  The stay was amazing, quiet, relaxing, serenity, and friendly. I can't say how wonderful the place was. The weather was in our favor, no bugs, a frisbee on the lawn to play with to-boot! The hot-tub was set up for us, the house was clean and everything was in impeccable condition (ive used VRBO before and it was REALLY---NICE--- to have the hot tub ready for us). The games, cards, and radio and speakers were great! The only comment I had is there was no laundry detergent/ fabric softener for the laundry facilities. Overall my husband and I had a great time and would come again--- were looking to buy a place in Moclips ourselves!

  Location right on the beach was great! 40 feet out the front door put us on the beach. Cabin was tight, but managed to fit us all.

  Our family had a wonderful time at this cute & eclectic cabin. The fact that it was dog-friendly was a huge part of why we chose this place and it was PERFECT for them and big enough for us being 4 adults and 3 year old. We all loved collecting and painting rocks, driftwood & sand dollars we had found on the beach. What a cool idea to provide the paints! We had a few hiccups during our stay but they were promptly resolved by the super friendly and extremely accommodating owners. We will definitely be returning next year for another fun time in Moclips!

  We were so lucky to find this little gem for a getaway with our two young kids. The beach is right off the back and the dunes offer a little privacy so it was pleasant to hang out in the back yard. This section of beach is not open to cars in the summer, and the street is very quiet. The cabin is even cuter than the pictures make it out. We didn't use the big loft bed (although the kids loved climbing up and jumping on it). We also didn't get to try any of the board games or paints that the owners have thoughtfully left - the weather was too nice! They really have thought of everything. We enjoyed a dinner on the gas grill and then had a campfire on the beach using the roasters we found inside. Can't wait to go back and paint shells.

  This was my first Moclips visit. I went with my girlfriend and two other couples, part of a birthday celebration for myself. One of the friends we went with has been going to Moclips for 20 years and always stayed at a different cabin. Even he loved this one! It was clean, tidy, cozy, and had EVERTYHING we could ask for. The beach was soft and sandy, and so private we hardly say anybody at all. The only unfortunate thing was all the tsunami debris washing up on the beach...but we collected about 7 garbage sacks full. I would highly recommend this cabin and Moclips in general. It is a really great place. The hot tub and gas grill were nice bonus features as well. I can't thank the owners enough for letting us stay here!!

  Our family stayed at this lovely beach cabin for a whole week and had a terrific time. The kids spent their time beachcombing, painting shells they found and playing board games. Not once did we hear, we're bored. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the beach, and the driving distance to Ocean Shores and Forks made for some great day trips. The dogs enjoyed being able to run freely on the beaches as we basically had the beach to ourselves. Take a walk around the bend where the river is and you'll find some wonderful exploring opportunities. The cabin is fully stocked and provides everything you need, just bring your clothes and food and you're all set! We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the evenings after a busy day and watching the sunset. The cabin was clean, all the amenities worked perfectly and the beds are comfy. Comes stocked with a wonderful selection of dvd & vhs movies to choose from for watching in the evening for some down time. I could go on & on but you really need to come check it out for yourselves, you'll be glad you did!

  We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the beach. Great location. Our only complaint really was it was a bit small for 4 adults and 2 children. Great for pet owners to. Overall we had a great time.

  We found this cabin well equipped, comfortable, quiet, full of game activities for kids and close to a variety of eating places that weren't too expensive. The girls (age 10 and 12) loved sleeping in the loft. The cabin was clean. Loved the pellet stove to take off the morning chill. To our delight, a new hot/tub had just been installed! Was a perfect get away for us all. A gorgeous and isolated beach experience. All we could have asked for!

  We loved our stay at this cozy cabin. When we arrived it was very very clean and had all we needed for cooking. It was an easy walk to the beautiful beach -- probably the biggest, quietest (in terms of other people) beach i've ever visited. It's also only about a 30-45 minute drive to Lake Quinault and some wonderful hikes through the rainforest. We have two young children, and they had a great time. The owner is wonderful to work with. I hope we can return soon!

  We've been visiting Moclips perhaps longer than many year-round residents have lived there at this point...23yrs and counting. For the first dozen years we stayed at a friend's place who later fell ill and sold. In successive years we bounced around the beach on rentals through an agency but always stayed beachside for the sake of the dogs and our sanity. With the (very) recent sale and demolition of the Warren House next door (a place we stayed for several years), this cabin is now the northernmost property on the oceanside of the road, offering completely unfettered access to and unobstructed views of the the river flats and the ocean itself. Though this stay was shorter than usual, we suffered no shortage of comfort, accommodation and amenities at this cabin. We're a family of 4 plus 2 dogs and there was ample space for us even without the bed-space in the loft. The description suggested funky and we took that as a positive as the cabin reminded us of what a beach place was before the money people arrived at Moclips with their bloated proportions and affected tastes. The space was very well appointed and well-stocked for the sometimes sketchy offseason weather at the coast and has obviously been kept very well. It was exceptionally clean when we arrived and we lacked for nothing. Communication with the owner was superb....very responsive and thorough. And, because we know it's getting more difficult to find a place on the beach that will allow for pets, we were thrilled that our beasts were welcomed without hesitation and without a budget-crushing pet deposit. We love Moclips because...it's not Ocean Shores. The beach is better, quieter, cleaner and you can be out there with your kids/pets/kites for hours and hours with little (or greatly reduced) chance of being sideswiped by some jackass in a car. There are a couple small grocers offering the basics in the area and in Pacific Beach...where you can also find a great coffee place, gas, some smaller shops and a place to buy a replacement kite for the one you crashed. And, if you really need to hit the casino or avail yourself of more touristy attractions, Ocean Shores is only about 25min to the south. As for this cabin property, we can say you won't find a better spot to unwind on the beach at Moclips.
