First, I would like to thank you to Tracey for a beautiful villa and location. This villa was very clean and well maintained. This location is a 5 minute walk to the supermarket,beach and restaurants. The owner of this property, always responded in a timely fashison if I had any questions. The staff that maintained this property, was very helpful as well. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the onwer and property. I am looking forward to returning to this villa. I raise my glass in the air and say SALUD to Tracey and his beautiful villa.

We rented the Villa from March 23 - April 1, 2013. There are not enough words to describe this home away from home.....gorgeous, spectacular, fantabulous are just a few! We had an absolute fantastic time! Tracey, you are a pleasure to work with and the rental process went so smoothly. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were absolutely amazing! So friendly and diligent in their work! The location is perfect! Restaurants, bars, shopping, the supermarket and the beach are just a short 10 minute walk away! Tracey, thank you again for opening your home to us! Can't wait to be back in January!

Beautiful and Immaculate

The pictures of this villa are beautiful but they do not truly express how wonderful this home is. My wife and I stayed here for six days for our honeymoon and we enjoyed every moment. The villa is beautiful and the community is beautiful as well. This villa is located within a gated community manned by a guards who are extremely friendly and helpful. There was never a worry. The community is extremely well kept and the people are extremely friendly. As far as the villa, it is exquisite. It has four bedrooms each equipped with its own television and wall mounted air conditioner. Each room also has its own ceiling fan that can spin at tornado like speeds if that is to your liking. The three bathrooms are very nice and roomy. The villa is extremely clean and the kitchen is really nice. We cooked many of our meals (groceries bought from the supermercado that is in walking distance) and had dinner at the large table outside by the pool. The pool is large and cleaned daily by the grounds crew. The villa itself is cleaned daily and the ladies who clean it are very sweet and will help in any way needed. The technology within the villa was exceptional with wifi access and great TV's. One of the things we enjoyed was the WD Movie box with over 200 movies (new and old) and when watched on the TV in the living area.....it is almost realistic. We really loved the villa and everything about it and we will stay here again in the near future. As far as location this community is located just half a mile from Sosua. We walked their daily to shop and dine. There are also several places that will deliver food directly to the villa. The beach is within walking distance and it is only a fifteen minute cab ride to the nearby town of Cabarete. Cabarete also has beautiful beaches, shopping and many places to eat. We had a wonderful time and I truly appreciate Tracey and his helpfulness. Any time I had a question I simply sent him and email and he responded promptly with the exact answer I was looking for. Thanks again Tracey and thanks for making our honeymoon in your exquisite villa one we will always remember.

This place was absolutely a dream to stay in. This house was immaculate. it was clean and in great shape. no complaints. the view from the pool was amazing. i will never stay anywhere else, so Tracey please keep availability for me!! lol.... i have been to Sosua many times and this was by far the way to go, best accomodations i have had ... location is great. its right by the town of El Bate (sosua) and Sosua Beach... the guards at the gate are great. they make you feel safe... the house had everything from great entertainment (after we figured it all out) to great views and unbelievable space ... just all in all, a great experience

Thanks to this Villa, i've now been pegged to plan all future trips for my friends. It was great. Very clean. Maids were very nice. What we loved was that it was great for entertaining and relaxing. Everything was within walking distance and security in the community was excellent. If you have the opportunity to get the Chef, NeNe, do so. She's extremely nice. By the end, we all but offered that woman a plane ticket back to the states with us. That's how good the food was. Doing business with Tracey was also a plus. He was accomodating, responsive and very professional. I kid you not, every single one of my friends wants to go back as soon as possible and we all want to stay again at "Heaven 26" - as we nicknamed it. LOL.

This place is absolutely awesome!!! Everything you look for in a home away from home...top notch inside and out. We had more entertainment than we knew what to do with...which was great! There was never a dull moment while at the villa...whether it was lounging around the pool or taking at vantage of the movie theater located in its only little space. Tracey, the owner was great...very professional and courteous throughout the whole reservation process. The property manager JoAnna took care of us upon arrival. I have stayed at three other villas in Residential Hispaniola...this villa is by far at the TOP of my list for future stays. Thanks again Tracey.

I must say that my friends and I had a great time at this villa. It was exactly how it was described on this site and looks much better than the pictures shows. Tracy was really helpful when it came to booking the villa. she is a real professional. I must recommend the chef, her cooking was first class and the maid service was excellent. I will most certainly be renting this villa again next time am on holiday in Sosua. Also the villa is perfectly situated close to restaurants and bars and had excellent security so we felt safe at all times while at the villa.

