Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

This flat was the perfect home away from home for our stay in Paris. Cecile responded promptly to our email inquires, and was willing to accommodate our arrival and departure, as well as our request for a receipt. The flat is a 35-40 minute taxi ride from Charles de Gaulle airport and is located off a main avenue behind a secure entry in a quiet Latin Quarter neighborhood. When we arrived Dina, the concierge, greeted us in the garden courtyard, gave us some time to navigate the winding stairs with our over packed suitcases, and then showed us around the flat. Dina speaks several languages fluently and we appreciated being able to converse with her in English, Spanish, and French. The online photos accurately depict the flat; however, they cannot capture its full light, charming views, airy ambiance, and peaceful tranquility. We were grateful to be able to return to this quiet retreat after a long day of conferencing, shopping, and sightseeing. The free wifi, and use of a landline with free local and free long distance calling were welcome and reliable amenities. The all-in one-washer/dyer was convenient and easy to operate. Having Dina on site and her reassurance that we call her should we have any questions made us feel right at home. We enjoyed waking to the sound of birds chirping in the morning, hearing children’s laughter in the afternoon, listening to a pianist play Chopin or jazz from across the courtyard while we dined in the flat, and falling asleep to a gentle rain. Although wonderful café-bars, brasseries, and bistros surround the flat, our favorite meals came from the shops and farmers' market, on Rue Mouffetard. Whether exploring Latin Quarter sights such as the Sorbonne, Parthénon, Jardin des Plantes, Rue Mouffetard, Rue St. Germain, Luxembourg Gardens, Notre Dame, Shakespeare & Company or for sights outside the 5th such as the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, P?re Lachaise, La Madeleine, Arc de Triomphe, or Champs-Elysées access to metro, bus, and taxi stations were conveniently located near the flat. Thank you Dina for making us feel so welcome. Thank you so much Cecil for making our visit special by generously sharing your lovely flat with us. We hope to visit again soon!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My son and I stayed in this charming flat for 8 nights in July. We found the owner wonderful to work with, and very responsive. She even went above and beyond when our original flight was cancelled the previous day, and she worked out for us to stay a couple of extra days in her flat. Dina met us and gave us a great orientation on how everything works, and she was always available if we had questions since she lives on -site. The flat was exactly as represented on-line, and it was so clean! The kitchen was very well-appointed, with everything that we could have needed for a comforatble stay. There is a great assortment of travel guides and info in the flat on attractions and public transportation. The location could not have been more perfect! It was located in a cute little flower-filled alley that was very quiet and secure. It was also very conveniently located. It was very close to a Metro station, and there were lots of boulangeries, cafes and little shops right around the corner so you can pick up anything that you might need. There is a fantastic little restaurant located 2 doors down that was one of our favorites while we were there. We loved being so close to Rue Mouffetard, which ended up being one of our favorite streets. It is filled with fruit and vegetable stands, cheese shops, butchers, wine shops, boulangeries, chocolate shops, and too many cafes to count. When I visit Paris again, I would not hesitaite to stay here. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Waking to the sound of the birds outside your window is dreamy. The apartment was very nice, clean, peaceful, and located nicely near our favorite Parisian street, Rue Mouffetard. The apartment was perfect for the two of us and would work with one or two children using the fold out sofa. Beautiful courtyard to return to after a day of running the city. Stairs to the 3rd floor (2nd European) not a problem and helped to offset the caloric intake. Everything we needed and wanted.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We loved our stay from the windows to the wonderful bed! Great location - we loved being able to eat late right in "our" neighborhood. It was spotless and very quiet. Dinah, the caretaker, was very helpful from explaining the free long distance to getting us a taxi on the morning we left. We shopped most mornings for breakfast, then hopped on the Metro, about a 5 minute walk, to start our sightseeing. I would and have recommend staying here to my parents for their trip this fall!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The apartment was in excellent condition with a heavenly bed. Everything was in working order and our small children (1 and 3) loved sleeping on the fold out couch. The location was great very close to the Metro but still convenient to La Mouf. We were able to store our stroller in the courtyard area with the other strollers which was nice because of the 2-floor climb to the apartment. We certainly would stay again although we might re-think Paris in February (too cold)! Thanks for a great stay!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My wife and I love this place. It was close to subway and bus terminals but we were already where we wanted to be most of the time. When on vacation who wants to waste time getting to the cool neighborhood. Luxembourg Gardens was close, Rue Mouftard, lots of shopping, restaurants, quaint little bars. When we left I was saying "I could live right here". The apartment was clean, modern, TV, telephone, washer dryer, everything you needed. Did I mention QUIET! That is a sometimes elusive thing to find so close to the action. I would definitely return to this beautiful place. Thank you, Cecile.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at this flat recently, and had a fabulous time. Both the owner, and Gardienne were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and throughout our stay. The apartment was bright, yet cozy and had all the amenities one could hope for. We loved the location, as it was so close to all major sights, and of course Le Moufftard, which we shopped at daily for delicious food that we prepared in the flat. I would highly recommend staying here, and look forward to returning in the future!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
