The B cottage was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Location was close to beaches and lighthouse which I walked to several times. The town center was an easy walk and restaurants were very good as well. I have a suggestion for the 3 ring binder provided in the cottage. It would be helpful to guests if the location of Stop & Shop and Shaw's markets was included as well as CVS as the nearest pharmacy.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

OMG in Watch Hill RI

Last summer we had the greatest experience with our rental in Watch Hill, RI. We stayed at the "house" owned by Jane & Charlie and were delighted with the comfort and ambiance. The property was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated with all the amenities of home, the view was spectacular and it was sooooo close to the beach. Access to the private beach was included in our rental. The owners were helpful in advising us on parking, restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back there again soon.

This cottage was perfect for our family of 5. The location is perfect, walk to town and the beaches. The surf was great and sunshine everyday made it even better. Jane made sure we had everything we needed while vacationing at her property in Watch Hill. We will be back!!

Fabulous spot in Watch Hill, RI

Having grown up in Mystic, CT while spending many summers days at Watch Hill beaches, I was thrilled to find this gem of a rental right in the heart of Watch Hill. Jane and Charlie's cottages are well maintained, clean, sunny and very functional. The Holdredges are wonderful hosts and are very attentive to their guests while not being intrusive; they are very accommodating and responsive to requests and knowledgeable about the area. They provide lawn furniture and an outdoor grill so extended family gatherings are fun and easy, and they also provide beach chairs and a convenient locker at the beach. The Carousel Beach is a 3 minute walk; East Beach a 5 minute walk; and Misquamicut Beach is 10 minutes by car or 30 by bike. We also enjoy evening walks to the the merry-go-round and the St. Claire Annex for evening ice cream treats. We bring our kayaks and bikes so that we can enjoy paddling tours of the beautiful Watch Hill Harbor and bike to various beaches. We are looking forward to having the Watch Hill Inn open again! See you in August!

Watch Hill Delight

What a beautiful vacation home. All the amenities of being home with the sun and sand thrown in. A gem in Watch Hill and a bargain. This was our second rental at this property. Our first stay was at one of the cottages on the property, remodeled, tastefully decorated and furnished beautifully. This time we opted for the larger property which was beautifully furnished and decorated, extra cean and very close to the private beach and the two public beaches. They even had lawn chairs, etc. for us to use on the beaches. I have recommended this vacation home to several of my friends, but you know my family and I will be returning again and again. Jane & Charlie, the owners are fabulous and they really are dedicated to our comfort and pleasure. I would recommend this property and the cottages to anyone wanting a RI beach vacation. FANTASTIC!!

This location is ideal for anyone looking for a summer getaway on the ocean! You are in walking distance to the ocean, the village of Watch Hill. The home owners are helpful, thoughtful, courteous and meticulous! Everything you could need on a summer vacation is in the home or they can tell you where to get it. Furniture has been thoughtfully placed and picked out. I will return to this property again and again!
