Our three bedroom, two bath, 1,600 square foot home in the gated community of Hidden Palms affords you privacy and comfort during your stay.

The fully-equipped kitchen features all new appliances, including refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, and toaster. An eco-friendly washer dryer unit is down the hall.

The master bedroom features a queen-sized bed and private bath with two sinks, large vanity, and separate toilet and bath/shower. A large sliding glass door allows you to access to the patio with a gorgeous 12-foot high hedge of oleander and hibiscus.

One guest bedroom has two single beds, while the other has a full-sized bed with French doors leading to a cozy outdoor atrium area. The guest bath has a sink, vanity, toilet and bath/shower.

The living room has sliding glass doors to the patio area for warm days and a cozy gas fireplace for cool nights. There is also a large-screen television and DVD player. There is a formal dining room and separate breakfast nook for meal times.

The property is a standalone single-family home in a secure gated community with a huge wrap around concrete patio area, which is perfect for entertaining. There are three outside patio seating areas, and a gas barbecue for cookouts. An attached garage will hold two vehicles.

We offer cable television, free wireless and internet access, and are next to one of the community’s four pools and hot tubs. There are six tennis courts, and beautiful walking paths that the surround several small lakes throughout the complex. A variety of citrus trees are available for you to pick oranges, grapefruits, lemons and tangerines when in season.

One of the best features of the property is its location in the valley – right in the middle of everything! We are walking distance to the McCallum Theatre, College of the Desert Street Fair, and El Paseo for high-end shopping, restaurants, art walks, and night life. The Indian Wells Tennis Gardens, Empire Polo grounds are a short drive away. Hiking trails are minutes away throughout the valley, or visit the Joshua Tree National Park for an adventure of a lifetime.

                  About the owner: Our names are Jack and Liz Loomis, and we split our time between London, Seattle and Palm Desert. We're both consultants, which gives us the flexibility to travel and work from anywhere. We love to travel and experience different cultures. We also love food and wine - but who doesn't?! We hope you will find our home as comfortable and accomodating as your own!

                  Why the Owner Chose Hidden Palms:
                  We chose Palm Desert for one reason: SUN! Living in Seattle and London gives you lots of access to culture, but very little exposure to warm, sunny days. The Coachella Valley has the largest number of sunny days in the country - and it won't disappoint. There are also tons of outdoor activities to do from lounging by the pool, to playing golf and tennis, or taking hikes around the valley or at Joshua Tree.

                  The Unique Benefits at this House:
                  We love the citrus trees that pepper the community. You can pick from grapefruit, oranges, blood oranges, tangerines, lemons and limes. And then bring them back to the house and juice them! The tennis courts are in great shape, and the pools and hot tubs are awesome after a long day of hiking. We're also within walking distance to El Paseo, where you can shop, eat and drink to your heart's content!
