Excellent week in ProvenceGuest comment entered by manager
Excellent week in Provence
Dear Beverly, I have been back in Sydney now for a week and I am only just catching my breath - 4800kms of driving in a month. I promised that I would give you my thoughts about our week in Provence. In a few words, it was excellent. Really lovely, and relaxing. We were probably lucky with the weather. The temperature was perfect, but I expect that it turned quite cold shortly after we left on 28/9. We all had a lovely time at the house. I spent a lot of time on the internet looking for a house. The website presentation of Le Tresor Cache was a big factor in our decision to rent Le Tresor Cache, but I have to say that my initial contact with you was almost as important. I felt very comfortable dealing with you and I very much appreciated your quick responses to all of the questions I raised. The owners are lucky that they have you to manage the house. Finally, Cossette cooked a great meal for us. You can pass on my thanks to her again. Tell her that we loved it, but she cooked far too much food for us. Thanks again Beverly. Perhaps we might cross paths again some day. Best regards Tim

Perfect location in a wonderful Mas
Hi Beverly, I'm really sorry it took so long to respond, but ever since we got back from our wonderfully relaxing vacation, real world has returned with all its hecticness! Thanks so much for checking in, yes we did get back very well and with no incidents. It was very, very hard to leave the mas and drive down the driveway one final time; we still are talking about the visit! The mas was wonderful and the location was perfect for us. We commented numerous times how well situated it was for what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go. We loved the proximity to Coustellet, Rousillon and Bonnieux, and have very fond memories of each, along with all the other places we visited. Your service and support was wonderful and much appreciated, and we would definitely reach out to you for any future trips to the area. Thank you again for all of your help in allowing us to experience the Luberon locally and so memorably. Best regards, Harry

Wonderful stayGuest comment entered by manager
Beverly, We are back in the states now and attempting to recover from a whirlwind trip and a bit of jet lag. We had a wonderful stay in The Luberon and hope to come back in the next few years. I know there were a lot of moving parts with such a big group and you were a huge help and blessing in every way. I hope you got the olive oil pump soap and lotion that I left on the dining table for you. Thank you for all you did to help and advise us. We miss the lavender, the food, the rose' wine… we miss everything! Best Regards, Lissie

Lovely well appointed house with lots of character
Hi Beverly, Yes, back safely. Wishing we'd bought more Chateau la Canorgue back with us. The house was lovely. Very well appointed and with a lot of character. The owners have decorated it with great taste and it makes a very comfortable base for exploring the area. Angelina was charming and a pleasure to talk to. She cooked us a lovely dinner to arrive to on the first day. We'd certainly consider coming again. Be interesting to stay in September and contrast it to June. Best wishes, Stephen

This house is a winner. Centrally located in the Luberon Valley - close to many beautiful villages. The house is beautiful - spacious and well decorated bedrooms, a well equiped large kitchen, beautiful indoor and outdoor dining areas and a refreshing pool area - perfect for a dip and a nap after a day of exploring. The house is beautifully maintained and very well managed by the always helpful Beverly. Highly recommended

Great Multi-Family Vacation Home in the Heart of the Luberon
Great Multi-Family Vacation Home in the Heart of the Luberon
We had a wonderful stay at Le Tresor Cache, last week. We were three families with six adults and six children ages 10-19. This home provided everything we needed both in terms of amenities and location. The pictures do not do justice to the size of the Mas, in our opinion, or the outdoor living space that is important to summer travelers with kids. We most enjoyed the flow between the interior and the outdoor living spaces that were all interconnected. The outdoor space is where we spent most afternoons after day-trips to the markets and surrounding towns nearby and far as Marseille-all within ten minutes to an hour and a half drive from the house. The outdoor space encompassed the outdoor living room area that had very comfortable searting for all, a covered outdoor dining room/kitchen with fireplace, an additional space for dining in the courtyard under the gorgeous plane tree, and the pool area including an outdoor bathroom and changing house, a pergola and seating areas by the pool. The pool was great for the kids, big in comparison to some we have experienced in other houses, and given the close proximity to the outdoor living room, it was perfect space for both adults and kids to each enjoy the beautiful afternoons and evenings. The plane tree provided a gorgeous shady canopy in the courtyard on particularly hot days, and the phenomenal mistral winds we experienced on a few of the evenings during cocktail hour also cooled us all after a sunny hot day . There was plenty of sleeping space, several places for the kids of different interests and ages to hang out, and opportunity for those who needed to remain connected to the world beyond Bonnieux for partial working vacations, to do so. Who knew three families would have over 30 Apple devices on vacation? Le Tresor Cache is a modernized Mas that truly responded to the different needs of everyone in our big group ! The kitchen had every gadget and appliance we needed, to satisfy our enjoyment of cooking great meals each night together. With close proximity to the local farms, and local vineyards, we enjoyed fresh picked Cavaillon melons each morning and frequented the farm stands that were stocked with over 15 varieties of heirloom tomatoes and other local produce. We were very happy to support the local Cave Cooperative to taste and purchase the local wines to the Luberon region ! For summer travelers, we recommend this home given the incredible outdoor living space! Thanks Beverly! A la prochaine!

Fabulous family home in the beautiful Luberon area
Dear Beverly We had a great stay - thank you for all you did to facilitate it ! Our comments on our experience at Le Tresor Cache : “We had a fabulous week at Le Tresor Cache and can highly recommend it as a family home to rent in the beautiful Luberon area. Its location close to the D900 makes it an ideal springboard for day trips to all the surrounding picturesque towns and villages. The house itself is an absolute treat ! Beautifully decorated, it offers luxurious comfort and is equipped with everything one could possibly need.” I think we will return to the Luberon and will definitely be in touch when we do ! Memorable holiday, a rich and happy experience.
Dear Beverly, Do you recognize this beautiful house? Our daughter Clara had a school assignment for this year: to pick a house to build. The children were totally free to choose the house they wanted. Last weekend she finished the house and here you have the results. As you can see, she picked the house we stayed in Bonnieux and she tried to reproduce it. The spirit of the region and the house is here and we can almost smell the lavenders. It means that our experience was very rich and happy. All the best and we hope to see you soon. Bia

Lovely home and fantastic cooking lesson.
Dear Beverly, We just want to tell you how much all of us enjoyed our afternoon and dinner with Cosette. We loved watching her prepare the fantastic courses. Though we all are not fluent in each other's languages, her demonstration was more then enough for us to understand. And, each course was superb. Her pumpkin and scallop soup was Devine. The duck was perfect. The vegetable dish was delicious and unique. The chocolate and pear desert- out of this world. I was lucky enough to get the pot to scoop up the leftover chocolate. Cosette is charming. The kitchen was immaculate when she left. Please recommend her to your other guests. They will love her. Thank you again for your introduction to Cosette and her amazing passion for food. Best, Noel and friends
