  This property was everything that we expected and more. If you don't use the steam shower every day you're missing out. I travel 80% of the time for my job and am used to staying in nicer hotel properties. This house matched anything I have stayed in the larger cities, yet provides access to the old west feel of the surrounding Creede area. My family will definitely be back last year. Thanks for a great stay.

  This house is truly terrific. It has all the amenities you could possibly want -- fully stocked gourmet kitchen, cozy fireplace, comfortable furniture, architectural beauty with lots of natural light, luxury bathrooms and scenic views. You can easily walk to downtown and access walking/biking trails right outside the front door. We have rented many properties through VRBO, but the owner of this property was the most pleasure to work with. He really cares about your experience and shares helpful advice to make your stay enjoyable.

  Everything was as described on the website. We had a great time. The only thing you need to bring are your clothes, some food, and whatever toys you plan to play with. For our stay it was Mt. Bikes, Hiking Boots, and Fly Rods. It is a quick walk to eating, drinking, or shopping. The owner was very good at communication, and easy to work with as far as arrival and departure. Everyone in our group commented on how well they slept on the mattresses they had. I have no problem recommending Black Canoe Cabin as a great place to use as your trip headquarters to the Creede area.

  The place is in a great location, walking distance to everything in town. The home is beautiful and has everything needed for your stay. Be sure to stop by Kip's Grill let them know you are at Goldie's and they will take care of you. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful Home!

  Wonderful accomodations. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 5 days. Plenty of room. Really nice kitchen, TV, and large deck to sit on and enjoy the weather. Extremely clean and orderly. I would highly recommend this property to my family and friends.

  We found this new cabin to be the perfect Colorado get-a-way. It was a great location for various day trips around the area. We traveled with another couple and the two-level design worked very well, allowing privacy for both parties. The owner is very pleasant to work with, the property was clean and well maintained. The property is accurately reflected in the photos. We actually napped in the hammock on the deck! We would certainly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in the Creede area.
