  This is a lovely home with many pleasant areas both indoors and outdoors for chatting with friends or quiet reading. The rooftop pool area is relaxing and has a wonderful view of the ocean. The bedrooms are spacious and each has a well appointed bath. The location is perfect for walking the beach and also convenient to town. A luxurious home for get togethers with family and/or friends.

  COMMENTS: Six of us retired women have just returned from a lovely six days at “CASAS DEL SOL – ALTA” in Playa Del Carmen February 8-14, 2013. We thoroughly enjoyed our spacious surroundings, the marvelous meals prepared by Chef Ellie of Latitude Vacations, access to the ocean for our morning walks, and the various porches and decks, especially the upper deck with pool and view of the ocean. The staff was particularly helpful when one of our members was rushed to the hospital, where she received excellent care and returned that night to our place. One member of our party is already considering a family vacation at CASAS DEL SOL. I myself would certainly enjoy doing this again. In short, I'd highly recommend this spot to families, couples and small groups for a relaxing get-away.

  There was nothing missing in this home. It was perfect. A massive kitchen with all the necessities. Fabulous for entertaining with it's open concept. Our kids now want us to buy them a pool table! Opening the doors while we were eating and enjoying the Caribbean ocean breeze was all the ambiance we needed. The rooftop pool and lounge area was fantastic, relaxing, calm, and quiet. The bedrooms were all fantastic with the ultra comfortable beds, as were the bathrooms including fantastic showers and jacuzzi tubs. And the beach that close? Perfection. There was absolutely NOTHING missing from this home in any which way. We would definitely stay here again, and next time, for longer.

  13 of us stayed at this house to celebrate my 40th birthday. I could not have been happier with our experience. Great house, very roomy, everyone had their space. Wonderful view of the ocean, close to town about a ten minute walk! Erin and her staff were great helping us out with anything we needed! We are already planning our next vacation using one of these rental properties! We hired a cook for the night and it was fantastic! Thanks for everything!!

  Casa del sol Altavista is an awesome villa that totally met our extended families needs. We needed room for 16 adults and 2 toddlers and the space never felt crowded due to the spacious bedrooms (with our own bathrooms) and living spaces including the pool area on the roof (soaking pool, not deep, great for children) and the relaxing courtyard on the ground floor where the great-grandparents chilled out to read their books after sunning on the beautiful beach with the most amazing sand and clear water. It takes approximately 15 minutes to get to the start of Playa's restaurants and shops by either walking along the beach or walking the safe pathways. We always felt safe and secure in the home and the area of Playcar 1 plus the local area visiting many restaurants and shops. Erin and her management team ensured that all arrangements ran smoothly from booking the villa to settling us in. We did not take advantage of the chef which we now regret but the housekeepers that came in every third day were very efficient and ensured the home was cleaned from top to bottom and with such a big group this was no easy task. I have no hesitation in recommending this villa for your holiday needs, you won't be disappointed.

  This was my second time to this house and I absolutely love it! The rooms are huge and comfortable and the house is VERY clean and well kept.

  Altavista and its sister house Vista were the perfect place to stay for our group of friends. The views were extrodinary, the beach is right outside your door, and the amenities were top notch! Whether you travel with a large group or just your family this house meets all your needs. The location was perfect, we could walk to town for a night out or to shopping, very easy. The management was always available if we had any questions about the house or activities. If you are looking for a vacation house to rent stop right now this is your destination.
