  We stayed here for the first weekend of Jazz Fest. The location is great and the unit is very private and quiet. The courtyard is great and you feel like you are in your own private garden. The stairs can be challenging! It has all of your basic needs: coffee pot, fridge, dishes, etc. Sunday at Jazz fest was a muddy mess, so it was convenient to get back to the unit and have a water hose to rinse our shoes and feet. Thanks Stacy for being a great host!

  Went to New Orleans for our 24 yr anniversary booked a room at the crown plaza then we found this listing on vrbo. Way better than being couped up in a hotel. the courtyard is awesome we walked everywhere. Stacy is very helpfull and great to deal with a lot of local knowledge and suggestions.

  I stayed here 5 days over Mardi Gras, and I can honestly tell you it was a great experience! With it being my first time to NOLA, I had very little knowledge of what to expect, but Stacy did everything possible to help both before and after we got there! The place is situated in the perfect location; Everything you need and want is within walking distance. And even though we were so close to all the action, I can gaurantee you that this place provided a safe and quiet retreat when needed! This place by far surpassed any expectations that I originally had, and really made our experience so much more personalized! In all the places that I have stayed at during travels; I've never felt more at home than here! I highly recommend this place, and absolutely can't wait to have future stays here!

  A half block down from Cat's Meow, an easy walk to Cafe du Monde, it is amazing to stay in the middle of the French Quarter but it being quiet enough to sleep. The two story place is quiet, comfortable and clean. Stacy was very helpful in suggestions of nearby things. Hot water heater had plenty of water for 3 people getting ready to go out on the town. Loved having a courtyard to sit outside in peace in the middle of the FQ. Felt very safe behind a gated area. Would stay here again. (If you are a food person, be sure to go to Sylvain right down St. Peters on Chartes. Great food, bar).

  We had an amazing time staying at this location for my birthday weekend! Stacy made it so easy to grab keys, unload and hit the town once we arrived. The 1 bedroom was perfect and the amenities were top of the line. You are about a 1/2 a block off of Bourbon in the center of all the fun. We will definitly be heading back to NOLA and staying at Stacy's NOLA getaway again! The sooner the better!

  Great place to stay in the heart of the action! amazingly quiet though just steps from cats meow and pat obriens.stacy was a most gracious host.btw if u have fat luggage may want to leave on ground floor as stairs are a lil tight.hope to return soon. :). :) :). :) give it 4 smileys! Also Very Clean !!

  We stayed at Stacy's guest house over the Thanksgiving holiday. This was my husband and my 3rd Thanksgiving in a row in New Orleans. This was our best yet. The guest house is perfect! It is a half a block off of Bourbon and basicially it was within 1/2 of a mile walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go while in town. The house was super clean, very nicely decorated and very cozy. The courtyard was amazing and very private. The spiral staircase was unique, and to our surprise, we managed to navigate it smoothly throughout our stay. The size was great for a couple. We also had other family that stayed elsewhere, and they came over for breakfast one morning and we managed to have room for the 4 of us. I would highly recommend staying here!

  I have been coming to New Orleans for years and have been using this property for over a year now....usually about once a month or so. More often than not, I usually run down the street to the market and get what I need rather than go out to eat. Everything has been great! This is a really nice small apt. and Stacy is sweet. For someone traveling to NOLA, with or without a car, this location is perfect. If your out in the quarter and find yourself in need of a restroom, you can be back to the house in a minute. Close enough to eveything in the quarter and the courtyard provides a nice place to just hangout, grill, have a beer and cigar without someone trying to sell you a "huge ass beer". If you want to explore outside of the quarter, call a cab....comes right to you to take you anywhere you want to go.

  This is a terrific rental unit right in the heart of the Quarter. Better yet, it's secluded behind the main house so it feels private and is very quiet - which is a nice respite from the active Quarter. We spent a few mornings sipping our coffee in the outdoor courtyard, which was delightful. The unit is small but very suitable for a couple or small family. Far superior to any hotel room! Everything was clean and the Owner was very responsive. We had a terrific experience and we would return in a heartbeat!

  Overall we had a good stay at this property. The location is absolutely perfect just steps off Bourbon and close to all the other French Quarter shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean and the owner provided fresh towels and linens and she was very friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage in the apartment past the time of check out since our flight was not departing until later. A few negatives were that the hand soap in the bathroom was empty when we arrived, we were only provided with one and a half rolls of toilet paper for a 5 night stay, the toilet seems to need work because sometimes it would not flush, and the water in the shower didn't really get very hot. All of those things are minor I think when you consider the price, the location, and the cleanliness of the place, but as a vacationer those are things that are good to know. One other thing that worried us is that we tried to use the oven one night and all the sudden the entire place smelled very strongly of gas. We had to open all of the windows and leave for a while to air it out, but it is possible the pilot light was just out so that would be a minor fix. I think it really depends on what you are looking for if you will like this property. If you want luxurious accommodations and plan on spending a lot of time there I would not recommend. But if you plan on being out and about seeing the city for most of you stay I would say this is a good place to stay in terms of budget, location, and privacy.

  Owner response: I'm so sorry this cute, young couple's stay here was less than perfect...They seemed to be enjoying themselves very, very much while they were here! I genuinely want all of my guests to have a fantastic and relaxing time! Future guests: The issue with extra soap and toilet paper can be easily remedied by just asking for more if you need it. I certainly want to make sure my guests have all of the basics they need for their stay so if I overlook something, just let me know and I'll make it right! Also, sometimes gas appliances like ovens and heaters have a strong smell especially when they are newer and aren't used very often...These guests probably just wanted to err on the side of caution since they didn't know this, which I do appreciate! I can assure all of you that all of the appliances and the toilet are working well, the home and courtyard are in excellent condition and I look forward to having you visit New Orleans! Stacy
