Accommodation Details: The vacation home has two bedrooms and two baths, and sleeps six comfortably, including up to 4 adults. The cottage has heat, a Jacuzzi, washer and dryer, TV/DVD/VCR. The fully-equipped kitchen has a coffee maker, microwave, dishes, along with pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. Everything anyone has every suggested has been added for your convenience.
Fully and newly furnished and remodeled in 2001 in rustic moose/fishing lodge theme with approximately 1200 square feet. Huge family room with spectacular views of the bay (Queen air bed plus two couches). The lakefront property has a huge sandy beach, gas and charcoal barbecue grills, picnic table, and firepit on the beach with some wood. Pets are by request. Smoking is not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible.
Surroundings: This is a private resort cottage on a 3/4-acre heavily wooded lot with private beach on beautiful clear blue East Grand Traverse Bay. Approximately 100 foot sandy beach with some stones, leads to approximately 500 foot sandy bottom shelf for extra warm water and the area's finest swimming.
Boating and fishing are beyond the drop off. Fish include Salmon, Trout, Bass, Perch, Walleye, Pike, and many others. Nearby water recreation includes swimming, snorkeling, fishing, water-skiing, boat and jet ski rental, and canoeing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, tennis, hiking, and bicycling.
On a side street, just three blocks from Northwest Michigan College, are Central High School, the Civic Center, East Bay Park/beach/boat launch and Front Street shopping. It is just one and a half miles to downtown so you can walk or bike anywhere, even during Cherry Fest. Thirty golf courses are within an hour. One hour from Boyne and Crystal Mountain, ten minutes from Hickory and Mount Holiday skiing.

Why the Owner Chose Traverse City
In all of Traverse City there are only about 25 lots that are directly on East or West Bay that are also on a quiet side street. This is one of those gems, with a 500 foot deep wooded lot directly on East Bay you will both be only a few blocks for Downtown shopping and dining and feel like you are a thousand miles away at your own private resort.
Be careful, most waterfront is either across the street from the water or has a highway or busy street directly outside the back door of the cottage.
