Villa Curacao is a comfortable Residence, centrally located yet its position is quiet, beneath the famous Tappeiner-Promenade. Only five walking minutes from the main square, Theatre Square, and the thermal centre, from the Summer and the Winter Promenade. It has a pretty and well-kept garden with a lawn for sun-bathing where you can relax. Under the pergula surrounded by lovely flowers you can enjoy the barbecue you have prepared on the nearby grill. The apartments are comfortably and tastefully furnished. You can leave your car parked in front of the Villa all during your stay as all interesting places can be reached on foot. As for visiting the many beautiful valleys around Merano we advice you to use the low cost bus transfers. The train and bus station are only 200 m from the house.There are 2 Supermarkets around the corner and nearby there is also a bakery shop that sells freshly baked bread and lovely cakes as from 06.30 a.m. onwards.

It is comfortably and tastefully furnished and located towards south/southeast. It consists of a Tyrolean living-room with 2 extractable beds, a bedroom with double-bed and one extractable spare-bed or three separate beds, fully-equipped separate kitchen with toaster, electric water-boiler and microwave-oven on request., bathroom and 2 huge balconies. TV-Sat and radio with alarm-clock, safe and hair-dryer are also at disposal, as well as parking facility.

Sehr gute saubere Wohng. in Einrichtung und Ausstattung. Lage im Zentrum von Meran in ruhiger und angenehmer Umgebung mit guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und gastronomischer Vielfalt. Vermieterin freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Sind heute erst aus dieser Ferienwohnung zurückgekehrt. Alles ist sehr sauber und die Lage für Innenstadtverhältnisse in einer wirklich ruhigen Gegend. In unmittelbarer Nähe finden sich alle benötigten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Einzige Anregung zum vollendeten Lob: eine Kaffeemaschine und ein paar Biergläser würden den positiven Eindruck unbedingt abrunden. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

Ich danke Ihnen für den Tipp, Biergläser seien ein guter Ankauf. Sie haben vollkommen recht.Leider hatte ich nie daran gedacht, da wir in Südtirol vor allem Wein trinken und weniger Bier. Schade, daß Sie uns nicht um eine deutsche Kaffeemaschine gebeten haben, die der Gast auf Wunsch - wie etliche andere Geräte, je nach Nationalität und Brauch - vor Ankunft in die Wohnung gestellt erhält. Die Villa Curacao ist sehr zentral gelegen, aber trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und war von der Vermieterin hervorragend vorbereitet, einschließlich einer Flasche italienischen Weissweins als Begrüßungsgeschenk.

Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
