  My family spent a wonderful few days at this house. The weather was perfect and the house was as described. The house was clean and the homeowner was very responsive to everything we asked. The owner sent a list of helpful information before we arrived which was nice. There are about 40 steps down to the lake but we have stayed at several places at the lake and that is very common at the Lake of the Ozarks. We loved shopping at the outlet mall and minigolf in Osage Beach. It was very convenient to have a grocery store just a few miles from the house. It was very affordable compared to most of the other houses in this location. My family had a wonderful time and plan to stay here again.

  This place was neither overwhelming nor underwhelming. The bedrooms and kitchen were clean and just as listed. The bathrooms were a bit outdated and a little questionable. The dock is very nice, the best part about the house besides the decks. Be prepared to walk a few flights of steps to the dock! The property owner is very nice and accommodating. She responded to all calls and emails appropriately and efficiently. The house is for sale and the realtor came by during our stay to show the property, which was very odd. Thankfully the owner quickly made amends for the inconvenience. Overall it was a pleasant stay and it suited our needs as our focus was on spending most of the day outside on the dock.

  THIS PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEEMED!!! THE PLACE IS FALLING APART!! NO HOT WATER,DECK,RAILS AND STEPS FALLING APART.GARBAGE OUTSIDE HOUSE,GAS GRILL SHOULD BE THROWN AWAY,I WOULDNT COOK ON IT FOR MY DOG.1 PAN IN THE WHOLE HOUSE AND AGAIN IT SHOULD BE WITH THE GARBAGE OUTSIDE!!! NO WORKING DOCK LIGHTS,SCREEN DOOR RIPPED AND FALLING APART,THE OWNER CALLLED ME AND ASKED IF SHE COULD SHOW THE HOUSE,WHEN THE REALITOR LEFT,THEY LEFT THE FRONT DOOR WIDE OPEN???? ICANT BELIEVE VRBO RENTS THIS DUMP.SPOKE WITH OWNER....THEY OFFERED ME 50 DOLLER REFUND.IF I DONT GET HALF MY MONEY BACK,I WILL NEVER RENT FROM VRBO AGAIN!!!!!

  Owner response: Thank you for your comments. I am always looking to improve my rental. This customer was a problem from the beginning when he asked if he could have the first night free because he wouldn't be getting there until late. His communication with me was very poor. I emailed him approximately 1 week prior to his arrival to give him specific details about the house as I do all rentals and he never even bothered to let me know that he received the information. Yes there was a hot water issue while he was there, but it was not until his last day there when I called him that he told me about the problem. I'm not sure how he expected me to fix the problem if I wasn't made aware of it. If he was so unhappy with the rental, he should have contacted me and I would have told him to check out and I would have refunded the other 2 nights stay. Instead, he waits until he gets back and demands 2 of the 3 nights stay for free. When I contacted him to discuss the issue and come to an agreement on the refund, he wouldn't even listen to me and hung up. As you can see from all the other reviews on here, all the customers have mentioned what great experiences they have had and the great communication with me the owner. I never misrepresent my property and if there is a problem with it, let me know while you're there so that I can have it fixed or make other arrangements for you.

  My family had a great time! The property is conveniently located close to town. Great dock for swimming. The lot is pretty steep with a lot of stairs to get down to the dock but wasn't so bad after you got used to climbing them! The owners were very pleasant and easy to communicate with. The rates were very reasonable.

  I, my grown children, spouses, grandchildren stayed here for a family reunion held at a family member's house on a cove near Laurie. It was a very nice stay. It was as the owner described. It was easy to find as the owner described. It is close to a plethora of activities in Laurie or Sunrise Beach. As it is on the main channel, not a great place to swim or boat, but we did that elsewhere. The owner was very nice and communicated well. I hope to stay there again. I highly recommend it.

  I had so much fun with my boyfriend and friends when we came up for the weekend. The house is very clean and comfortable, has a lot of bathrooms and even has cookware, dishes and utensils for us to use in the kitchen. The view was amazing from both decks and has a grill and porch swing. We all especially enjoyed going to the dock to fish, lay out and swim. I also have to add that this is one of the most affordable vacation rentals at the lake I have found with nice, current accommodations... I will definitely use this place again for my next visit to the lake!

  My husband and I stayed here with our granddaughter. It was a great family place. My husband was down on the dock fishing all day while our granddaughter was swimming. It was so nice to spend quality time with our granddaughter. The view from the bedrooms was fantastic! We also spent some time shopping at the outlet mall and playing miniature golf. Overall it was a great week! We will definitely be back soon!

  I was there recently with a couple of friends and it was perfect for us. We loved hanging out on the dock and swimming. Relaxing on the porch swing with a bottle of wine was great! It was a cute, clean house and we felt very comfortable there. I will definitely be back to this house on my next trip to the Lake of the Ozarks!

  My husband and I stayed here for two nights and three glorious days! We came in last week. The location on the lake was great. We didn't have a boat, but we didn't need one. We were able to swim and float around the boat dock area. My husband had great luck just fishing on the dock every morning and every night for crappie. He caught his limit every day. The accommodations were clean and up to date. The bed and pillows were comfy. We recommend this place to anyone who enjoys relaxing environment.
