Our stay at the Maui Family Condo was above and beyond what we expected. Michael was very easy to work with. The unit was very clean, very well decorated and very well equipped with EVERTHING that you need. The pool area was really nice along with the BBQ's for you to use. We were traveling with a 3 & 5 year old and it was fully equipped with toys for the kids to play with. My boys were so excited for the bunk beds. The beach was a very easy and short walk away. We hope to visit Maui again soon.....and the Maui Family Condo.

Highly recommend! We had an incredible family vacation. The condo is the perfect size for a family of 4, and everything you need for a Maui vacation is there for you! Exactly as described in the listing, and completely remodeled! Clean and well kept. Situated across from Charlie Young Beach you could not ask for a better location. Michael was easy to deal with and made sure setting up our vacation was easy. If you are looking for a condo for a family vacation or need a little more room do not pass this up! We are making this an annual vacation!

A great "Home Base"

Thanks so much to the owners for providing a wonderful "home base" on Maui. The unit was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and well-stocked. Since we ate almost all of our meals in the condo, we especially appreciated all the pots and pans, bowls and utensils. Even a garlic press! We also appreciated our numbered parking spot, and the fact that the beaches were a very short walk across the street. Lise was helpful on the phone before our trip, answering a few questions we had. We would recommend this unit without hesitation!

Condo was very well equipped with all our needs. The Listing desrciption was exactly as written regarding condo contents and amenities. Condo was very clean and we would recommend this unit to everyone going to Maui. As a matter of fact, we have already given out the web site..

Excellent Condo

The condo is conveniently located in Kihei. It is a 10 minute walk to Foodland, popular shopping areas and the nearby beaches. Except for minor road noise and partying on the Labor Day long weekend, the neighborhood is generally quiet. The complex has quiet hours in the evening. Long term and transient (tourists) neighbors are welcoming and respectful. The complex is maintained by Pat, a friendly and hard working resident manager who is an owner himself. The condo is modern and clean, exactly as described on VRBO. It is well equipped. The complimentary coffee is a very nice touch. The shared laundry is on the same level as the condo. Make sure you have enough quarters, drop-in detergent pods and anti-static sheets for the chore. Since it was our first visit to Maui, we didn’t have a chance to enjoy all the things like the on-site swimming pool, Netflix, etc. Although we have two toddlers, we traveled as if we had no kids – got up at 2:30 one morning to see the sunrise atop Haleakala Summit, got up at 7 the next day to do the road to Hana, and stayed up late to see the hula shows in Kaanapili the following night. This place is perfect for families with young kids – no stairs, beach toys, boogey boards and indoor activity stuff. It is good for big kids too. It has a surf board, but we didn’t use it. We really appreciate the snorkelling equipment. We swam with turtles! Yes, we saw turtles twice and that was the highlight of the trip. (We didn’t ride them, it’s against the law.) Here’s a list of things we particularly liked: - There is a good collection of guide books. No need to lug yours all the way to Maui. - The beach chairs, towels and coolers are definitely handy. - The cross breeze brings in the tropical scents of trees and flowers. It eliminates the need for air conditioning. We didn’t use the air conditioner as a result. It was a fresh air experience. We miss the sweet natural scents already. - Occupants are asked not to use pesticides and insecticides. It was important to us as well. - Did someone say Lise was responsive, accommodating and flexible? We second that. We had an evening flight coming home. Lise allowed a late checkout. Thank you, Lise, for letting us stay at your place. It is truly a home away from home. We would love to be back there again. Where do we sign up for the frequent user program?

Just what we needed!

This was just what we needed - a quiet, secure, inexpensive place to stay while exploring Maui. Everything was very clean and easily found, and I was quite happy to use the snorkeling gear to explore Honolua Bay! The only minor issue was that it was a little warm at night (there is only one air conditioner in the living room that doesn't quite reach the bedrooms), but it was still comfortable. Other than that, no problems - easy to find, key was easily retrieved from the lock-box, towels/sheets/kitchen implements were all easily found. The owner was also very prompt and thorough and answering our questions via email and making sure we had contact info in case of problems. Would definitely recommend this - thanks for sharing your condo with us!

