                I have stayed here at Baxter5 for just under a month and I would strongly recommend it as a central base for exploring LA or a pleasant alternative to a hotel for those on business. The owner has been attentive, but not imposing, and whenever asked was very helpful with local knowledge and information.The property is clean, the location quiet (but extremely central) and the "area vibe" is very laid back and "cool". I will return.

                Baxter5 is a very well managed and welcoming home from home in LA. Michelle and Kathleen do a great job maintaining the place and dealing with everyday concerns. Above all, I love the location. Up in the canyon above Echo Park, it is one of LA's greatest hidden locations: beautiful walks, nice neighbors, great little cafes and shops, and close to Hollywood and Downtown.

                Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
