The first reviewer summed this cottage up very well. It is a very comfortable place to stay. There are plenty of appliances, kitchen and outdoor utensils, linens, chairs, etc. I personally enjoyed dining in the sunroom as well as sitting out there reading or just relaxing, enjoying the view. The owners have added extra fans for those hot days, which we did not experience during our two week stay late June/early July. During our stay, we had an additional three people for a few days and had plenty of room. Outside, there is ample area to entertain with tables and chairs. The owners, Barbara and Bruce are more than helpful suggesting places to go or things to do while in the Rochester/Finger Lakes area. For those who don't want to cook while on vacation, they have a basket full of menus from local restaurants. To top it off, the sunsets are magnificent. I highly recommend spending your next vacation at this cottage.

A ranch style, one level home on Lake Ontario greeted my family nicely. The trees embraced my family as we each took turns nestled on the hammock, tied between two trees. The way the large yard is located we had the benefit of the sun starting and ending. Magnificent! Walking in the green grass was ever so soft on my bare feet. I forgot how wonderful the green grass of NY felt, as I had left my home state many years ago. The Jack and Jill closet in the two bedrooms to be shared was sweet. Lots of room, indeed. Perhaps rearranging the twin beds to benefit the closet in that bedroom might be an added feature. The shower head in the bathroom had a good spray and the water was always hot. There were five (5) of us sharing the bathroom. The added perks of personal items (soap, shampoo, hair dryer, toothpaste, hair conditioner) was a nice surprise. Although we did not utilize them, it sure was nice to see. Plentiful amount of towels for all of us, including beach size towels. The kitchen utensils, cook ware, plates, etc. were overly abundant for those that might entertain here. Plenty of chairs to house many who venture to this cozy home. There was a 'heat wave' when we were there for the week and there was no air conditioning (which I knew ahead of time), thinking the lake breeze would be an added feature. I would suggest at least four (4) fans instead of the one (1) that was supplied to assist us during a "HEAT WAVE" to be more comfortable. Also a few electrical extension cords would benefit those hot days/nights that would help plug in the extra fans. All the couches and chairs were comfortable and brightly welcoming. This is a 'laid back' and 'at home' home to kick back and relax. I am grateful for Bruce and Barbara (owners) and their loving home away from home.