Wonderful weeks in Sosua!

We stayed in this villa for 15 wonderful days! We liked everything about it- the pool, bedrooms, livingroom, bathrooms and the nice view and it felt safe and was close to beach and town- a nice 10-15 min walk is needed anyway.We were to families together travelling all the way from Norway and we enjoyed the heat, sun, clear water and nice restaurants. We are very thankful to the very nice maid- Franchesca- she was so caring and took care of the house perfect! The cook we anly had for 1 day, but she was doing a very good job! The only thing missing: more stuff in the kitchen: glasses, plates etc.... a little too little- we wnt to buy som winegasses- no vacation without som nice wine and tastes better in real glasses! We would love to come again Tracey! You did good service and we just cross our fingers the airfares from Norway to the DR will be worth going again!

It is my pleasure to write this review. This Villa is EXCELLENT the owners have cover every detail to make sure your stay is relaxing. The housekeepers were GREAT. It's nothing better than going on vacation and have the same experience and comfort that I do at my own home. I'm going to personally email the owners to let them know my experience and I will return soon for a longer stay.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I cannot say enough about this villa and Tracey( the owner). 5 stars all through out and awesome price. Tracey took care of us from transportation to chef. This was our first time in Sosua ( party central), and it was one for the ages. The villa is as advertised. Super clean, spacious, and has breath taking views. The chef NENE was amazingggg. Highly recommend the chef. She cooks all kinds of food and even INDIAN food, which we showed her how to. The villa is located perfectly not to far from all the action. The beach is near, the bank is near, the clubs and food is near. Also, if you want to use transportation and a person who can take your around, I recommend ROSARIO Taxiservice. Rosario will handle everything, I mean everything. Thank you Tracey for a memorable time and will return, promise.

The villa was perfect for our trip. There were four guys on vacation. The view was beautiful. The villa was spacious and relaxing. The staff on the property was very friendly and professional. Will definitely plan another trip to this location.

The entire stay was great, from the initial communication with Tracey until the point we had to check out. The pictures are exactly as advertised, the house was clean, everything was in working order and the location was superb! I am a frequently traveler and this was one of my best experiences. I will certain do business with Tracey again and highly recommend that anyone spend their money, time and energy renting this property!

This was my third time visiting the DR and it was undoubtedly the best time I've had. I was lucky enough to stay for 10 days this time. The property itself is breathtaking and has a very grand look to it by being elevated and having stairs(walkway also to the side). The villa is plenty spacious and perfectly fit the needs of me and my friends. The maid and maintenance staff were all very friendly and respectful. The biggest advantage of this place was it's location. Gas isn't exactly cheap here, somewhere near the equivalent of $5/gal, so the central location was extremely helpful when it came to getting around town. The villa is located very close to restaurants, the beach, and the nightlife. Everything in the rental description is accurate and well described. Me and my group ate out most of the time, so we used the kitchen only a handful of times- not enough to comment on the usability of it. The breeze from the water is amazing and leaving a window or door open while you're there is highly recommended. And last but not least, the view from the front porch is nothing short of amazing. Will definitely look to rent this vacation home again in the future!

We have to agree with all the reviewers who say this location is beautiful and the villa itself is very nice.The complex is secure and very well-maintained. We were staying as a family of six and we enjoyed the amazing pool, the lovely views, and the layout of the house. The maid, Francia, was friendly and wonderful. However, if you want to cook or if laundry availability is important to you, you may want to ensure some changes have been made by the owner. We did a lot of our own cooking due to dietary restrictions of a family member. The dishwasher, though brand new, was not properly mounted and was unusable. We were told to just leave the dishes for the maid, but she only visited once a day.There was only place settings and glassware for 6, so if we used any dishes after her morning visit, we had to wash them ourselves or had no clean ones until after her next morning visit. Not a big deal, but the villa is advertised as having a dishwasher. There were no serving dishes, baking dishes, oven mitts, or BBQ tools (though a wonderful large BBQ that we used often.) The washer and dryer were not available for our use until a few days into our stay when the owner agreed to let us have access to it. Lastly, we were not made aware of a check-out time in advance. Nothing is mentioned on the website, nor was this communicated to us in any emails by owner or by phone conversations with the property manager. On our last day, we arrived back at the villa from a morning outing and were told that another family was arriving soon and we had to be out in 40 minutes. This would not have been unreasonable if we had known in advance, but it made for a very rushed and panicked packing session. With four kids in tow, this was a rather unpleasant way to end our stay. The owner is aware of our concerns and has told us he will make the necessary changes. If so, we would highly recommend this villa.

