Charming and cozy two bedrooms with a loft on Lake Michigan in the Homestead Resort. Very private location, gated private parking, and beautiful sunsets.
This is a privately owned property and you are nestled in the woods in a discreetly gated property. Your stay will remain anonymous, no need to 'check in' under a name. Your identity will never be known. Great for celebrities or public figures who want a little R&R without the publicity. Despite the location on the water, the condo is nestled behind a dune which provides which is very peaceful and quiet, yet your Lake view is unobstructed.
There is a luxurious pillow top king size bed in the master bedroom, a set of twin beds in the second bedroom and 2 sets of bunk beds in the large open loft. One full bath on the main floor and and half bath in the loft.
Well suited for 4 adults and 4 children, no more than 8 people please.
The condo is on the top floor and it is not handicap accessible. There is a spiral staircase that leads up to the loft. The loft is great for the kids.

Our 4 generations traveled to Northern Michigan for a family wedding and had the PLEASURE of staying at this property. There was plenty of room for all of us and the view of Lake Michigan was awesome. We hope to visit again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family enjoyed an Up-North vacation of a lifetime in this spacious lakefront condo. It is extremely clean, comfortable and well-appointed. It offers breathtaking views with amazing sunsets that rival those in the Caribbean. The Homestead has many great amenities. You can also walk along the beach to Glen Arbor,our favorite town in Northern Michigan to enjoy excellent dining and shopping. Add this one to your bucket list!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We decided to take your place for just the two of us and we loved it. It is sort of like the ‘rustic’ feel of being up north with all of the perks. You have the most desirable location in the resort. Wi-Fi was a nice touch and it even worked on the balcony! We barely left the beach. I think this is the best secret in the U.S. The view over the lake- well it looks like the Caribbean! The little town of Glen Arbor is a real treat…very charming.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Cancellation policy:
Renter agrees to have no more than 8 guests during their stay. Renter understands the sleeping arrangements include one king size bed, 2 twin beds, and 2 sets of bunk beds that are child size. Renter agrees to pay for any damages they incur, apart from normal wear and tear. Please do not re-arrange any furniture! Housekeeping is an extra charge, should you want housekeeping services during the stay. Trash must placed in plastic trash container, sealed up and removed from the condo daily and taken to the outdoor trash containers. Check in time is 4 pm and check-out time is 10:30 am, without exception. No smoking in the condo or on the decks. There are fire pits on the Beach, that are open on a first come first serve basis. No fires in any other area. Absolutely No pets Allowed! Renter agrees that if they lock themselves out, there is a $25.00 fee charged to be let back in. If there is a locksmith fee, renter will be responsible to pay for those services in full. Renters agree to maintain noise levels so that neighbors are not disturbed. Loud noises before 8 am and 10 pm are prohibited. Renters shall ensure that nothing is thrown off the balcony, including trash, water, dirt, or toys. Renter shall wash their own dishes during their stay and at the end of their stay make sure the dishes that are dirty are in the dishwasher and all trash has been removed from the condo before they leave.

About: We have 6 grown children and 4 grandchildren. We were fortunate to be able to bring our young children up during the summers to get away from the city, enjoy the beach and simplicity of charming Glen Arbor. During the winters, we used to ski at the Homestead every chance we got. As the children have grown and gone their separate ways, we seldom use our lovely little getaway, so we have decided to share it with other special families and people.
Why Glen Arbor:
It is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It is quiet, cozy, relaxing, and a perfect place. Once you experience it, you will understand.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
There are many things to do here. So, it really depends upon your style and taste. I am a writer, so I enjoy the quiet solitude of the area. I am not a cook, so we enjoy the fine restaurants, the local merchants, and shopping. There is a fabulous spa that overlooks the Lake where we enjoy massages. We go Morel hunting, hiking, and sun bathing. There are several art galleries and unique shops in town. The knit shop is my favorite and every year I purchase a hand made sweater or scarf that was created over the winter by the local ladies who sit together and knit. The Cottage Book shop is also a favorite. I think it is a magical place. We enjoy skiing and golf as well.
