  we were three couples from Ontario, Canada, in Boerne for a wedding and taking extra time for sight-seeing. We were really impressed with the rental home - it was more spacious than we expected, very clean, the kitchen was fabulous, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. The location was great, close enough to town to be convenient by car, lovely neighborhood to walk around. Liza was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly. Several wedding guests that were staying in hotel rooms visited us at the house and were duly impressed and will likely consider a rental home in future. I would definately recommend this home to others and hope to use it again myself if I'm back in the area. It's very convenient to the Alamo, Riverwalk and Natural Bridge Caverns. We also enjoyed exploring the smaller towns of Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Boerne.

  Great house in a good location. I was in Boerne with my family for a wedding. The house is very clean and comfortable. Lots of room. Good place for those traveling with kids. Boerne is a great little town.

  My husband, myself and our two teenage sons rented Liza's house for a week as we took in Fiesta Texas, floated down the Comal River, hiked Enchanted Rock and spent time at the Riverwalk/Alamo. The house is beautiful, comfortable and was perfect for us as each son had his own bedroom and a television in the bonus room. It was centrally located in order to visit sites in San Antonio as well as surrounding cities. Liza is a great hostess and was always available and helpful whenever we had questions or needed clarification.

  Spring break with our family was so nice and relaxing this year! We spent 5 nights in this home and thoroughly enjoyed all of the comforts of home, while being away from home. The neighborhood is nice, quiet, and well maintained. The home was fully furnished and nicely decorated. The owner is pleasant to deal with, responding to all questions and requests beyond our expectations. We will definitely consider this home again for a family vacation, and have already recommended it to friends.

  I wanted to say this was my first ever experience with a VRBO home. I was a little skeptical and hesitant at first. But after meeting, talking with Liza, I became very comfortable. The home is equipped with everything you need. I also appreciate her responding quickly to any questions and help that I needed right away. You will love this home and what a wonderful location with much to do. I will be returning in the summer if my plans work out. Pamela

• Thanksgiving in Boerne

  We stayed in this home for Thanksgiving 2011 with my family and my sister's family (we both have small children), and we enjoyed it very much. My sister was visiting from Dallas, and she and her husband are familiar with the area, while we came from Atlanta and had never spent any time in the Texas hill country. Overall, it was very pleasant. The house was a nice size, clean, nicely furnished, and fit everyone comfortably. It is precisely as it appears in the site photos. There is a playground within walking distance with a pool (although the pool had closed for the year, since the weather was pretty mild) that was a nice bonus for our kids. The neighborhood is quiet, and it is only a short drive to both the town of Boerne, which we found to be quite charming, and Guadalupe State Park. My wife and I have stayed in quite a few rental properties while on vacation, and the owner of this home was by far the most accommodating. She got DVDs specifically suited to our children's ages in advance, which was a very nice surprise, and she even expanded her cable subscription, just so that my sister's husband and I could watch a particular college football game for a West Coast team(!). I would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area.