Owner response: Changes noted and made! This luxury villa is one of the top rentals in Residencial Hispaniola, a luxury gated community, and we always strive to make it even better for our customers and clients. Couple of key points: 1. The reality is that most rentals in the development provide no access to laundry facilities at all. We advertise the facilities and if tenants ask we always provide access but we require the maid to do the laundry for convenience and to prevent abuse. We charge a small fee ($5 per load) for the maid to wash, dry and fold (and we use our own detergent at no cost!). We make no money off the service (it all goes to the maid) and typically everyone is happy. 2. Our maid washes the dishes for free making dishwasher use typically unnecessary. Bringing her in more than once a day to wash dishes would cost tenants more (typically we maintain 2 sets of dishes--from time to time tenants break them and we are very sorry if that was the case). Also a new dishwasher was being installed--sorry it hadn't been properly fitted. 3. Check-out times are standards for most rentals. Our check-out times range from 11:00am to 2:00pm for extended stays. Must have been an oversight but we and/or the management offiice generally inform tenants and will do a better job in the future. 4. This spectacular house and the services were designed for maximum relaxation at a reasonable cost--let us do the work for you (dishes, laundry and even cooking if you select our fantastic chef!). Thanks to this review we know that we must work even harder to please our most demanding clients. The Owners:)

Staying here was absolutely fantastic. While we were searching for a place to stay for our cycling trip, Tracey (the owner) provided us with lots of information about the house and surrounding area, and didn't mind providing me with references and put me in contact with the staff that runs the gated community the house is located in so I could ask additional questions. From the beginning, we couldn't have been happier. The views are fantastic, all the furnishings are new and comfortable, and there is a maid and groundskeepers (all friendly) who keep things looking top-notch, provide fresh towels, etc. We ate all our meals with views of the ocean, we never even needed the A/C due to the design of the house which allows a breeze to flow through when the sliding doors are open, three giant TVs + a projector for any of the nights you want to stay in. Everything was pretty incredible. Additionally, Tracey put us in touch with a cook and a masseuse who both came by daily, which made the experience that much greater. I rarely write reviews, and even more rarely glowing ones, but the quality of this place warrants it. Highly recommended.

was able to rent for 4 days (the weekend)! the stay was amazing, everything you need right @ your fingertips. The villa is located right in the middle of town, everything is in walking distance. The view is amazing during sunrise & sunset. Pool & all other Amenities are jus great! The projecter from the pool, jus amazing! Villa is highly recommended for all walks of life. I will stay again, I am staying again!

I rented this property with two other gentlemen. the place was very clean and property management was very helpful. The maid service was good, the location was great. Good security for the subdivision. The owner was very helpful and we definately plan to rent from him again.

I was able to rent the property for 10 days, and I'm am glad that I did. A gorgeous, airy, bright island villa getaway that's within walking distance of downtown sosua, the property sits at the top of a small hill as a result you are given sweeping views of the ocean and sosua bay, beautifully landscaped, quiet setting, sunrises, sunsets... the pictures does no justice to the villa's beauty you have to see in person to really appreciate, it is awesome. Staying there was a great experience as opposed to my usual accommodations. The staff is friendly & Francia was the best what a nice lady! Best Vacation I've had in DR Hands Thanx for a Great Vacation I will return.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

was able to rent here for 7 days, am glad that i did. a gorgeous, airy, bright island villa getaway thats within walking distance of downtown sosua, provided your ready for a little workout because it sits at the top of a small hill. pros far outweigh the cons though, with sweeping views of ocean and sosua bay, beautifully landscaped, quiet setting, sunrises, sunsets... the pictures give you an idea of the villa's beauty, staying theres an entirely different experience. highly recommended, as the owner said to me before i got there 'you'll have a great time'... i did!! enjoy!

Owner response: The villa being elevated on a small hill provides for the unparalleled combination of an amazing view, consistent breeze, brightness and airiness. Also, great for walking off the very good food in town. To compensate for the walk up the hill we put in the gradual steps on the side of the house. Be sure to use them--we do!!!
