The home was lovely, clean and with all the amenities of a nice hotel. It is perfectly situated, walking distance to a park, the intercoastal, the beach and all the shops and large variety of restaurants on Atlantic Ave. both the owner and caretaker are helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Well located, perfect for families

We rented this house with our two young children and really enjoyed our stay. The beautiful and really large garden was ideal for relaxing and letting the kids run around and play. The house was clean, very well decorated, and there was enough room for everyone. The house is very well situated, walking distance from the restaurants on Atlantic avenue and not far either from the beach (15-20 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car). We definitely recommend this property !

Terrific house with wonderful shady treed backyard. Well equipped and very clean. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Can also walk to the beach. Beach pass that comes with the house is a nice touch that gets you use of umbrellas and cabanas on the beach. Hardly used the car at all. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here all of February, part of the time with our grandchildren. The location is perfect with a comfortable walk to town and the beach. The house is comfortable and well maintained with everything we needed More than enough bedding and towels including beach towels. The beach pass is a nice touch. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and everything else needed for preparing any kind of meal. The large yard is a real plus. The children had most of their meals on the picnic bench and had plenty of space for outdoor games. None of us had a single complaint. What really recommends this house, however is the people. The owner is easy to work with and responsive to any request. The property manager, who lives on grounds, can help with anything. By the end of the month we thought of him as part of the family. If the children didn't see him the would go looking for him. We have already made arrangements to return next year.

This house is so cute. The tempurpedic beds and nice linens were a welcomed treat. The landscaping makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. It also provides lots of privacy which was nice for backyard barbecues. There is ample parking that we used for boat storage. There are a lot of reefs within the area that are great for diving. Easy walk to the strip which has lots of restaurants and shops. Owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. We will be renting this house again. Thanks!

We had such a delightful time at this wonderful home! The beds and linens were amazing (very comfortable and luxurious), the house was immaculate, and the 3 bathrooms were awesome (claw foot tub in master bath was particularly nice). Easy to walk to the beach and shopping (although we chose to drive), and the beach pass (which gives renters two 'free' beach chairs/umbrella each day) was so helpful. The kitchen was divine, and the backyard was supremely quiet and inviting. There were plenty of games and books to keep us occupied, and the lounging sofa in the family room was outstanding for naps! The owner was easy to work with, and provided excellent customer service - we've already recommended this spot to a few others...it was great!

We, two german families with small children, were there for ten days in April 2010. We enjoyed our stay there very much. The house is tastefully furnished and well equipped (grill outside, kitchen etc). The children did love playing in the beautiful garden very much. The Housekeeper was very pleasant and engaged for any request. We would any time return to that house once in Del-Ray-Beach!

Perfect Delray Rental House

I rented this house and the upstairs apt. in April 2010. I was looking for a place that could accomodate my family while we were in town to attend my nephew's wedding. The owner was very prompt and professional in all correspondence and his willingness to work with me on dates sealed the deal. We all fell in love with the house. It was perfect and exactly as the owner described. Everything was clean and well maintained. I was looking for a teapot and immedidately the caretaker went and purchased one. We couldn't have received better service. My relatives staying at the Seagate were very jealous of our set up. We rode bikes (bike rental very close by) or walked to town or the beach and thought the location was ideal. We didn't have time to explore many restaurants with all the wedding activities, but we enjoyed Crepes by the Sea and Granger's was unexpectly very good. But frankly people don't go to Delray for the food, they go for the weather and the ocean. I would highly recommend this house.

We spent 4 weeks in winter at this charming home. For us the home is ideally situated between town and the beach. Perfect.

My Family rented this place over New Years Eve, and it was perfect for what we needed. We could walk to the beach and restaurants and clubs in downtown Delray.The house slept all of us comfortably. It was so nice to have the grill outside, washer/dryer and kitchen. Tim was very professional.We hope to stay here again. THANK YOU

WOW! This wonderful house makes a great area to visit (Delray Beach) that much better. The home can easily handle a crowd or a fun romantic weekend. With a generous size kitchen to handle cooking or hanging out it has all the comforts of home. We had a family gathering of 4 generations and the house was able to accommodate babies to grandmothers. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. The living area has all the comforts of home after a busy day. The location is fabulous, within walking distance of the beach, great nightlife, and dining. Weather you want a grill night with family and friends or quiet time to relax the large backyard with its lush tropical landscaping is your own oasis. This property is well maintained and the owner very easy to work with. My family would definitly use again and I have recommend it to friends. Truly your own piece of paradise for a weekend or a month. Definitely worth it. Enjoy!

This house is the perfect spot for fun, relaxation and good eats. The beach atmosphere is exactly what my family was looking for to escape the Boston winter. Within walking distance are excellent restaurants and shopping. My favorite is City Oyster - good fresh fish and wine. The next day for breakfast we walked to the local hang-out Green Owl. The kitchen is stocked with good cooking amenities for the nights we wanted to stay in. The relaxing décor and furniture in the living room made for good times after long days at beach. Tim is a very responsive owner and the onsite property manager answered any questions that came up. To start I would like to say this home is exactly as advertised! You get everything the owner states but beyond that the pictures and words almost fall short in describing the wonderful experience, beautiful finishes and comfortable furnishings that the owner provides. Couple this with the owners prompt and clear communication, easy and professional manner in which he works and this is a homerun on homeaway. If you are thinking of visiting anywhere between West Palm Beach to northern Miami you will find this a perfect location and a wonderful stay. Honestly, I can't say enough about how much we (my wife, 2 girls and mom) enjoyed this home and how appreciative we are for the owners flexibility and generosity! Tim is a class act and his home reflects this in the stay we experienced while in south Florida. Highly recommended!

Very charming house right in the heart of Delray Beach. The pictures don't do it justice, the backyard is very spacious and perfect for dinner outside or playing with the kids. The location was amazing, a few blocks from Atlantic Ave where all the restaurants and shops are. Only about 10 minute walk to one of the best beaches in Florida. The owner is a very trustworthy guy and was helpful arranging everything. Also there is a property manager on site and he was really helpful solving any little problems (or helping you find great stone crab or a good happy hour!) that may come up. You'll have everything you need in this three bedroom house, look no further. Thanks for a great week, we'll be back next year!

after staying few days in Delray Beach jan 1st to 5th in a small efficiency at a hugh price .. we decided to go back to avoid the cold in new york but this time choosing our place where to stay our search via internet was rewarded by finding this quaint and charming house which offer a tropical decor from the time you approach the entrance. The rooms although small offer comfort. we were not disappointed. with the all lay out of the house and all the description given \ what we enjoy the most was to walk to the village populated with restaurants// our favorite the house of Siam we could also walk to the beach .. and minutes away from the canal and its beautiful surrounding we enjoyed as well public library and tennis court this house is well maintained We will recommend it to our best friends

Beautiful home at a great location. The location was spectacular and the privacy and quiet atmosphere made our week very relaxing. We were able to find shopping and good restaurants within walking ...it was so convenient. The local farmers market, downtown area, made it special to get local produce for the week. At night there were lots of places for listening to live music which was perfect after a day at the beach. The home is cozy and warm with a great yard to relax. This is a perfect home for all ages for it's charm, local culture of the downtown area and of course its proximity to the beaches!

What a charming property! Vintage home with high ceilings, nooks and crannies and high end updates throughout. Loads of character and highly functional. Two short blocks from the heart of town. Beautiful landscaping. Property was well maintained, lots of amenities for cooking, laundry, comfortable furniture and sleeping arrangements. I would definitely recommend this property.
