THE VIEW OF THE ANTHRACITE MOUNTAINS WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY. This charming 1600 square foot home is located 5 miles north of Gunnison. Built in 2005 the house is decorated in rustic earth tones and has that western charm, it is well furnished and is a comfortable place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Gunnison area. This one level house sleeps 4 adults very comfortably with one queen bedroom and one bedroom with 2 twin beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything required to make a great meal. All the needed linens are provided for our guest. The property has a front porch, back porch, and a back deck where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the views. The deck has a picnic table as well as chairs & BBQ grill. There is adequate parking for your vehicles.
This modern home on 36 acres is visited with wildlife including humming birds, eagles, deer, coyotes, fox and rabbits. The recreational opportunities are endless. Access to Gunnison National Forest with thousands of acres of public lands with world class hiking and biking trails are close by. Conveniently located the house is just 30 min from Crested Butte, Blue Mesa Reservoir, and Waunita Hot Springs. Rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, dirt biking, rock climbing, horseback riding are available in the surrounding area.
