Unit C is an OCEANVIEW unit in an oceanfront complex. The views are stunning and the beach access is just 45 steps from the pool!
The location is as amazing as the interior features. Take a stroll down the newly built boardwalk on Atlantic Ave. Just 1 block from the Kure Beach Fishing Pier, restaurants, and shopping. This four unit condo complex includes a pool with stained concrete decking for a cool retreat in the summer.
Given the small size of the complex and the fact that the other units are owner occupied, this unit is not for people looking to have loud parties. This home is ideal for folks looking for a nice family vacation & having a great time at a wonderful NC Beach!
This 3 story unit has an elevator and a top floor observation deck with stunning panoramic views of Kure Beach.
The top floor living area offers expansive views of the ocean and fishing pier. Nighttime views feature glistening waters from the pier lights. The fully equipped kitchen matches up with all the luxuries this property has to offer, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and kitchen window with town views. A separate media room includes a wet bar, half bath and wine fridge, also extra sleeping available with the sofa sleeper. See all the downtown area of Kure Beach from the multiple windows in the room or the attached balcony. There are 2 master suites with glass block shower walls, soaking tubs, luxurious oversized tiled showers (with rain showerhead, hand held showerhead & multiple jets in the wall!), granite counters, T.V.s and Queen sized beds.
The two additional bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one with a queen bed and the other has 2 sets of twin-bunk beds, along with a full bath.
Home has 4 LCD TVs, cable (TV in GR has Digital package), local phone & highspeed wireless internet.

This is a non-smoking and pet-free property.
Linens are not included but we offer an optional linens and towels package: Queen sets are $25.00, Twin sets are $18.00, and include initial bed-making. The linen package rental includes sheets, pillow cases, bath, hand and wash cloths. There is also 13% tax paid on all linen rentals.
Check-in is at 3:00 p.m. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. Weekly rentals begin on Saturday.

We had a great time staying at this house. It was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked. It's not very often I find a rental home that actually has sharp knives. The beach was close which made it very convenient to go back and forth to the house if needed. There just so happened to be a festival with fireworks a couple of blocks away on one of the nights we stayed. Watching it from the observation deck was the perfect vantage point. Anne was very responsive to my emails and even gave us a heads up on the festival going on that weekend.Owner response: Thank you for your comments and we love hearing you enjoyed your stay at Pier Gazer. This is a very nice property. With several adults in our group, it was nice to have private baths along with spacious bedrooms which made it easy to have our own space when needed. The arrangement of the space in this house makes it easier to accommodate older adults, younger adults and little ones. One big plus is the elevator. And a popular spot was the widow's walk area on the roof top. The kitchen could use a few more serving dishes and the fire alarm next to the oven was a challenge each time we used the oven which was almost every meal. The beach area is very nice, clean and not crowded. Nice restaurants within walking distance and just a very pleasant place for being at the beach. The owners did a very nice job of thinking of everything. They are also very nice to work with when scheduling a visit. We definitely plan to return and will recommend to our friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We rented Pier Gazer for the weekend and had an amazing stay. It is perfect for multiple families (we had 3 families). The kids loved sleeping together in the bunk bed room, and when the weather was too windy for the beach, they had a blast "swimming" in the gigantic master bathtub. The beach was incredibly close and the pier was only a few minutes away. An amazing new playground is just before the pier and the kids loved playing there also. The house itself was clean, modern and very new feeling. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and large. When we couldn't figure out how to open the pool gate, the owner texted me back within a few minutes to let me know how to open it. They were incredible helpful and available to us. I would recommend Pier Gazer to anyone who wants to have a great time away (even if the weather doesn't cooperate!).Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

This place was bar-none the best we've stayed in on vacation. We've been traveling to the area for over 15 yrs. We had the worst possible weather, yet the best possible experience this time. Because of inclement weather, we were indoors almost the entire stay. Yet, it was so enjoyable! For once, we had all the comforts of home, PLUS added luxuries. The showers, for example, were amazing! Also, this is the first time down that I wasn't complaining and wishing I had brought half my kitchen with me. Yours was wonderfully stocked! Definitely a "cook's kitchen". We couldn't have been more pleased.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

This place is awesome. I had a different thought about this place, I was just expecting an ordinary house, but turned out to be an awesome place. We were a bunch of friends and enjoyed ourselves... walked to the beach a bunch of times since this place is just off the beach.Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

Photos and information on the web site didn't really do Pier Gazer justice--it's a beautiful beach house. Very comfortable, really nice accommodations, kitchen is very well stocked. House was very clean and everything was in great condition! Anne was great to work with and we would definitely recommend to others! had a great lunch at nearby Ocean Grill Tiki Bar too and loved Ft. Fisher Aquarium just down the road. Good time!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This was our first trip to Kure Beach and we found it to be quite beautiful and peaceful. We went off road for a day at Ft. Fisher where there is no one except your truck - it was awesome! The shells are abundant - we are taking many home to put around our pool. We went ghost crabbing at nite with flashlights and lots of screaming! It was a wonderful week. About: We are two couples with 2 children each who are good friends and established ties to Kure Beach while in graduate school at UNCW. We have young families and enjoy active lifestyles and found that Kure Beach was the perfect place to 'come back to' for a relaxing beach vacation that also was ideally located to great attractions. (Fort Fisher and the aquarium are must-sees!)
Why Kure Beach:
The charm of Kure Beach is undeniable. It is a sleepy little beach community that is just perfect for family vacations. KB is also such an easy drive from the Triangle, which is where we live, as well as anywhere along the East Coast.
We had been looking for a second home in KB for some time, but immediately fell for the location of the Pier Gazer. Just 45 short steps to the beach access (and a very short walk to the pier), we love being able to come and go easily from house to beach. We enjoyed furnishing this home with decor that we felt captured the light and breezy beach feel. Pier Gazer has truly become our home away from home!
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
We easily fell into a delightful routine at the Pier Gazer...morning coffee and beautiful sunrise views from the living room deck, scenic strolls along the boardwalk to the pier while the kids play soccer on the beach (one morning we even caught a bagpipe show at the pier!), and leisurely days spent at the beach and the pool. Searching for sea shells in the sand, watching the pelicans dive into the sea or just people watching at KB make our days. We enjoy the easy 3 minute walk to great restaurants at the pier (whether it be Nathan's hotdogs or seafood at Mackerals!). After dinner, a glass of wine in the crows nest is the perfect way to unwind at the end of a 'hard day' at the beach.
