This is a perfect place for anybody searching to escape and refuel their soul. So peaceful, it felt like living in the trees. We stayed for 7 days without phones, TV or internet and did not miss it at all. We went on hiking excursions every day and there was so much to see. Having 2 little ones on hand, it helped a lot that the house offered all the luxuries of our own home. Highly recommended :)

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Copied from Guest Book Well here we are again...and your home is just as lovely and inviting as the first time we were here Aug. 2011. It was fun to visit with Pud and Kipper again. The best part was the sun...which was a long time coming!! It was the first real sun of the entire spring and summer, so far. Weather was 20-26c and full on sun EVERY DAY of our visit! PS Alan Barnes, local chef, cooked us a wonderful Anniversary dinner on July 6.

Thank you for sharing this little slice of peaceful heaven. Our firls getaway weekend was everything we hoped for - with a fantastic view and a great deck to boot! Loved the cats - Pud is a loving cutie pie!! We hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful time. Our daughter Eloise had her many 'firsts' here" marshmellows by the fire pit, the visit/hike to teh fairy glen, picking wild berries. It was a wonderful experience and she loves your 2 cats. No luck trying to catch/follow them though!

We hourghly enjoyed our stay in your warm and serene home. We also enjoyed "Pud" and "Kipper"! My husband and I have rented private homes in Canada and around the world, and your home is the only home that made me feel as peaceful as I feel in my own home. Your home had a great "vibe" the minute we walked in teh door. Thanks for everything Cris.

We had a girls getaway weekend and came across this vacation home rental and it was just perfect! The weekend was very relaxing. The view and the house itself was beautiful! Very quiet in the area and perfect area for hikes and walks. The large patio was perfect for tanning in the beautiful sunshine and for yoga. The location was close enough to get to but secluded enough for it to be so peaceful and serene. The stars were beautiful in the night sky and campfire was perfect for a late night treat. House was just the right size and well equipped and very comfortable.

Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

My family had a fabulous time at Eagles Roam and yes we saw many. Gorgeous living and cooking space - as we love to cook and prepared a number of awesome meals. Great view and deck area. We rotated decks based on the light and spent most of our time outside on all of the decks. The romantic hot tub setting enticed us there for many soaks indeed. The additional guests (the resident cats) may not please everyone but, having lost our cat of 16 years we had a delightful time with their antics! Accessible hike to the beach and other hikes filled our need for the outdoors. I would highly recommend to mant cat lovers!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway.

The gang from Bowen Island REALLY enjoyed the Sunshine Coast - despite there was no sun...and our last night was a little bit of magic spent around your fire pit!

What an incredible home! Thank you! I enjoyed the peace and serenity. The quality of your home and the grounds made our stay that much better. You warmth and hospitality upon our arrival, your home and even your cats will ensure a return in the future. Thanks again - Peter I second everything Peter conveyed! Our stay went beyond our hopes - peace, serenity, comfort, beauty, rejuvenation are only a few words that immediately come to mind when I reflect back over the last few days here. We ventured out to a number of hiking trails that included the Hidden Grove down the road. Further up the coast we enjoyed Skookumchuck Trail - and especially moved by the Fairie Glen right next door. Magical and mystical are words that best describe these wonderous natural gifts. Pete and I also enjoyed a dinner at the Lighthouse Pub - good food (Pete said the ribs are "incredible") - conversation even better - sit on the patio and watch the boats, planes come in! Cris - your home and location are beautiful - more so, its the caring and loving detail your pay attention to that really makes this place an inviting home - we will definately come back! Thank you so very much for giving us the opportunity to stay at your absolutely Beautiful home! It's even more beautiful than the pictures and is exactly what we were looking for for our vacation - gorgeous scenery, Peace and Quiet, and Privacy, yet only a few minutes drive to all the amenities of Sechelt. Our dog "Yogi" enjoyed it too and we're so happy that we could bering him with us! He made friend with your 2 cats Pud and Kipper very quickly! We had an Excellent time and we enjoyed having a fire in the outdoor fire pit every night - We never even turned on the TV the whole week! We had a great stay at the Eagles Roam retreat. The house was very clean and comfortable, with two wings of bedrooms so we could even enjoy some privacy away from the kids. The decks and views overlooking the Inlet were fabulous – you could even see a bit of Vancouver Island in the distance.

Thanks for the most relaxing holiday we’ve ever had! We just needed to “get away” from it all, and found a true haven at Eagle’s Roam. Watching the crows chase the eagles, hiking on the miles of heritage forest trails, and sipping a bit of bubbly while watching the sunset was just incredible.

I was looking for years for a Sunshine Coast yoga retreat for my class, and found Eagles Roam - we held a 3-day retreat and will be back next year. Best features were the the large deck and quiet location was amazing for meditation, yoga, and just plain relaxing, and the quaint wooden platform stage up the forest trail - despite the rain, was a beautiful environment. Love the little fairy houses!
