My wife and I rented this cabin for two weeks. We came to the area to adopt a newborn baby and needed a "home base" while here. We cannot say enough good things about the cabin or the owners. You will not find a CLEANER! or better equipped rental. Cleanliness is high on our priority list and we were pleasantly surprised. We rent on VRBO anytime we go on vacation and the Hochatown Hideout has by far been our best experience. Everything was as good as it said in the add or better. We really enjoyed the company of the owners and plan on sending them pictures of our new little girl as she grows up. They treated us like family and were a joy to hang out with. Just plain good people..... Every detail has been thought out for your stay. Not once were we looking for a certain utensil or pan. It was all there!! The hot tub is practically brand new and worked perfectly. The cabin is near the owners house, but is extremely private. We enjoyed walking their property and heading down to the pond. Next time I will bring my fishing pole! The hideout is centrally located next to all the local attractions. The lake, restaurants, and parks were all within minutes. I would recommend this VRBO to anyone. We are leaving tomorrow, but we will miss this place and the owners immensely. They made the whole experience so wonderful. A big thanks to R&C!! If you are looking for a rental, look no further and book the hideout now!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: We want all of our guests to walk into Hochatown Hideout and feel right at home. Some guests are looking for excitement and some are here just to enjoy the peace and quiet. We're close enough to all of the "action" in the area for guests to enjoy -- and then return to the cabin for the peace and quiet.

My son and my husband really enjoyed their stay! They loved the cabin, saw a lot of wildlife, and caught a mess of trout. My son, who is hard to impress, could hardly stop talking about how great the trip was and how much he wants to go back!. Next time, we're bringing the whole family,Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Trout fishing is one of the favorite "things to do" in the Beavers Bend area (clear and beautiful Mountain Fork River is stocked regularly). This cabin is the perfect place to come back to after a day of fishing --- an outdoor grill is just waiting for the day's catch.

We have stayed in the Hochatown hideout many times and always found everything we need plus things we didn't think of. The owners are the most thoughtful and helpful people one could meet. They make sure all is supplied that one needs. The trees are awesome and seeing the deer come up is something we don't see in our town. The amnesties can't be beat. I would advise anyone who wants a quiet relaxing time to check this place out. Nobody will leave disappointed and it being close to Beavers Bend adds another plus. We will most definitely go backRecommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

This is a great little cabin. Quiet, peaceful and fully stocked and ready to enjoy. The location is just awesome. You won't fine a nicer couple than the owners of this cabin. The cabin was neat as a pin and very well organized. You must take a trip to Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Reservoir and dam, both within a five minute drive. The park is just too beautiful for words and the lake is just gorgeous. My wife and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Hochatown Hideout and you can bet the ranch we will be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.
Owner response: This is a perfect time to visit our area. The foliage surrounding the cabin is so colorful; one doesn't need to go to the Northeastern US to see beautiful colors. Weekends are booked through November, but weekdays are available. Because we have beautiful pine and cedar trees, even the Winter is a good time for a stay in the forest.
