Newly remodeled and in pristine condition, Cedar Tree Chalet is the choice among discerning holiday takers looking for a brand new, fully furnished, and finished vacation rental. Cedar Tree Chalet has the woodsy feeling of "knotty pine" sought after by many winter sports enthusiasts, but with all the luxury of modern living. A full kitchen with a large dining table, washer/dryer, cable TV, WiFi (Wireless Internet) upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. Two double rooms and a bunk room allows sleeping for 7-8 comfortably.
The main room boasts an elegant gas flame fire with none of the effort of a real fire, but for those seeking the romance of a real fire, there is a woodburning stove in the downstairs double room that keeps it's occupants warm and toasty on snowy nights. Plenty of storage space and parking round off this excellent package.

When the final snows of winter melt into Lake Tahoe, Cedar Tree Chalet becomes a prime location for summer fun on the Lake. Just a short stroll (one-minute walk) from the sparkling shores of Lake Tahoe and historic Homewood Marina and Deli. Right next to the Maritime Museum and bike path. A block from bike/kayak/boating/ski rentals and Obexer' Market. In the summer, Homewood Ski Resort doubles as a venue for outdoor evening concerts.
For the artist and chef in you, a Tahoe gem. The farmer's market held once a week and the arts and crafts fair on different dates throughout the summer both held in the Homewood parking lot. Please check for dates.

Holidays (three-night minimum): $450/night. Discounted weekly rate (7 nights)
$2,835/week ($405/night). Holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years,

Everything was perfect! The rental process was simple, the communication was timely and exceptional. The cabin exceeded our expectations. Unbelievable location, easy access to the lake, bike path and market (less than 100 yard from the Homewood ski lift...for winter use). Very clean and comfortable with plenty of rooms. The WiFi made it easy to leverage the internet for things to do in Tahoe and stay in touch with work. Our family enjoys outdoor activities...hikes, bikes and water-sports, and we could enjoy these activities without getting in the car. We would definitely recommend this Chalet!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

As owners of Cedar Tree Chalet, we have stayed at our cabin on several occasions during the winter and summer months with family and friends. It is a warm, cozy, clean getaway and provides most of the basic living amenities. In the winter, the convenience of ski-in, ski-out, and being able to take a break at the cabin in between runs makes this vacation home a perfect location for Homewood skiing enthusiasts and skiing families. Equally, the summer, offers convenient access to Lake Tahoe. High Sierra Waterskiing www.highsierrawaterskiing.com located across the street from Cedar Tree Chalet, sits lakeside, and provides “everything water” to include boats, jet skis, kayaks, sailboats and paddleboards at reasonable rates. The unlimited adventure opportunities, combined with the comfort of this charming cabin, makes for a perfect and memorable family vacation. We hope you will think so, too!
