NW beach cabin: old, comfy, quirky and quiet. At night we would sit outside and listen to the critters rustling in the bushes and watching the meteor shower. We snorkeled, rowed around in the rowboat, read books, did puzzles, beachcombed, watched movies and did some serious napping. Food at Barbie's was great, as was Seabeck Pizza and sandwiches from Lone Rock Grocery. We'll be back!

  • This was a great place to take advantage of the warm weekend. Our family had great time exploring the rocky beach and eating smores by the campfire. The views were beautiful and the house cute and comfortable. Thank you for flexibility with our last minute request for accomodations.

  • Mike and Kelly run a top notch rental. The house is charming and very welcoming. We conducted a weekend retreat for our company and found that there was more than enough room for all of us and that their thoughtful attention to details ensured that we had a wonderful and productive weekend. HRI highly recommends this rental as a retreat facility or just a weekend get-away with the family.

  • Staying at the Seabeck Shores home is truly a pleasure. The view is outstanding and the home is very comfortable and includes all amenities. In early August the water in the Canal was perfect for swimming! We were pleasantly surprised to find that so much thought had been put into the needs of guests. I highly recommend the Seabeck Shores home as a place to get away and treat yourself to one of the most beautiful views and areas in Washington.

  • We had a wonderful 4 nts,the cottage felt like home,it was comfotable had a well equiped kitchen,lots of firewood for the fireplaces inside as well as the firepit on the beach.Lots of wildlife,saw 3 Bald Eagles,a beautiful woodpecker,leopard seals Great oysters !! we ate them raw and cooked them on the fire (like Mike suggested) w/butter and garlic.Even saw a submarine.We will be back again.

  • I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at your house! We got oysters both nights. I don't know if I can eat oysters any other way! Too fresh!!! The 2nd night was dry so my husband and I took a short walk along the beach and hung out on the bulkhead and stargazed. I really love the view. We drove that night to that Guillemot Cove, but it was a dark and windy road and we drove 4 miles and didn't get to the end. So we ended up turning around. The 4 of us went to Green Mtn trailhead and tried to get to the vista, but halfway through I think, the trail took to a steep climb, so we turned around. It was foggy anyways! It was a nice 2 hour hike. My sister's boyfriend is a Yankees fan, so we stayed home Sunday night, watched the game, started a fire and made some crab chowder and pumpkin pie. Silverdale is so convenient. We ended up there a couple times for grocery shopping and lunch at Silver City. Excellent food and great microbrews. It's right next to Kitsap Mall on Silverdale Way. Highly recommended! Thanks again for letting us stay at your picturesque home!

  • We had the BEST time staying at your place in Seabeck. What a beautiful view of the Olympics from your place. We've never seen so many Oysters on a beach before. Had fun walking the beach. The dogs had a blast playing in the water and chasing the SeaGulls. Didn't get to see any Orca's this time. We did see a sealion swimming near the shore. We'd love to come back and stay again! Thanks for letting us stay at your place. We had alot of fun!

  • What a wonderful place to stay for peace and quiet. It is truly a spot in paradise. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The beach is perfect for taking a long walk. The mountains and sunsets are beautiful as well. We will be going back as soon as we possibly can. The house was quite comfortable and very relaxing. It has wonderful little touches throughout. Thank you for letting us share your piece of paradise for a little while.