My wife and I had a great stay at this lovely condo. Can't say enough good things about it. Great location--within walking distance of a great beach, many nice restaurants, and shopping. It was wonderful to not need to use a car when we wanted to relax. And when we did drive around, we didn't have far to go (e.g., Wailea is 5-10 minutes south, Valley Isle Fitness and Eskimo Candy fish market were 5-10 minutes north). The condo itself is very well put together--pictures are right on. Netflix was a plus, as was the comfortable bed. We don't have kids, so it was cool to have the second bedroom (kids bunk room) to use as a staging point for beach time. The owners also provide a bunch of beach equipment (towels, chairs, toys for kids, snorkel stuff)! Further, the condo complex has a wonderful pool. It was definitely solid to have the option to take a dip in the pool on days/times when it was too windy to hang out on the beach. Last, but definitely not least, the owner (Lise) is great! She was very responsive to phone calls and emails before, during and after our stay. She definitely made us feel at home in her condo. This place definitely made our trip to Kihei!

Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Good location very close to Charley beach, grocery and shopping. Condo was clean and quiet. Nights were cool with nice breeze. Owners were helpful and sent full details how to get there. Will recommend to friends and family.

We stayed at this very nice and newly renovated condo for two weeks with our two little boys. The appartment was very clean, super equipped and very nice. We found everything we needed for the beach so we could start vacation from the very first moment on! We absolutely recommend this beautiful place to other travellers, especially families :-) and we'd love to come again! We had a wonderful time! Thank you very much!

This place is GREAT! I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable condo in a great location. The unit is meticulous, beautifully remodeled and is fully stocked with everything you need for the beach (chairs, coolers, sand toys for the kids, bogie boards...etc). The kitchen is fully stocked as well and has everything you need after a long day at the beach. Small but AWESOME perk is the steaming Netflix!!!! We will definitely stay here again!

Everything was exactly as promised, just like in the pictures and description. A great, central location and quiet too. Parking was practically right out the door--no stairs to climb. Respectful neighbors. The condo was sparkling clean. Everything we needed and wanted was provided. There was no extraneous stuff we didn't want (didn't feel like we were living in someone's personal space). Simply but elegantly furnished and everything in good condition. Good cross-ventilation meant we never needed to turn on the air conditioning. The owner is obviously a well-organized and thoughtful sort of person. She was very prompt in responding to all our questions. When we met the cleaning lady (who was really delightful) she told us the condo owner is the nicest person she works for. We were impressed that the pool and deck were always clean--never a leaf or any debris in the pool. The pool and courtyard were just outside our lanai (yet we had privacy behind some bushes). The condo maintenance person raked the courtyard and swept in front of our door every morning. You can easily walk to 3 or 4 beaches/parks (watch the whales!). It's within walking distance of a grocery store, movie theater, coffee places, beach & bike rental places, and restaurants. Cinnamon buns in the strip mall below Denny's are worth the walk. A block from the bus. This is an excellent value. I will recommend this property to all of our friends and relatives heading to Maui.

We thoroughly enjoyed this condo and especially appreciated how well equiped it is. All appliances, utensils, kitchenware are of such good quality and cleanliness, one can feel relaxed about settling in and enjoying the surroundings! HIGHLY recommended! I sure hope to get to stay again.

You will never find a two bedroom condo in Maui this equiped for this much money. Great location close to everything

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was comfortable, nicely decorated and situated in a perfect location. We were within walking distance to many beautiful beaches and great restaurants. The condo was very kid friendly with lots for our toddler to do during down time. We appreciated having the cooler for all of our day trips keeping our lunch and beverages cold. The only negative would be was that the BBQ area was extremely dirty and we decided not to use it. Other than that, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this condo. We hope to return to Maui one day and will definately look up this condo again.

My Husband and I just spent 7 nights at the condo. It was VERY clean and stocked with EVERYTHING you will need for your time in Maui. They provided very nice Tommy Bahama beach chairs that were perfect for the beach along with towels, coolers and snorkel gear. Nice bedrooms and bath with very trendy Maui decor. Very Kid friendly even though we do not have children. Kitchen was wonderful as well, everything you would need. The only negative was the air conditioner was some what loud when we had it running. But we had an over all great time! Its really close to Charley Young beach. Threes Bar and Grill and Kihei Cafe. Owners are also very accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was nicely decorated, well equipped, clean, comfortable and private (corner unit). The location is great, walking distance to beautiful beaches and nice restaurants, and convenient to everything. It was very nice to have beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie board, WiFi, cooler, kids toys and kitchen supplies so we did not have to pack those extras or buy. We also enjoyed the well maintained gardens and bbq and pool area. We highly recommend this condo and will go back there next time we go to Maui.
