Crystal Shores is a beautiful like new luxurious 14 story condominium completed in May of 2004. It is one of the nicer condos in Gulf Shores and is a quality project!! The complex is located directly on the beach just one mile west of the center of attractions in the heart of Gulf Shores. This part of Gulf Shores is much less congested than East Beach and Orange Beach and very relaxing!

There are MANY condos in this area to choose from, so why choose ours? We think it is exceptional and so do others ! The following is unsolicited email received from our former housekeeper Sheila after our annual deep cleaning:

"Again I just thank you, thank you for letting me take care of the condo. It is just so awesome and you both need to be real proud of it. I have been in probally 1000 units and none can compare...not one." And Sheila keeps our place in perfectly clean condition!!

Our beautiful non-smoking, no pet unit is on the ninth floor and affords spectacular views from its wide balcony, of the Alabama Gulf Coast, with all of its natural beauty, boating and beach activities.

Our unit is different from most others and is decorated in a colorful Cape Cod theme, rather than typical tropical, and includes many great framed scenic photographs personally taken by us on our trip to Cape Cod and Boston. The living room features an entrance leading to the spacious furnished balcony, a comfy sleeper sofa, loveseat and TV, XBOX with lots of games, and a DVD player complete with movies for the kids, both little and big. Unlike some units, there is adequate seating for 5 in the living room.

High speed internet ethernet access is available in the unit.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite counter tops with an eating bar and 3 bar stools, various appliances and staples for those days when you would prefer to stay at home rather than explore and enjoy the countless fine restaurants in the area. The dining area has a large granite dining table that comfortably seats six.

The Master Bedroom has a queen bed and private balcony entrance, TV/DVD/VCR player and private full bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a TV with an adjoining full bath. There is a full sized washer and dryer in the unit.

The large balcony is equipped with 2 commercial grade loungers and a high quality VERY comfortable Carter-Grandle bar-height table and four swivel chairs. You will sit high enough so that your fantastic view of the Gulf isnt obstructed by the railing!

The ground level of the complex has a beautiful HEATED indoor/outdoor swim-through pool allowing you to swim from the outside to the indoor pool area. There is also a hot tub whirlpool next to the pool. The deck is furnished with quality teak loungers and tables. It is a GREAT kids pool. Maximum depth is 4 1/2 feet.

Beach service is available for renting umbrellas and beach loungers. On the lobby level you’ll find a fully equipped exercise room with expensive machines (watch the Gulf as you work out) and game room with a pool table, air hockey and foosball that overlooks the indoor portion of the pool below. There is also a sauna for your use.

The mailboxes are on this level. The pool level features two charcoal grills located away from the pool area.

  • It was our first time to gulf shores and we will be back.the condo was set out really nice,views from the balcony were incredible,we were able to see dolphins jumping.the gulf was cold for november but that didnt stop us from going in the water,check out the schools of fish that come close to the shore line.to top the trip off the razorbacks beat lsu so all in all a great place to stay.

  • The "Feet Retreat" Condo was absolutely fantastic. My husband and I, and our 2 boys, 3 and 6, just got back and we had a wonderful time. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed and then some. My boys especially liked the XBOX and games and also the DVD players. This condo has a lot of extras that we have not found in others. Nice little touches such as the sand pails, crab nets, chairs for the beach, umbrella, the list goes on. We had an amazing weekend and will be renting this condo again at the end of the summer. For anyone looking for a great beach vacation, this is the condo to rent.   • My wife and I would like to express what a wonderful time we had staying at the "Feet Retreat". Every amenity we could ask for was supplied. After a long day at the beach, it was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves come in. The view during the day was amazing. This condo is what VACATION is all about. If you didn't feel like going out to hit the town at night, you could curl up to one of the many DVD movies supplied. This is the nicest accomadations my wife and I have stayed in. We would truly recommend this condo to anyone considering staying in Gulf Shores. You won't be disappointed.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Shores #904! The place was beautifully decorated and clean! We really enjoyed the view from the balcony (and the naps from up there). The beach was clean and the water was warm! We stayed in the water more there than we ever have anywhere else. The restaurants in the area were great, also. We especially enjoyed Bahama Bob's and Coconut Willie's. We are looking forward to coming back next year! Thanks for a wonderful time!!

  • I've stayed in a lot of condo's over the years but none as thoughtful as this one. The coffee, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and XBox with games was extrememly nice. I felt right at home. My grandchildren and I stayed up late nights racing each other on a XBox game. I loved being across the street from the grocery, we hardly ever left the condo area. I will certainly recommend to my friends. Thanks

  • We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Shores #904. Everything was new and in excellent working order. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the beach in front of the condo is wide, clean, and beautiful. When we first layed down on the beds, the mattresses felt very hard, but we woke up the next morning feeling very rested and decided we loved the beds. The condo is decorated very Ralph Laurenish and all the girls raved about it. The condo accommodated us 5 ladies very comfortably. After having stayed at Orange Beach for the last couple of years, the location at West Beach was a welcome change. We also loved Bahama Bobs restaurant that we walked to from Crystal Shores and the grocery store across the street was very convenient for staples. The pool is kinda small and the hot tub was taken over by kids, but we were there for the beach, so we didn't mind that. We had a great time and look forward to returning next year. Teresa Aldridge

We love the easy access, less congestion, and more relaxing atmosphere of West Beach in Gulf Shores as opposed to East and Orange Beach. The condo was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home without any of the worries, which is what a vacation is for.   • We're very pleased to be your first official guests! You've done a fabulous job giving your condo all the touches of home. The kids were very excited to see the "X-Box" and accompanying games waiting for them. The location just off of 59 is super convenient to dining, entertainment, and shopping. Oh what a view!!
