Wine tasting is a favorite pass-time of our family and we never tire of the selection of wineries in the Paso Robles area. We are located on Pacific Ave at the gateway to Peachy Canyon Rd just a short drive to the west side wineries. There are a many other wineries in the Paso Robles area, each offering its own unique wines and amenities.
The California Mid-State Fair is a huge attraction in Paso Robles. The fair dates for next year are July 14 through July 27, 2014. There are plenty of great events and music for all to enjoy. You can take the shuttle to the fair which is in walking distance of Casa Del Sole.
We enjoy Friday night concert in the park downtown while sitting on the grass (bring a blanket). Wine and beer is available for purchase. And if you prefer grab a table at one of the great restaurants with outdoor seating and delight in the perfect meal while listening to music..
We love the outdoors and would like to encourage you to visit Montana De Oro State Park and the state parks of the San Luis Obispo coast. You will find Hearst Castle and many other amazing parks and attractions in this area.
There is so much to enjoy in this area and we will be adding more favorite places in the future.

About the owner: We are newly retired and live in Northern California. We grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and Ontario, Ca.
Why the Owner Chose Paso Robles: This property is a classic a Paso Robles charmer and has located us closer to our daughter and son-in-law who live in Paso Robles and to our family in the southern half of the state. This is the perfect house for all of us to get together at various times during the year. Our family loves wine and for years we have made a wine tasting a family tradition. We have visited all California wine tasting areas and love the central coast area the best.
The Unique Benefits at this House: This property caught our eye the minute we saw its sunny exterior. The large covered front porch is a perfect spot to sit and relax in the afternoon. We enjoy watching the deer walk by (please do not approach the deer or feed them). This home makes you feel you are in a rural area when you are in walking distance to downtown.
There are several outdoor entertainment areas and patios. The backyard is completely fenced for privacy.
The inside of the home has a unique layout as there is a bedroom and bathroom at each side of the house separated by the living room. And of course the picture window in the living room showers the inside with light.
This home is a classic. We love it.
