This was the best place me and my family had and it's way biger than shown in the pictures. It is a very clean and well maintained house. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. They replied to my emails and calls in a timely manner. We had so much fun in the lake during the daytime and in the house in the evening. I highly recommend this property to any one who wants to have good time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family of 10 (2 elder, 4 adults, 4 teenagers) enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well laid out. We used the boat house daily (endlessly) to take the kids tubing and explore the lake. Kitchen was well appointed. Internet worked well. Cell phone reception was good (better if you went outside). Food Lion is 17 miles away. I can't believe we visited it 4 times during our one week stay. I would recommend this property to my friends. Our family enjoyed a much-too-short stay at this beautiful home earlier this week. The home is far more elegant that the description. The rooms were huge and beautifully decorated. We had six adults and our six college-age children, and the size of the home was perfect for our needs. My mother, who has limited mobility, was able to visit as well since there are no steps leading from the garage into the house, and she was able to enjoy the deck out back overlooking the cove and dock. The men especially enjoyed the pool/ping pong table with large TV (for sports, of course!) downstairs. We cooked all of our meals in the spacious kitchen, and there was ample seating for everyone while dining as well as socializing between meals. We will absolutely rent this home for future vacations!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
