  Not only will the views sweep you off of your feet, but the kitchen is over the top and the bathrooms match. This condo is on the top floor of a super convenient complex within walking distance of somewhere people from all over Washington and beyond come to enjoy, which is Alki Beach and its endless entertainment from watersports to biking to nightlife. The water traffic you will observe while barbequeing from the deck of the condo is in itself pure entertainment. Oh and did I mention the sunset?!?!? This made our "staycation" epic! Janice is so easy to work with and leaving the condo was as easy as showing up. If you are coming to the Emerald City, this is the place to be!

  The Alki Beach Condo is a remarkable place to call home while visiting Seattle. I was in Seattle on an extended business trip and decided to spend time on Alki instead of downtown Seattle. I selected this condo and am so grateful that I did. I travel often and sometimes for an extended time so when I find a place that I really feel at home, I count my blessings. I will begin counting with Janice and Brian; they are wonderful owners who make you feel welcomed in their home. They are helpful without being intrusive. The condo is beautiful while maintaining a “homey” feel. I spent time here in January so the fireplace was a must have. Sitting in front of the warm fire and watching the action on the sound was such a wonderful experience, it looked as if the water started right outside the sliding glass doors. The condo really exceeds its’ description. It is beautifully adorned with showroom bathrooms and kitchen. I loved that the bathroom was large enough to store my entire month’s worth of getting dressed items! If you are considering a stay on Alki, I highly recommend this condo. You will love it here.   I loved the condo as soon as we walked in. It is very warm and inviting with a real homey feel. We arrived after dark so didn't realize how beautiful our surroundings were until we woke up in the morning. In walking down the hall from the bedroom all you see out the window is water, just amazing. While sitting on the deck one afternoon the waves actual lulled me to sleep, nice little nap. The condo is also big enough that I could escape to the bedroom to watch a movie while my husband and sons watched the game. Alki beach is a great location. We would go for a nice long walk along the beach in the morning, stop on the way back at the cafe for breakfast and then grab a Starbucks to take back to the condo. It's a 5 minute walk to the shuttle and bus stops. We took the bus to a Mariners game, really easy and we didn't have to find parking. Thank you Janice for your hospitality. Hopefully we can make it to your place again next year.

• Great condo on Alki beach

  My family of four (two teens 18 and 16) spent a few days in the Seattle area and found this VRBO to be a perfect fit. The photos don't do it justice. It has a great location! It's an easy drive to the ferry to head to Seattle (the ferry has a shuttle as well), within walking distance to the public beach and several great restaurants, yet secluded enough that we felt like we had privacy. We did some sight-seeing, read, played games and enjoyed being a family away from our busy world at home. Thanks for opening up your home Janice. We loved it!

  Our family stayed at Janice's property for Thanksgiving. It was super convenient to Alki Beach and just as lovely as pictured. Janice had great communication, and even helped supply us with key equipment for our Thanksgiving feast. The weather wasn't very cooperative, so we couldn't enjoy the amazing views, but literally you feel as if you are on top of the water. One night a neighbor knocked on the door and offered us some pizza he had cooked in his wood brick oven. The building was small and quiet, and a perfect fit for us. You can walk to many restaurants and bars, and it was a quick drive up to grocery stores. The location is ideal! Thanks, Janice for your hospitality and speedy return of our security deposit. We appreciate it. Hopefully we'll be back soon to visit our daughter, son-in-law and newborn granddaughter. It was certainly a memorable trip for us, and the accommodations just added to the experience.

  The location is perfect.. Choose between enjoying the quiet side of the Alki area from the deck or beach or walk a couple of minutes to the public beachfront and all the activity it has to offer. Sit on the deck and watch the water and the mountains with a bonus view of Mt. Ranier to your left. The condo looks even better than the pictures on this site. Janice has put a lot of energy into the details in her home, everything is top quality. You can tell from the property how much she cares that guests have a great experience at her condo.

  Hi Janice, Oh my goodness! What a wonderful stay! It was so peaceful and relaxing. Just what we were looking for and it was just the kind of quality time we wanted to spend with our friend. We got back this morning at about 1am after a long long drive. But the trip was well worth it! Thank you so much for your flexibility and prayers!   Janice, Thank you so much for letting us stay, it will be a trip we remember for a long time. It will be somewhere we recommend for sure and we will definitely be back and would think of nowhere else to stay but on Alki beach at your house. The morning walks with my daughter to get coffee every morning were priceless and we had a meal at La Rustca that was amazing. The red clam chowder was the best I ever had and we ate the leftovers for breakfast before we left yesterday morning. Your house made the trip wonderful thank you so much again. Maybe next time we will get to share some wine with you guys. Jean

  When you walk in you are absolutely CAPTURED by the incredible VIEW! WOW! It is stunning! Then, after you catch your breath...you turn around and cannot believe this beautiful living space! The wood floors are gorgeous. The kitchen is quaint yet modern and the granite is beautiful. The lighting above the bar is fantastic! The granite in the master bath is GEORGOUS! As is the tile work. I LOVE the way you tiled the toe kick like the floor. Very nice touch. Walking along the water was so much fun and you can go in both directions! We enjoyed this immensely! And people were so very nice. Your location on the top floor is exquisite. Having the wide open deck on the top floor is sooooo much more awesome than the other two units. Definitely the BEST! We especially loved the lighthouse! What a beautiful part of the view with the lush green grass and very fun at night! The deck is so much fun to sit on and enjoy! We love watching the wildlife and hearing the surf. The sea lions were my favorite. Soooo relaxing and beautiful to watch the changing views. With fog and without it was all so beautiful. The leather reclining chairs are the most comfortable chairs we've ever sat in. These are just some of the things we loved so very much about staying at your condo. Everything was close and convenient. Your maps and instructions were wonderful & we never wanted for anything! Thank you so much for your hospitality. We look forward to staying there again someday.

  We were happily surprised that the condo exceeded its description. It is full of pretty details and "show house" worthy bathrooms and kitchen. When we were sitting in the living area it looked as if the water started right outside the sliding doors. The owner was very thoughtful and left coffee, etc for our use, suggestions about the area and use of the appliances. We certainly will apply to stay there again the next time we are in West Seattle.

Additional information about rental rates

A deposit of $500 is due at booking if outside 45 days for 3 to 7-night bookings. If the rental is longer than 7-days, then 25% is due at time of booking and final payment is due 45 days in advance. At 45 days or less, full payment, including the security deposit is due.

Additional Fees and Taxes:

In addition to the rental amount, there is tax of 9.5% and a cleaning fee of $125 per stay. We also require a $500 upfront security deposit, which is refunded within 7 days of departure assuming there is no damage to the property or contents.
