Fredericksburg cabin description
Rustic Romance with history! The Wild Ram Log Cabin established in 1847 is located on 2 1/2 acres found just 3 miles east of Fredericksburg. Mormans led by Lyman Wight established the community of Zodiac on the Pedernales River, four miles east of Fredericksburg in Gillespie County. They built a storehouse, private homes, and laid out a series of communal farms. Floods destroyed Zodiac in 1851, and the Mormon colony moved to a site on Hamilton Creek in Burnet County. To this date only two homes remain from the Zodiac Community and 'The Cabin' on the Wild Ram B&B is one of those two homes. Your hosts want to share this cabin with you during your visit to the Hill Country.
This two story log cabin offers one bedroom which offers a new posturpedic king bed with european linens. The living room has a leather Duncan Phyfe sofa to sit on and watch DirectTV. Step into the luxurious bathroom with oversized shower. Enjoy star gazing from the private hot tub.
The property itself offers peace just sitting on the front porch rocking away your cares. You are far enough from town to feel at peace, yet close enough to not have to drive long distances just to enjoy the local activities.
Private Hot Tub and *complimentary bottle of local wine.

Great little cabin
Took a little anniversary trip with our 3 pups & had a blast! The house is very cute & comfortable. Thoughtful surprises there for you when you arrive. Great location, close to Fredricksburg, LBJ Ranch & the wineries. There is a second house on the property, we will definitely come back with a group for more wine tasting!
