The close proximity to Hollywood (2 hours by plane) attracts movie stars and TV shows to the area regularly. Many own property here, and contribute to San Jose International airport having the largest private plane traffice in all of Mexico.
Cabo is totally safe...over 1000 miles from Tijuana and the border, the State boasts the lowest crime rate in all of Mexico. The local authorities are quite vigilant to insure Los Cabos is safe, and after living here for over 8 years I have never had or seen any problems. Everyone here is happy to be here!

After looking at numerous condos in the area, we decided on this one. Wow, what a great choice! Fantastic location within the complex and walking distance to nearly everything. This unit was very quiet at night (no street noise), beautifully furnished with the most comfy mattress and high quality linens, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The quality of this condo exceeded our expectations. Owner was extremely helpful and available. Thank you! By the way, The Baja Brewing Co. has a great view, food, and live entertainment. The sushi bar right on medino beach was surprisingly great too (can't remember the name).Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I'm Installing a stop gate on the plumbing to prevent any future water backups,so if you visit again in the summer you won't have to move if it rains. We totally enjoyed 2 months at this lovely, well-stocked and really clean condo at Marina Sol. We've stayed in various condos in this property over the years, and this is our favorite condo. Felt like home with the best bed...we slept so well. We like the first floor patio, and spend hours there reading and visiting with neighbors and guests walking by.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: I fell in love with Baja Sur 20 years ago and luckily found a business to create in publishing. For the past 14 years I have been fortunate to live the adventure of Baja Sur and share it with millions of readers in various magazines like Destino Los Cabos and HOME magazines. Originally from Minnesota, the harsh winters drove me south to find an easier living environment. The fantastic weather year round supports outdoor activities, and I like to explore.
Why the Owner Chose Marina Sol:
After working in Los Cabos for many years,and living in a resort on the corridor, I desired to invest in the rising real estate market and learn more about Cabo, so purchased Casa Cabo and lived there for 3 years. I love going to Medano beach for breakfast in one of the beach restaurants and watch the cruise ships and all the beach activities. The particular location of Marina Sol, the first full ownership condo built in Cabo, is so good, that it is easy walking distance from the key points in town. The largesst shopping mall is right next door and the famous cabo marina in front of that. I also go to the nightclubs when I stay in Cabo because I can drink and don't need a car!
Cabo Bay is gorgeous, with 5 star resorts all around and exclusive residential neighborhoods in the mountians overlooking the town. The music scene is lively and there is a huge variety of music venues to choose from.
Marina Sol in particular is an inviting condo complex, with great amenities, lush gardens and quiet privacy in the midst of crazy Cabo. Real Estate is a safe investment in this paradise on the planet, and this lovely 1 bedroom unit is quiet, comfortable and inviting.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
I live in another condo complex that does not have all the amenities of Marina Sol, and I really like I can get room service from the pool restaurant, as well as enjoy a jacuzzi early in the morning.
Cabo has the best shopping so when I'm in that mood, I base from Casa Cabo and walk all over town to the unique shops that seem to open all the time. When I'm in the mood for a movie, the Cineplex at Puerto Paraiso Mall next door has VIP leather recliners and a variety of movies. Sometimes I wander to Caliente gambling hall, if I'm feeling lucky.
The hottest club, Passions at Nikki Beach is right next door, and they have live bands and DJs and constant theme parties that amaze me. I rarely leave before 2 am, and 5 minutes later I'm in bed. There are a variety of fun places to eat, drink and play easy walking distance, so Cabo definitely fufills my desires for music, great food, interesting people from all over the world, all with the ocean in the background. It's pretty special!
