This house earned a WOW the minute we walked into the living area. The amazing view knocked our socks off! Very well maintained, spacious, beautiful view, well appointed, comfortable, convenient. We found the unit to be clean and functional with all utensils and appliances in good order. The unit has great views of the Santa Rita mountains (8-9,000 ft).The golf course can be seen from the back yard, but is far enough away that errant balls are not a problem. This house is very convenient for nearby swimming, hiking, golfing, walking, and bird watching. It is also perfect for cozying up together on a cool day - comfy couches, multiple wall mounted TV’s, movies, games, puzzles, wifi. The owners of the home are very responsive and friendly, and clearly want you to have a great time. I would recommend staying there without reservation. We stayed for almost eight weeks.

We will be back!
We will be back!
We frequently stay down in Green Valley during this time of year to visit my parents in the area. My wife and I usually stay a few miles from this home. After viewing the pictures, we decided to give it a try. To be honest my wife and I do not have a single complaint. The furniture appeared to be new, there were enough amenities in the unit to fit our needs. Most of our time was spent on the back patio, cooking in the kitchen or on the walking trails directly behind the home. Flat screen TV’s in the living room, master bedroom and in the second bedroom made this unit very comfortable and relaxing. It has great access to multiple golf courses and my wife enjoys the convenient places to shop nearby. I wish I could post my facebook photos to VRBO of the view at this unit. I do not believe the VRBO photos do it justice (no offence to the owner). The sunrise is simply breath taking! We had breakfast on the patio almost every morning. Because the unit appears to be new and well kept, we did not get the feel that we were staying in someone else’s home. We will be back!

An attractive property with a great view and location. Public facilities and walking trail can't be beat. The gas grill was excellent and it served us well. However, some aspects of the property leave a lot to be desired. We realize that it's impossible to duplicate the amenities in your own home, but the following list caused a bit of inconvenience: The sink spray was not operational, the faucet did not have a aerator, the ice maker did not work; no chair in the master bedroom; no door on the master bathroom; top outlet in the guest bedroom didn't work. We like to cook and the equipment provided was woefully inadequate; no tongs, metal spatula, complete set of measuring cups, funnel, towel hanger, soup ladle, serving tray, strainer; we bought our own kitchen knives after failing to be able to cut things with the ones in the drawers. Are these deficiencies deal breakers? Probably not but it wouldn't take a lot to upgrade a very nice facility into something special

Manager response: Hi Chuck, Thank you for the review- At one point all the utensils actually did exist (tongs, metal spatula, complete set of measuring cups, funnel, towel hanger, soup ladle, serving tray, strainer) Unfortunately it appears we have had a few renters walk away with such utensils over time. We periodically check for missing appliances/utensils. I will make sure the items listed above are replaced for the upcoming season. In regards to the ice maker, the unit itself is not broken. In the past we have asked renters to turn the unit off when they leave (unfortunately most did not adhere). With the extremely (hard water) in Arizona the pipes and internal workings tend to break more quickly when not used for a prolonged length of time. I will add a note to the refrigerator showing tenants how to turn the water to the ice maker on. We had a disabled veteran stay in the unit once, he was unable to easily get into the bathroom as the door swung out. So to make it easy, I removed the master bathroom door and replaced it with a screen. I think it is reasonable to have that replaced and I will do so this winter. The top outlet in the guest bedroom should work fine, it runs off the light switch next to the door. We have had several renters call about this issue and the problem seems to be resolved by turning the light switch to the ‘on’ position. I am sorry you had issues with it. (I will make sure to leave a note for future renters) Again, thanks for the review. I am glad you enjoyed the unit.

Why Springs at Santa Rita:
We started traveling to Green Valley 12 years ago with friends and family for an annual golf retreat. Our family enjoyed this area so much we decided to purchase this home back in 2007. We immensely enjoy the warm Arizona climate and the peaceful relaxation this area provides. Major league baseball spring training in March was also a great excuse to come to Arizona and enjoy the sun!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Morning walks are a ritual for us when we stay here. There is a 25-acre park with over a mile of walking trails exclusive for residents and renters. This is conveniently located directly in front of the property. The Anza Trail for hiking or biking recreation is also located by our property adjacent to the walking trail. With 10 golf courses located within 10 miles of our home it makes it easy to get a round in on any given afternoon. You will find most nights are spent on the covered patio enjoying the gorgeous mountain view and watching golfers on the 14th fairway. This is a perfect place for rest and relaxation. Using the telescope to stargaze at night is a must!
